"You can't change the world without getting your hands dirty."You know, I mistook Cassian for him when I first watched. They look a little similar don't they?
Say to the others who did not follow through You're still our brothers, and we will fight for youAll Latinos look alike, eh?

"You can't change the world without getting your hands dirty."...Was that post supposed to make them look different? They literally look like they could be brothers in that photo. Same eyes, their chin does the same thing where the chin is pointy but it's connected to a broad square jaw, their hair swoops back the same way, only the nose is different.

Say to the others who did not follow through You're still our brothers, and we will fight for youDude on the left looks like the older version of dude on the right.
All humanz look alike.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."So, on the topic of comparing Hispanic actors, it does remind me of how not only are Cassian Endor and Poe Dameron both expies of/takes on Han Solo, the two actors look similar enough that the former also seems to be modeled after the latter. Presumably for the same reason that Jyn Erso was cast with an actress that looked like she could have also played Rey.
What's kind of weird now that I think about it is that TLJ has another Hispanic!Han Solo in DJ. And Solo has another "Rey-type" in Q'ira.
Although I think the various Rey-like casting is at least partially a fake out so that the audience might think that those characters were her mother/would survive the movie, I find the Hispanic Solo thing to be interesting. It kind of makes me think of the Char Clone idea and the broader idea of each iteration of a series having similar "types".
@blk I was making a joke.
@Hodor Well....Latinos tend to be coded criminals or dashing rogues. I prefer the latter over the former but it'd be nice to break the bubble.
Still, I'm happy over this.
"You can't change the world without getting your hands dirty."All male rogues are now Hispanic and all female leads are now British brunettes.

"You can't change the world without getting your hands dirty."Dang Kaminoans.
Oh my bad XD sorry mad skillz
Say to the others who did not follow through You're still our brothers, and we will fight for youOkay that's some amusing racial type-casting.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Good. We need more Latino leads. Now let this be good. I like the premise but the budget is gonna be the killer. No one wants another Ewoks movie.
I just want to see a Zabrak again.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Considering who they've gotten to direct the various episodes, who's overseeing the show, and that this is one of the first big shows created for their new streaming service that they presumably want people to pay for, I highly doubt that they'll go cheap on it.
Definitely. Plus there's never been a live-action Star Wars TV series before. This could be a jumping-off point for Disney so I highly doubt they'll half-ass it.
The only vaguely "cheap" factor probably lies in the use of the Outer Rim setting, which is much more low-tech than the rest of the Galaxy and thus, much more filmable on a more limited budget than things like, say, Coruscant or Naboo.
"All you Fascists bound to lose."Plus if it's essentially a space Western then that would fit.
Yeah true, the more remote lawless setting fits this type of premise well. I'm hoping that we see Sabine from Rebels pop up here as well.
Speaking of, I've really come to like Tiya Sircar through watching The Good Place and I'd like to see her in a live action Star Wars role, whether in this or in one of the upcoming movies.
"@Hodor Well....Latinos tend to be coded criminals or dashing rogues. I prefer the latter over the former but it'd be nice to break the bubble. "
Yeah, and issue is that most of the time the latter is just a good counterpart of the former, I will like to see a latin chararter of the empire, just to shake things off.
"My Name is Bolt, Bolt Crank and I dont care if you believe or not"
I saw people discussing it on theforce.net, so that's how I became acquainted with it at least.
