CoLC crossover RP, discussion

Heads up, I've officially switched to Ratbag for the day(still undecided if it's going to last for more than just one day)

Here now, fully recapped. Gonna check on some things and then try to start working on a post, though I have a feeling it'll take a while; I'm feeling a little writer's blocked at the moment.

Once again just in case it might be my only post for tonight, I'm gonna go ahead and mention that tomorrow I should of course be on much, much earlier since it's an early shift and somewhat short. I can't be certain how much earlier since I might need a nap afterward, but it should be many hours.

Also I want to go ahead and give a heads up on my upcoming week to you guys, because it's a doozey for me; my personal schedule is pretty much screwed until like, next Thursday.

As a quick reminder: Tomorrow, that is Saturday, and Sunday, I have a relatively short early shift and moderate early shift respectively. Monday I have an even shorter early shift, but I have a doctor appointment a while after that. Tuesday I have a somewhat long early shift. Wednesday I have the day off of work, but I have an early dentist appointment to go to. Thursday is a relatively short early shift. Next Friday is a moderate evening shift, then I have the Saturday after that off, and then a relatively short early shift that Sunday.

So yeah, while nothing is going to impact my overall time too badly, since I'm normally nocturnal all this early day stuff is gonna screw with my normal sleeping habits and possibly leave me quite exhausted.

EDIT: Damn, and it still took over two hours. Sorry guys. Anyway, with this additional post up, I better call it for the night. Tomorrow's shift is scheduled to go one hour later than today's was, though really the bigger factor is how much rest I feel like having after I get home. If I'm lucky I might even be on earlier. I'll also have to aim to be gone for the night a bit earlier too though.

Also for those who care, the Home Sweet Home entry in the first discussion post has been edited to add in Blue's theme.

Note to self that I really need to be careful when I start reading fanfics from the fanfic recs page because gosh dang it, it's very hard for me to stop reading something I like (and I think I already mentioned I can marathon read, having read an entire novel I only just bought in about a day).

But in more serious matters, part of the reason for the inactivity is because I have now been given the role of cook in our family. So far my time hasn't been affected too badly from it, but that's partly the reason.

Also, just so you guys know, I'm going to see a doctor in about two days (Wednesday for me, Tuesday for, I think, most of you 'cause timezones) for my ear. Probably won't affect my activity too much either but hey, thought it was worth a mention.

I wonder where you went Shoutmon. Once you are sucked in, you can't get out!

Hope the cook thing goes ok for you.

(also, poor Shinji . He lost his mecha pals. As you can guess, I was pretty ready for Kamina and Simon to get out there for fighting and I was thinking that Shinji would be close behind......but then RL ate his time lol. So yeah. The three can catch up sometime today and then Shinji can look at how cool Gurren and Lagann are. )

Here now, fully recapped. Got distracted watching part of a movie that my parents were watching when I got home. For the record, I didn't have any kind of nap today, which means I'm more out of it than usual, but that's partially on purpose since I'd like to be able to fall unconscious more promptly tonight. It would be really nice to get a full night's sleep before one of these early shifts for once.

Also, it is Mother's Day, so later I'm intending to go out to get something for my mom. Between that and the being tired and generally wanting to take it easy today, I think I might only be doing one post today, but we'll see how that goes. As usual, I'm going to check on some things before I get started on that, and maybe a couple other things while I think.

Oh, and as for tomorrow, the shift ends a couple hours earlier than today's did, but I do have that doctor's appointment a while after it; I don't know if I'll be getting on between the work shift and the doctor's appointment. I'm not sure how long the appointment will take either, but it shouldn't be super long and I expect I'll end up being at home somewhere in the range of an hour or more earlier than I'm on now. Hopefully I'll be awake enough to just immediately get on my computer at that point.

I wanted to resign a little while ago, but I was too afraid. And I wanted to see if I'd have more time or motivation to post again. I love this roleplay. I love you guys!

Maybe I'll be able to join again next fall....I'm going to Israel this summer, which definitely isn't gonna leave me very much time to be online!!

Anyway, I'm here now and fully recapped. My day's been wonky and the doctor's appointment actually ended up being cancelled on their end; they decided I didn't need a full blown appointment, I just needed to go in and have a blood test done, which could be done at any time without an appointment. So I did that straight after work rather than coming home first and worrying about it later like what was originally planned for today.

I'm going to check on some things and then try to start on a post. I'm feeling a bit light headed, probably since I haven't had anything to eat yet; which speaking of I'm going to head out in about two hours to do something about that. But hopefully I'll have a post done before that.

I guess this is kind of obvious given that I haven't posted in a few days, but I'm going to drop Dedede. As much as I want to branch out and play characters outside my comfort zone, I just can't get into the proper mental disassociation needed to properly play a jerk.

I'm also considering just dropping out of the RP altogether, but that might just be because I've been feeling depressed these last couple days. If I do decide to keep going, I'm going to go back to Fate and Arf and just (try to) stick with them for the remainder of the RP.

@Yomegami: Sorry to hear man. No worries if you just need a breather; it happens.

Anyway, sorry to leave some of you hanging for now, but I really should get going for tonight. Tomorrow I shouldn't really have anything going on besides work, though it's the longest shift this week. I expect to be home around two hours earlier than I got on today, but then I'll want a bath and possibly a nap again, so once again I couldn't really say when I'll be on for sure.

Posting on phone, laying in bed while laundry goes; should be on proper in an hour or two.

@People at the balcony scene: There's two NPC groups leaving there. First is 3 militia guys taking Kelsey to the hospital in the jungle; second is 1 militia guy taking the civilians to the militia HQ in the tundra. First group warned that going with them might be dangerous, since Brother Marcus is looking for Kelsey. None of you seemed to acknowledge either fact.

Phoenix and Maya are going with the Hospital group, because from what I've been told that's where all the other P Cs are.

@Oceanstuck and Truth Hurts 22: Yes, specifying which group they were going with would've been nice, but I also mean that it seems like that info wasn't acknowledged at all. Samson directly commented on it to Phoenix, and there's nothing about it in your post, Truth; Phoenix effectively completely ignored him. Nobody else made any mention of it either, in direct dialogue or even narrative. (Morty even asked about if they should be going back to the jungle, when it was just mentioned a little bit ago where each group was going; it seems a little in character for that to happen with Morty, but if it was intentional there was no narrative indication that it was.)

Oh. Yeah. Sorry about that. When I made the post I sorta forgot that Samson said that, and when Ocean tried to explain it by saying how they should've explained themselves, I was being an idiot about it and didn't change it.

Whoops.

By the way, @Truth Hurts 22: I edited my last post since I realized I had forgotten Phoenix asking about Brother Marcus.

Anywhoo, I better get going for tonight. Tomorrow I finally get to sleep in for a day, though not as late as I'd like to since I still have to get up sort of early for that dentist appointment. There's a couple other things I should see about taking care of as long as I'm out and about tomorrow anyway, so I'm not sure how long it'll all take. I should still be home earlier than I was on today, and should be feeling able to just jump right on my computer. Probably. Hopefully.

Anyway, with that post I better call it for the night. As for tomorrow, I should be home from work at least a couple hours earlier than I was on today, but as usual for an early shift I'll want a bath and possibly some napping right afterward, so I can't be sure when I'll really be getting online. I have plans to possibly go out for a sit-down style of dinner sometime tomorrow afternoon/evening, but I'll try to get on my computer and have a post up before leaving for that. Also I'll finally be staying up later tomorrow night, since the day after is an evening shift.

EDIT: Well, I probably would've had that post up a while ago, but I got in touch with one of my friends who I haven't even really been able to chat with in almost a week; so I got distracted for a few hours hanging out with him. Sorry to those I held up.

Anyway, with that post I'll be going for the night. Tomorrow is an evening shift, and I don't expect to have the time to get on and post before work; so unfortunately that means I probably won't be posting until after work, fairly late. With the current schedule for the shift I'd estimate something like... A whole five hours later than when I got on today, at least.

After thinking it over a lot, I've decided that I'm ultimately dropping out of the RP for an indefinite period of time. Perhaps permanently, perhaps only for an in-game day or two. It was really fun while it lasted, but as of now I'm just not feeling really enthused for it.
