Why does Hiram even want Archie in jail? He said he was dealing with the glue that kept the gang together but Betty and/or Jughead fit that description better than Archie does. Is it because Archie threatened him? That'd be dumb because he's still way more powerful than Archie is.
Hiram hates Archie for dating his daughter, his father for sleeping (maybe) with his wife, and for threatening him.

It's not like Archie in the comics was very bright, though he did grab the Smart Ball more than once. A third of his problems came from other people's actions, another third from bad luck, and the other third came from his own actions or misunderstanding of others' actions.

So what supernatural elements are the trope pages talking about? Is it Sabrina or Alexandra Cabot (Josie's rival) related?
In the comics, Alex's cat Sebastian is the reincarnation of Sebastian Cabot, a witchcraft-practicing ancestor of the Cabot family. Alexandra finds that, by holding Sebastian in her arms, she can cast powerful magic spells. Alexandra was later shown to be able to cast spells on her own.

I dunno. If there's going to be a crossover with Sabrina in the future I think setting up the supernatural elements now makes the most sense. I do wonder if the farm and the shit going on with this game are connected though....
I doubt there will be a crossover anytime soon. Season 1 of C Ao S is already done filming, and it sounds like they'll be done filming season 2 by December. I figure if they were gonna do a crossover they would have announced it by now.

I mean they could be keeping the crossover under wraps until season two of CAoS is closer to airing. From what I've read there aren't plans for one right now but that could change in the future and foreshadowing ahead of time is good even if it's still a year or more out.
