With all of this insanity and bomb-throwing going on Legion decided that it probably wouldn't be a good idea to get involved. The geth backed up to a significant distance, while still keeping an eye out. Despite how batshit insane the tiny man seemed to be, he did have a point - something zipped by on motion sensors a while ago, but Legion hadn't deemed it a threat. Or important at all.

The geth resolved to keep a metaphorical eye out. It did at least catch Viktor's name, however.

While the rest had focused on attacking Plague Knight directly, Josuke had focused on making sure another bomb didn't get past him. He had to get closer to get Crazy Diamond in range, and as such he sort of ran past the rest of the group. He heard the madman's words about somebody watching them, and although he took the dancing lunatic's words with a pinch of salt, he did try to take a good glimpse at where he'd thrown the first bomb.

He did hear the laser sword wielding man start yelling at something in the same direction Plague Knight had attacked earlier though.

At that moment, he thought he might have saw someone, or something. He couldn't be sure though, even with both his and Crazy Diamond's eyes.

"Hey! If somebody's out there, you should probably come out now! Otherwise paranoid assholes are gonna keep throwin' shit at ya!"

After Gon heard a lot of ruckus and loud noise, he went to crouch and walk over the edge to see what was going on.

I don't believe it.

The assassin was now witnessing a squabble going on in the streets. He sighed and shook his head.

I cannot work with this group if they continue to be like this.

Gon moved out of his current roof position and used the emergency exit staircase on the right side of the building and use the rear alleys to navigate.

With or without any help from anyone, Gon was going to investigate the city anyway.

The Forest of Magic - Alice's House

It was a quiet, peaceful day at the forest. The sun was shining and bathing the world in a warm, refreshing light, however Alice was avoiding this light, deciding to stay inside of the comfort of her house. At that moment, she was in the process of making more dolls for herself a process she has done so many times it became second nature for her and in some ways it felt therapeutic.

Too bad that this peace was soon completely destroyed by a blonde girl in a black witch outfit barging into her house with an energetic smile on her face.

"Yo, Alice!" she loudly greeted, waving at the puppeteer sitting on a chair in front of her "You mind if I borrow one of ya magic books?"

"Have you never heard of knocking, Marisa?" asked Alice, sighing as she stood up with her incomplete doll in hand. She curiously raised an eyebrow "And you're actually asking before you take something for once? You must be plotting something."

Marisa looked mildly amused by the comment "Nope! Figured it would be faster if I just asked ya for it."

"Well, whatever you're looking for, go ahead." Alice sat down on her chair once more and began working on her doll "Just know you won't be borrowing it forever. I'll make sure to make a visit to your house to get it back later."

With the warning given, Alice focused on her work and left Marisa to her own devices. The witch was a nuisance to say the least but one she was already used to dealing with, sadly.

A couple of minutes passed and Alice was so focused on her work, but suddenly everything just... Stopped. Her, Marisa, the sounds of the forest... Everything just stopped like as if that one maid had used her powers but this time Alice was counscious during the period where time stopped.

She didn't get time to question this occurrance though, as suddenly the reality around her suddenly began to disappear, it was like it was being sucked away by a black hole while she remained in place, in the blink of an eye, she found herself to be sitting in complete darkness.

"W-What...?" Alice thought mystified and scared of these blindingly fast events happening around her.

The Lost City

Alice blinked once more and all of sudden she found herself sitting on the ground of a city unlike any other she had seen. It was like the ground and the rest of the surroundings just materialized themselves in the brief moment she blinked. It was obvious something big had happened and this time she was directly affected by it.

She glanced at the area around her, she was not alone, there were others there too. From the immense diversity in appearance alone among the crowd, she knew they weren't locals, the same thing must have happened to them as they were brought into this strange city.

It didn't take too long for things to get heated, interaction between the different beings in that little area became hectic, certainly something Alice did not want to deal with.

She noticed the circular building that had made it's way to the very center of the city. She was more likely to find answers there than talking to the group of misfits she was in and so, without saying a single word, Alice began walking towards the center of the city with her still unfinished doll in one hand and her grimoire in the other.

Angua wished she was in human form so she could express her exasperation. What were these idiots thinking? Especially the diamond troll-turned-human (again, bloody wizards) and the guy with the weird sword made of light. She needed to get these people organized, and to do that, she needed to be human. And for that to be effective and not embarrassing, she needed clothes. To that end, she trotted off into the city to go find some laundry someone had hung out to dry or something. Hopefully it fit her.

Plague Knight was only a few feet off the ground when Undyne tossed her spear at him. He twirled in the air to dodge it and he grabbed the shaft, swinging around before hanging upon it like a lamppost.

"Temper, temper, my dear," he said, wagging his finger at her. "Otherwise you might broil yourself from rage alone! HEE HEE HEEEEEE! Though wait, are you a fish woman?" he asked. "You don't look like one. Your head looks far too human."

One look at Rick, and Plague Knight immediately decided to completely ignore the rube. Then Travis mentioned ninjas: "Yes, THAT was what I believe I saw!" Plague Knight said. "I heard about those! Sneaky, opportunistic assassins and sabatours with no honor who move at speeds so fast they are mere blurs to the naked eye, and charge the nobility exuberant amounts of gold to dispatch their targets in silent yet incredibly painful ways! Or so I've heard......"

And then Ben suddenly transformed from being a lumbering crystal monster to a young boy. Underneath his mask, the Knight's eyes widened. "Keep the burner on....." he said, letting go of the felled spear and then going over to Ben, ignoring Undyne entirely. "Lad, you must tell me!" Plague Knight called out to Ben. "You were able to achieve a total molecular shift from a igneous silicate form into soft carbon based animal tissue! How were you able to achieve such sorcery?!"

Ben was struck dumb by Plague Knight's question.

"I.... don't know what you just said but... I think you were asking how I changed," he muttered. He then smirked, and held his Omnitrix up as if he were going to press it again (despite it being on cooldown). "This is the Omnitrix. It's a watch from outer space, it lets me turn into aliens," Ben explained. "I don't know how it works, but it works."

He grinned, crossing his arms. "I use my aliens to save people. I'm a hero! I'm Ben Tennyson!" he exclaimed triumphantly, ignoring the strange looks he was getting from the others on the balcony.

"Sorcery from beyond the stars......." Plague Knight said, his eyes sparkling underneath his mask. "Oh, this is so exciting! How many forms do you have?! Are the molecular shifts just as drastic?! Any of them cause massive amounts of explosions?!" The last question was asked with a little too much enthusiasm....

Shit..!

The kunoichi swore to herself as she appear to be spotted by someone among the group. A person that didn't take kindly to her sneaking around and did so by throwing some sort of object into her direction. Luckily, her training paid off and she dodged the bomb just in time so that it missed her head. It appeared to boomerang from where it was thrown, but with the mass of people gathered, she could not see who threw it. She did not want to take any chances with her apparent compromised position and moved away from the shadows, jumping in a blur to a higher vantage point. Once she landed on the ground, she rummaged her backpack and pulled out a set of kunai.

Good thing that training came to use. I nearly got caught there... Ibuki thought while keeping an eye on things down on the ground.

This time, Legion was unable to ignore what had popped up on its motion sensors. Ibuki may have been a blur, but Legion was a machine, and a smart one at that.

It turned around and stared at where it thought Ibuki's vantage point was. It was unsure as to whether or not this unknown entity was of a hostile nature or not... and was not willing to take the chance. There was a war to win back home, and Legion had no desire to see the geth exterminated, nor would it fall back on its promise to Shepard-Commander.

It would help.

Ben thought for a moment. A lot of questions at once. "Well, uh... it's not sorcery...." he muttered to himself.

He then cleared his throat. "Okay, so to answer your questions.... I have ten of them. They're uh, they're pretty different from this one. One's a machine. Another's a ghost. And one is made of fire, that's Heatblast, he makes some pretty cool explosions," he stated, grinning. "But I like to save them for the bad guys."

Ben then relaxed his posture and looked more directly at Plague Knight. "I'm guessing you... like explosions? Well, what's your name? Where you from?" He then pointed out Plague Knight's outfit. "And what's with that crazy getup?"

"Oh-oh great, another one of these backwards *urp* fantasy worlds," said Rick as he watched Plague Knight, taking note of the fact that the little green thing was going on about alchemy and sorcery and who knew what else. "Alright," said Rick, raising his fingers as he rattled off some of his speaking points. "One: life on other worlds is a thing. Two: There's a multiverse out there. Three: Electricity, running water, and separation of church and state exist now. Get with, get with the program. Don't, don't just run around thinking everything is some kind of crazy magic, 'cause it's not."

When Ben mentioned the Omnitrix and held it up, Rick scrutinized the watch. "Looks like it's *urp* it's some kind of mobile DNA scanner. You just gotta, gotta push that button in the middle and it instantly regenerates your entire genome based on the... the signal from inside that thing. DNA, chromosomes, haploids, diploids, everything. I tried experimenting with this kind of technology a few years ago. It got- it got pretty ugly, Ben. Tumors *hic* everywhere. Those, those homeless people never knew what hit them, oh man. Gotta say, though, mad props to whatever guy managed to perfect that shit."

"What?! You-you never told me about this, Rick! That's horrible!"

"Jeez, Morty, it's fine. They're- all those homeless people are dead now, okay? I-I put 'em out of their misery, Morty. I have some compassion too."

"You murder people? What's wrong with you?"

He started talking to Ben, "And if I were you kid, I wouldn't let him touch that watch of yours. I've seen what happens when DNA mutates without control."

Rex then approached the Plague knight and created a giant sword from his arm. He grabbed the knight and said:

"Now tell me what you know. Who's watching us?"

"Transformation into a metallurgic being, an ectoplasmic undead entity, and a living golem of combustion! That does explosions! Wondrous!!" Plague Knight said. "And all without the use of sorcery?! Highly unbelievable, but the level of technology involved.....possibilities are truly endless! Though sadly outside my field of expertise.

"Oh right, introductions!" he said when Ben asked for a name. "I am Plague Knight, greatest alchemist in all of Pridemoor Valley and the world! Or my world at least, considering the apparent circumstances. And of course I love explosions! The true mark of an alchemist is how big the BOOM one can create!"

Then Rick started to ramble. "Even from here, I can smell the putrid stench of alcohol and fermentation from your breath, thus I can justifiably ignore most of what you say as the ramblings of a drunken fool," he said to the other scientist. "For instance, combining church and state?! PAH! The last couple of nobles that tried to do that were swiftly lynched by the general populace! Such nonsense! And experimentation on the homeless I hear? Such barbarism! If you want to experiment on people, do so on the willing you hire and compensate the survivors! That's how you do proper SCIENCE!"

Rex then grabbed the dimunitive knight by his robes and asked about what he knew. "Seriously, violence as the first action looks to be a trend spanning multiple universes it seems," he said. "Anyway, I believe that whomever may be watching us is a ninja of some sort. Whether or not they are involved with our current prison is an argument confirmed for when we actually find them."

"Of course someone's watching us!" Barked Undyne, letting the spears behind her fade away. No need to hit Rex in the crossfire. Though she kept the spear in her hand, squeezing it tightly in a vain attempt to calm down. "In case you didn't notice, most of the people here are just humans. We kind of, you know, STAND OUT. If I was a human and saw a maniac with a bird mask fighting a kid with a giant sword, I'd be keeping my distance and staring too."

She sighed and set her spear against the ground, leaning on it.

"Look, these guys said magic didn't exist in their worlds. Pretty sure they've never seen a monster before either. So you can't go around attacking people for no reason. If you do..."

Undyne's eye narrowed and her mouth twisted into a snarl.

"I'll kill you."

Ben stared at Rick, listening as he explained his theory about the Omnitrix's inner workings. Then he winced at Rick's statement about the homeless people. He swiftly jerked his arm away from the scientist. "Wasn't planning on it," he groaned, eyeing Rick as if he were some sort of madman.

When Rex grabbed Plague Knight, and he explained about the ninja, Ben shook his head. "They're probably stuck here just like we are. They just don't wanna be seen is all. You know how ninjas are. Always sneaking around." He put his hands behind his head and sighed. "It looks like we're gonna have to look somewhere else for answers about this place. And how to get home, for that matter."

He jumped a bit when Unyne spoke up and looked over towards her. "Whoa, chill out, lady..." he exclaimed. "No need to kill anyone. Seriously. We're all in this mess."

As Alice was walking away, she kept hearing the arguing between the other beings that were brought with her, they weren't going to get anywhere at that rate. With that in mind, she took a few steps back and looked over all of them

"Rather than just talking, it would be wise to head towards the strange building that placed itself in the center of the city, don't you think?" she addressed everybody politely, keeping herself firm "It's the only lead we have right now and we don't have anything to lose by investigating."

Rex absorbed the sword he had made and pair of wings with rotors on each end sprouted from his back.

"Way ahead of you."

He started flying and just as he had suspected, the city was floating in nothingness. He stared at the group below and told them to follow him to the tower.

"...or just stay there with the ninjas. I'm sure they are friendly."

Everything felt like it was moving insanely fast to Gentaro. He caught that there was something about multiple universes? Well, he guessed that made sense considering the bunch of odd looking folks gathered around in front of him. Who did it? Oh, wait, nobody knew. Wait, now there was a ninja around?? His head spun around trying to catch wind of the ninja before giving up entirely. Either he was being especially slow, or he was dimension-hopping-lagged.

Then Alice spoke up, letting him focus on something smaller rather than the big commotion in front of him. Now this, this was a plan he could get behind, and probably something he could use to help defuse the situation.

He jogged ahead in front of the pack and turned back to tell them, "Hey, yeah, why don't we go check that big thing? It's the only thing around here that ain't giving me a headache just looking at it so it's gotta be pretty important."

He shifted his weight onto one of his feet and continued, "'sides, I think you all are getting off on the wrong foot." He pat his chest twice with his right fist and extended it out to everyone in greeting, "Let's all start over and maybe we can all be friends? I'm Gentaro Kisaragi, and I'll definitely be friends with all of you."

Ben was about to start rushing over to the tower himself (following Rex, primarily), when he saw Gentaro approach and address the group. He smirked. "I'm Ben Tennyson. Nice to meet you," he introduced. Then he looked and began to take a better look at the tower. It was certainly big. He began to wonder what was in there, and what made it so important that it was in the center of the city anyway.

He glanced back at the others. "C'mon, let's go check it out!" he exclaimed, running towards the tower. He stopped at the door, moving off to the side and peeking so he wouldn't be seen by whoever was inside, if anyone.

It seemed that his warning went unanswered. Though he had noticed another shift in movement, the Stand User still couldn't discern what was exactly moving, or where it ended up. He did notice Danny fly overhead, but didn't see where the ghost-teen(he wondered how that worked—He thought ghosts usually were stuck in one place. Maybe they were different in that kid's dimension?) had gone. The odd creature(man?) the rest had dubbed 'Bird Mask' talked about some sort of ninja, in-between insults on the rest's lack of judgement.

Josuke sighed, dismissing his Stand. The large, heart-motifed spirit instantly returned to the teen, and soon disappeared as if it was never there to begin with.

He looked back around ground level. He noticed the area got a lot more empty after that debacle. Even the freaking wolf had ditched them. The in-fighting probably didn't give their group a good look.

He walked over to Gentaro and Alice, figuring they had the right idea. He never really looked towards the rest of the city all that much, it'd probably be good for them to figure out how this place worked if they were gonna be here a while.

"Oy, nice to meet ya. Name's Josuke, if you didn't catch it earlier." He responded to the similarly pompadoured dude, joining the travel towards the center.

"Threatening to attack someone if they attack someone," Plague Knight responded to Undyne. "I see absolutely no hypocrisy in that statement at all." Rex then dropped Plague Knight - "OOF" - before flying off towards the structure in the center.

"Tinker Knight would have a field day with that lad," Plague Knight muttered. He soon dusted himself off as a another teenager, this one with a pompadour, approached the group. At Gentaro's proclaimation of becoming friends with everyone there.......

"Doubt it," he said to the teen rather bluntly. "It should be obvious the drunkard geezer over there is an impassable uphill battle, at the least," Plague Knight said, pointing to Rick.

"Hmph. There's a difference between fighting to protect and fighting because you're an idiot." Undyne snapped at him, and then turned to Gentaro and grinned.

"Name's Undyne. Nice t'meet ya. I'm hoping most of us can be friends too. Except bird-face here." She scowled at Plague Knight for a moment, before she began to walk away.

"Anyway, I'm with Ben. That tower's gotta be important. Probably where the head honcho of this place lives. Let's kick his ass." She grinned again and jogged after Ben, easily keeping pace with him, carrying her spear on her back as she ran.

Fortunately, while all that was going on (she could hear the yelling from there), Angua had managed to snag some clothes from a clothing store that looked pretty close to her size. She retreated to a convenient nook to transform and put on her clothes. After she had pulled on the odd blue-dyed pants (apparently named after some fellow from Quirm or somewhere like it, given the tag that said "jeans") and the striped shirt (who the hell thought bright pink and dark blue were a good idea together?), she heard a whirring from the balcony. She poked her head out of the cranny and saw a dark-haired youth floating above the crowd on the balcony with the aid of big, mechanical... things sprouting from his back, shouting at them to come with him to the glass dome in the center. Hm. Good idea, kid. I think I'll make my way there now. She still didn't trust any of them; they seemed way too trigger-happy as a whole. That she knew of, anyway. She turned to set off to the center...

...And smacked into a brick wall.

Ow! What the hell, that wasn't there before!

She looked up and saw that where a skinny alleyway with a clothing store had been a second ago, there was now a solid brick wall. She looked around to find somewhere else to go, and saw that the cranny she had changed in was now a fully-fledged street. She muttered aloud, "Well isn't this bloody amazing." She proceeded down the new street, wary of any more sudden architectural changes.
