YMMV/PokemonAnime clean-up

I also insist that the page be unlocked. We have way too many tropes like Base Breaker, Broken Base, Tainted by the Preview, Never Live It Down, and (potentially) Win Back the Crowd more that need to be added/updated and I am more than confident that people have simmered enough to not let the page explode into an editing war.

I am honestly shocked that it's still locked. I was certain it'd be unlocked after the new series began yet here it still is locked. Is there any way to ask a mod in particular to deal with this? I feel like it's been locked so long that it's fallen to back-burner for them.

If you want to formally ask for the page to be unlocked, you can ask here. The page was originally locked due to the blowup of that one XYZ episode and that episode aired in America earlier this month. The only thing left would be the start of the Sun and Moon arc (audience reactions were originally unfavorable due to the art style change shown in teasers, but audience reactions turned favorable when the episodes started airing in Japan).

The Sun & Moon arc will have the first two episodes airing in America in early December. If you can provide proof the backlash over said XYZ episode is over and the complaining about Sun & Moon arc's art style is done, you can probably get the page unlocked.

Any ideas for clean-up now that we're free to do so? (I'd say Base-Breaking Character and Broken Base can get there own pages along with the rest of the franchise, it big and divisive enough.)

I agree that the base-breaker and broken-base sections could probably get their own pages at this point due to their length.

Also, there's something I've always wondered. A long while back, someone deleted the They Wasted a Perfectly Good Plot section because to the deleter, it was considered Flame Bait. The section included the dropped Story Arcs like the GS Ball suddenly being left off at Kurt, and the Meteorite arc suddenly getting cut off due to the Rocket vs. Plasma 2-parter getting banned. Could someone explain this?

Like any YMMV, it was likely seen as being abused since you could technically apply it to any story arc from Pokémon. And then they became a platform for complaining.

Though the GS Ball is something that should be accounted as They Wasted a Perfectly Good Plot as there was no reason other than the 4th Movie to drop it.

Alright then. I just never understood it since They Wasted a Perfectly Good Plot isn't on the Flame Bait list.
