Suggestion: Badass Adorable

I was gonna suggest a replacement for the Kirby image, but I see it's already gone.

That said, I suggest the top panel, here as the new page image. It illustrates the trope by showing a cute character bodyslamming a larger opponent and the image itself works as a visual pun (i.e. the words: "Is YOU! ♥" near her butt, during the attack).

I'm going to give that a solid . It's toeing the NSFW line too closely for my comfort. Also, as a trope with media-specific subpages, the images ideally go on the subpages and the Anime and Manga subpage already has a pic that's been kept on the page per two older threads.

Yeah and really I am not seeing it, she looks huge in that picture and kinda hard to see.

Definite for OP. Panty Shot making it potentially NSFW + unclear as to who the Badass Adorable is = not a good suggestion.

Can't see adorable. I can see other stuff which are not needed to illustrate trope. And if this thread is for Badass Adorables in all of media I would go with BUPKIS.

Prominent Panty Shot = no way, bad image.

The only other action shot of her is this one, which has her in uniform. But it isn't the same, since she's beating up another cutie type character, instead of someone bigger than her.

Maybe it's just me but when I think of cuteness I think of babies or furry animals or baby animals. A teenager in a revealing school uniform is not the first thing that comes to mind. Still .

I'm completely lost here, which character was supposed to be cute? 'Cause I was talking about the one in a school uniform.

Badass Adorable places equal emphasis on badassery. It isn't just about the character being cute.

Celia's uniform isn't revealing unless you're referring to her bust size. She's covered head-to-toe, so you don't get to see anything and the image behind her is her pro wrestling outfit.

About the only other character that comes to mind (at the moment), would be Yuki Nagato. Here you can see her confronting Ryoko to protect Kyon.

Teens do count, it's the size and cuteness that counts not the age.

However what are you suggesting for? The main page is being left blank, we have had 2 threads already for the subpage, need something stellar really.

If you can find something the size of and cuteness of day Vita in Nanoha kicking ass in a clear image then we might have something.

As for the subpages, the only one I've looked at so far is the manga/anime one. The current image for that one (Ymir) seems fine as is.

There are medium subpages those get an image from said medium, the main page only gets an image in addition to subpages if there is a truly stellar image that gets voted on..

Why not? It was good enough for Kirby as the Video Game subpage image. At least you can see Ruby has a Little Red Ridinghood motif, yet she's armed (with a giant scythe, no less) and clearly dressed for combat. A combination like that has "badass adorable" written all over it.

Besides, most of the images at the RWBY wikia are of non-combat scenes. But I still managed to find a pretty good one.◊ Not only is it a clearer shot of Ruby, you can see the details of her outfit better (right down to the bullets on her belt), plus she's armed and preparing for combat. All we gotta do is crop the image to exclude Weiss.

Kirby's at least waving the sword around, rather than passively posing. And there's a difference between "good enough" and "good". If you can, it's better to aim for a great image than one that's just good enough.

Weiss also counts as adorable, though.

In that case, we can leave the image as is, since you can see Ruby and Weiss are surrounded by Beowolves. So it's a badass adorable duo getting ready to face-off with a group of monsters, that makes it even better.

Also I dislike the "iron baby" images in 15, they are just lame Photoshops right?

It's an animation some guy made over a real baby. Dunno, I thought it could work.

Please don't take it personally, I want to be able to say "I dislike that" without worrying whether the person who suggested it thinks that reflects on them.
