if nobody minds i'm removing the indentation in candice's entry because it's part of the blatant Natter/WalkthroughMode that plagues the article.
also, I don't think Alder should be included because he's a Bonus Boss and therefore doesn't meet the criteria for That One Boss by default.

Just looked at Blue's Red and Blue movesets, and they're fucking pathetic. Some mons don't have STAB or have only 3 moves, and Arcanine has goddamn Ember as its STAB. His Yellow teams are actually competent at least.

If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?Keeping Blue is fine since he is something of a challenge, especially since your team and supplies might be depleted by the time you fight him, assuming final bosses aren't exempt.
Anything that has a caveat indentation should be removed for sure, though.

Good catch on getting rid of Alder, and I currently see 2 votes against Blue and 1 vote for.
Yellow Blue could probably stay because, like I said, his teams in that game are actually competent.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with? Can't comment on Champion Blue since again I've never played Gen I or Gen III.
HG/SS Blue might be worth keeping, but it'd probably be due to his Pokemon's high levels and good movesets compared to the other bosses in the game and not because of Trick Room (Exeggutor has the same slow and easily exploited weakness problem Steelix and Torkoal have, and Trick Room forces it to move last anyway; it'll probably be dead before it gets the chance to set up Trick Room).
Icon by Civvi the Civilian! So just mention Yellow and Remake Blue then?
Erika and Lance need to be removed, too. Every time they add a caveat at the end detailing how to easily beat a boss, you can safely remove said boss.
Actually that's just the Walkthrough Mode issue I brought up, telling people how to beat a boss in the same entry. They shouldn't be remove entirely, just cut the method of beating them.
Which I just did. Did it for Surge too.

Glacia's entry seems to be based entirely around her ORAS team and thus should probably be removed. I do remember hearing about how people had trouble with her in Gen III though, so maybe replace it with that?
Icon by Civvi the Civilian! While I haven't touched Black 2 in ages, I'm not sure Cheren needs to be here either.
Cheren does seem like he needs to go. I'll look into Glacia.
Pryce needs to be cut. Dewgong has tons of common weaknesses just like the rest of his team.
And the rival battle if you chose Piplup, considering that's entirely random what it uses and you can just growl at it to counter balance the affect.
And since final bosses aren't allowed unless they're overly difficult (frankly, none of them really are), I'd just go ahead and cut all the champions/Ghetsis in BW.

I've seen Gen 3 Glacia described as the hardest Elite Four member in an online guide so maybe her entry can be turned into that. I agree with cutting Pryce and the first rival battle from Gen 4 though.
Cutting all the Final Bosses I can live with under that circumstance, it's why I brought up the subject with Blue. I want more votes on that before I proceed though.

Not related to cutting any bosses, but with the cleanup drastically reducing the number of entries that line at the very bottom should probably be cut.
And anything related to B2/W2's Challenge Mode should go as well, for the same reasons as axing the Gen VI entries.
I agree with cutting all the final bosses, with the exception of maybe Cynthia since she seems to be kind of infamous.

Icon by Civvi the Civilian!Actually I just realized I can't edit anything since Very Melon checked the article lol, silly me.
is liutenant surge in yellow actually that difficult? i remember his gym puzzle being far more obnoxious than the battle itself, and i get the impression that most players catch a diglett in diglett cave to deal with him (unless you can't in yellow for some reason, i've never played it myself).
I actually had a dispute with someone a few years back over whether he counted but looking at him I'd say he doesn't. I'd be one thing if he had at least 3 Pokemon as high leveled as Raichu but Raichu is his sole Pokemon.

Raichu has an easier time killing Diglett because it has Mega Punch and Mega Kick + Diglett is a frail fucker, but I doubt it makes him super hard.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?So I've decided to cut every Final Boss except for Cynthia, since her team has Perfect stats in game where the other bossed don't, on top of the balance her team possesses.
iirc the perfect (or near perfect) stats thing is applicable to other final bosses in later games, and she doesn't actually have any EV investment.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with? For my FRLG run, I just had my own Raichu use Dig on it. Plus, you can get a Nidoking/queen at that point.
I forgot the consensus on Clair. Her Kingdra is pretty hard since it only has one weakness, and attempts to 3HKO it are shut down by Yawn. Otherwise, the rest of her team is relatively easy to beat.
If that's true, then I'll cut her as well.
I was actually wondering about that myself.
also the main reason i remember cynthia being difficult is the garchomp. i don't remember anything else about her team giving me that much trouble.

His team is varied, but seems more like he'd be standard Final Boss difficulty. I haven't played RBY in forever though, is take that with a grain of salt.
