Yeah megadark please share. I just started getting into NG+ stuff. NG+ feels easier than NG so far due to how much stronger your gear is. Some of the enemies come out slightly faster especially in dark realm I've noticed but if you got their patterns down in NG you should have little problem really.
You know I actually like the English dub. The yokai weapons especially are so hammy in their delivery and it's wonderful.

I literally got a lucky 170 + 1 Lootdrop of an Iron Switchglaive out of nowhere fighting a Magatsu warrior during the Daidara Bocchi stage. Already boosted it to level +4, and I plan to put my shuten Doji club into into it after geting the Switchglaive to plus 7 and adding the Stamina A+ bonus on top of it.
Lucky drop, indeed.

Watch SymphogearAlright Vertigo, here we go. First disclaimer, I can be wrong about some of this information since I didn't dive too deep but I think I have the gist. Let me first start off with...
1. Every bonus on a weapon falls into a category. For example, you have elemental imbue effects (fire, elect, corruption), status accumulation, attack bonus, life drain, skill bonuses, ki consumption, and many more. I say this first because this leads into...
2. You can NOT have 2 bonuses from the same category. Best examples I can use are weapons with build in element or melee damage. If a weapon already has an element you can't put another element on that weapon (Kamui Odachi for example has build in fire so I can't temper for another element. Duel Swords might be the exception but I don't know, I don't use duel swords). The Melee damage is another skill and a late game trap. If you have Melee damage already on a weapon then you can't temper for the better "Attack Bonus" skills. So if you have any weapons with "Melee Damage" already build in get rid of it since it will be out performed late game. This leads into...
3. When you do get Attack Bonus skill make sure it's for the highest stat on your character. Don't bother for Attack Bonuses for Agility or Lightness/weight (unless you're doing a bare hand build then I hear this bonus is good).
4. Inherited skills also follow these rules both the white block and orange block. Now if you see an orange block on Divine gear KEEP IT! Once you max out the familiarity of both weapons or armor and perform a soul match, if none of bonuses are in conflict then the orange inherited skill will move over and fill in a slot on the item its fused to. Weapons and Armor can have a maximum of 7 bonuses.
5. Inherited skills also work on soul cores. Most people however use this to move inherited skills from soul cores to corrupt weapons via soul matching. I haven't done it myself yet since I've yet to see a soul skill that I needed on a weapon. But if you do the transfer skills is the same as weapons, max out the soul core and the familiarity of the corrupt weapon, soul fuse them together, max out the familiarity of the weapon again then soul fuse it to the weapon you want the skill transferred to.
Hopefully this helps and didn't confuse you. I'll clarify anything if it did.
Hyped for Hyperdimension Neptunia V 2The melee damage thing is good to know. I did temper my switchglaive so it scales off magic higher but I think I do have the bonus melee thing so I need to get rid of that.
What surprises me is how Ranmaru Mori was completely Absent from Nioh 2 outside of being a Blue revenant.
I thought we would have at least seen him for a single scene, at least.
Watch SymphogearYasuke's taken over his usual spot in these things, which is fine by me since that's one historical character that deserves more limelight.
My guess is they're saving Ranmaru to be an eventual Player Character.
Been replaying the original game, and after doing so, I can say that Nioh 2 is definitely better.
There is one thing the first game does that second game doesn't that I do like, and that is not gimping your character's gear by decreasing its effectiveness by almost a fifth of the overall stats if you don't have a guardian spirit on hand. It feels weird why they did that for the second game.
Also, the Otakemaru Soul Core got nerfed. You know its a Game Breaker when the devs nerf it specifically, and it can still be game breaker on larger bosses.
Watch SymphogearI officially have my Nioh 2 platinum trophy. It can sit right next to my Nioh 1 platinum. God Eater 3 will be my next one I just need to read up on the specifics of 1 trophy. Anyway I am now on the level 170 + 10 gear grind. I'm tempted to switch my current armor (shine maiden) for the wandering shrine maiden for the extra 8% damage versus Yokai but I don't want to loose my current defense since my farming route takes me through 3 deadly enemies where the extra defense helps.
Also I had a gotcha moment. I got level 154 year but it wasn't divine. I was hoping you could still soul match it to level up a weapon. You can't. Oh well back to the grind.
Hyped for Hyperdimension Neptunia V 2Is +10 the max right now? I know that Nioh 1's D Lc allowed for much higher gear with each one that came out.
I do think if Nioh 3 is a thing, they should have Ethereal Gear, if not at the start, at least be dropped on whatever the final boss is of that games base NG+. Because restricting it behind the DLC expansions still is a pain.
Watch SymphogearNioh 2 platinum'd? Pics or it didn't happen.
Seriously though congrats. I plan on returning to the game eventually but I need a break from constantly... Being broken.
From what I read plus 10 is the current maximum. If you are farming for plus gear and level 170 gear, I think the final level is where you can get a lot of it. And farming Otakamaru because my word the dude has a lot of smithing text (give me the purity sword text you jerk).
The only hard trophy in the game right now are getting all the soul cores, finding all the kodama and hot springs, and getting all the mystic parts for each weapon (because of the grind). Its not a really hard game to platinum, just time consuming.
Hyped for Hyperdimension Neptunia V 2And then there's all the titles in the prestige menu, too.
I'm glad they took out the time trials from the first game for the second one. The levels are just too big compared to the first game to implement them well.
Watch SymphogearKind of wished I worked on those more before the Otakemaru nerf because I really don't want to make a ninja build to get all the no damage titles on bosses.
Hyped for Hyperdimension Neptunia V 2Almost ready to get a 170 + 10 Shuten Doji Hammer. I'm going for a Strength build.
Just one more plus 9 weapon to get.
Watch SymphogearI misread that as "all the titties" and thought maybe they snuck a kasha title screen unlockable somewhere.
It's amazing that this is probably Team Ninja's least horny game of all time and it still has stuff like the Nure-Onna and Flying Bolt. Not to mention a Female Player Character's Yokai Shift.
Someone on the dev team is a major monsterfucker.
And the Kasha. Can't forget her.
It's been fun.I find the Flying Bolt to be actually more cute then hot. I don't know, maybe its the way she doesn't like using her hands or feet and prefers her cloth.
Plus, I bet she's probably pretty friendly if you get to know her better.
Watch SymphogearIdk she's all wet on her character model in the illustrations, and shows a decent amount of skin. Alas her complete lack of nose brings her into Uncanny Valley somewhat.
One thing I hope for Nioh 2's DLC is that its better balanced for a normal New game as opposed to later difficulties, because Nioh 1's DLC is bullshit in its difficulty compared to the main game, especially Dragon of the North.
Watch SymphogearStill haven't beaten DOTN.
I've heard that many of the dlc bosses in 1 were pretty obnoxiously designed.
Date Shigezane as his Bisha Centipede does ridiculous damage with each hit, is absurdly fast for his size, and he's durable as hell. Date Masamune is the best designed, but even then, some of his moves probably could have been nerfed a bit, his long range grapple can be a one hit kill. And then, There's Lady Maria.... I was kinda lucky i beat all them in their main story missions.
The later DLC is apparently a lot better balanced, I think even the Devs apologized for how unbalanced the first games DLC was when they talked about Nioh 2's DLC.
It just wasn't balanced well for basic new game.
Watch SymphogearI burned out of postgame Nioh before I even touched the DLC, thanks to such classics as "fight this Nue while also fighting a tengu".
It's been fun.
Oh sure, rub in the lack of Sai.
I wanna see a Jitte too.
