If TFS did an abridged series of Digimon Adventure (they sort of already did with Abridgimon but that never got another episode), how would they characterize each of the Digidestined and their partners?

Abridgimon got two episodes and a movie.

Abridgimon 1 and 2 aren't on their youtube channel, like Attack on Titan abridged, but I found 1.

Episode 1.

I couldn't find shit for episode 2 except this reaction video which is unfortunate. But it has TFS's vocal performances, so.

And, of course, Abridgimon the movie.

If I recall somewhat, EP.2 used to be on Lani's channel but it got taken down (Toei and Hasbro) . And all I remember from it was them making fun of themselves, Tai's preferences (which is exactly the same as in the movie), and Apocalymon repeatedly yelling out "STAT SCREEN" just to get the plot going.

Goku was portrayed as a dumbass, Cloud was portrayed as a wimp, I wonder how TFS would portray Tai? (Ignoring Abridgimon all together)

Let's see... what's the defining character meme for Tai? Well, there's the underlying incestuous undertones with Kari in that one episode his bone-headedness.

I get the feeling Tai would be somewhat of a mix between Cloud and Goku.

In the actual Abridgimon thing he actually seemed somewhat like Sword Art Abridged Kirito, a snarky asshole.

We already have an asshole protagonist. His name is Kirito (and also Asuna, and basically anyone in the main cast).

Yeah Tai's more "creepy" horny as hell at anything with no sense of subtlety. And the numerous passes at his little sister that warranted a freaking expansion in a Japanese apartment via a 100ft. restraining order.

Yeah, its the holidays. They usually take those weeks off.

Yeah, a bit hard to stream when 90% of the office is on holiday. Streams should continue on Thursday with Metal gear most likely, unless Lani and Grant still haven't gotten back by then.

So, I went and watched dragon ball Z: the Legacy of Goku, the original one, because I recollect that one being quite amusing when Landis, Kirran, and Smith had played it.

It's actually driving me to gurgling, tear-induced laughter, especially with the Saga of Guru's temple!

Yeah, the first Legacy of Goku game is a beautiful trashfire. Having played it myself, nothing was exaggerated, the game is exactly as terrible and ridiculous as they made it look. It's amazing that Legacy 2 and Buu's Fury turned out as good as they did, with such an awful start.

All three games have at least two excruciating bits, though. Legacy of Goku 1 has the whole game, but special mention goes to Snake Way and the Namekian Temple.

Legacy 2 has the bit right before they train for 3 years where you have to start Hercule's parade using fetch-quests and fight Triceratops King, and it also has the part where you have to unlock Gero's secret lab by finding switches.

Buu's Fury has Babidi's ship, which is almost worse than the Namekian Temple. It's not as confusing and obtuse, but it's HUGE and it DOESN'T END. Buu's Fury also has Goten and Trunks' search for the Dragon Balls, where the game just makes up seven whole filler dungeons for you to go through.

I still go back and play the latter two games from time to time, though. There are frustrating parts, but even those are still pretty fun if you can get past the glacial pace, and the games are incredibly solid aside from that.

I would love a Legacy of Goku 4, featuring Super content. Just imagining how they'd pad out Vegeta going to an amusement park with his family into a whole dungeon makes me laugh. They'd probably have robbers break in to try and hold the park hostage. In-between fights in the U6 tournament, there'd be side-quests that reveal the Neutral Planet is actually inhabited by aliens. Zamasu would have his own church of followers in the future.

So has the dub of Hells already been brought up?

Cause this movie seems to have fallen way below the radar. I've had no spoilers for it and there's barely any plot summary on wikipedia.

I have a copy. It's a wild ride. It has a very fast paced, off-the-wall sense of humor running through the whole thing. TFS and the other talent brought in were able to play off the whiplash inducing melodrama and zaniness pretty well. Little Kuriboh as God was a highlight.

For anyone who hasn't heard, Ben (HBI 2 K) no longer works for TFS. It was an amicable split, but they aren't sure yet how this will effect stuff like TFS at the Table yet.

Huh. So who's in charge now? I thought he was their boss.

I wasn't aware he was their boss. Interesting that he left though.

Apparently a video talking about it will be released Monday. I assume either Kaiser or Lani will take over as CEO.

Well, damn, I liked Ben. His top-tier dad jokes were always a highlight. Wonder why he's leaving.
