Wanda ends up punched away, and is summarily sent crashing into a nearby rock with a pained grunt. Thankfully, she manages to regain her bearings just in time to roll away from the Venus Flytrap.

"His life was in danger as soon as Mara created him, just like you and your other siblings! To her, Azathoth is as disposable as all of her other children."

She attempts to telekinetically grab Bell and hurl her aside, then rushes back into the fray and raises a hand to Mara's head.

"I never liked using this ability. At least, not after Pietro and I broke away from Ultron. But for your twisted ass, Mara, I think I can make an exception."

With a wave of her fingers, she attempts to trap Mara in an illusion of her worst nightmare. Knowing how strong her opponent is, she pours as much power as possible into the spell.

"It's time for some mind games."

   "Well, you're in luck. There's bound to be at least some angry people around here."   

Pietro then looks over to Rico Jr.

   "Same here. But that doesn't mean I won't be able to finish him off."   

He dashes at Chaos Balloon Boy and attempts to land a fatal slash with a Chaos Katana.

Thor looks down at his axe and hammer, visibly confused.

"What manner of sorcery is this?"

Before he can further question the cause of his reduced strength, Dark Meta Knight's clones fly at him and his allies. Acting fast, he raises his weapons and begins parrying the strikes as best, though several strikes manage to land and drive him back.

"Blasted cowards! Face me without whatever Odin-damned enchantment you're using!"

He spins Mjolnir rapidly enough to whip up a whirlwind before launching it at the both the clones and oncoming mines, planning to send them back at Cyber and Dark Meta Knight.

Loki raises an eyebrow.

"That's strange... I don't know of any sorcerer in the Assassins' ranks who can reduce one's power with a simple spell," he muses. "Nonetheless, they're going to need far more than that if they plan on vanquishing me."

He unleashes a dark dark energy beam at Odin before taking a moment to survey the battlefield, hoping to spot whoever or whatever might be weakening him.

Funny Valentine gestures to the vacant seats left by Michael and Goldlewis. "Help yourself."

Refia curls up into a ball when William starts talking.

   "I-I'm just gonna say it. Succubi steal mortal souls with sex. But I don't like doing that. I hate it."   

Ika nods to Josie's explanation. Makes sense! Though she seems a bit curious when Will brings up his own pre-knowledge.

Then Refia really explains what a succubus is, causing Ika's face to flush red with second-hand embarrassment. T-that's lewd! Nooo!

"A!" she squeaks, covering her eyes with her hands and her ears with a pair of tentacles. I can't believe you've done this, Refia.

She recovers quickly enough, though - they just said the word, after all. After a moment of cringing from the ecchi subject Ika manages to pull herself together and fakes an inconspicuous whistle, as though she had heard nothing.

"I mean, all I'll say on the topic is that you do what you gotta do to survive. Regardless, I'm sure there are other ways for you to get nutrition, considering how much you seem to enjoy the sandwich! I'd we do encounter each other in the future, is there a different type of sandwich you would like to try?" Josie asks, quickly trying to shift the topic of discussion away from the naughty talk.

   "I actually don't need to do... that to survive. It would just give me power if I did it."   

Her face brightens.    "Ham, cheese, and lettuce. Nothing else. That's my favorite."

"Mhm, mhm, mhm." Ika hums. She refocuses on the material universe when the subject of food comes up.

"I like shrimp de-geso!" she says happily. "It's the best de-geso, it's squidtastic! I don't think I've had a shrimp sandwich before. Do people make those?"

William stands there now, jotting down multiple notes about the people around him. Before the voice in his head groans a little.

"TAKE A BREAK FROM THE BOOK WILL YOU?? YOU CAN'T SOCIALIZE FOR SHIT AND NEED THAT COMPENSATION- COME ON WILLIAM TALK TO THEM"

"a-aye aye s-sir-" He whispers to himself before lightly clearing his throat.

"I- I've seen shrimp sandwiches being served in the local Taverns before- so I think I-it's commonplace-" He says to Ika before closing his journal and holding it to his side.

Josie, when the topic of shrimp on sandwiches comes up, thinks to herself momentarily before exclaiming "Ah! You mean a Po' Boy! I'm sure I can learn how to make one or get ma to help out with it. She's one hell of a cook, I tell you what."

Refia grumbles something about moms as she finishes her second sandwich.

Her eyes light up when the fact that shrimp sandwiches are real becomes known to her.

"Shell yeah! That sounds delicious de-geso!"

She thinks.

"I don't 'ink I have a mom. Or at least, I don't know them. The closest thing would be Chizuru-san back at the Lemon Beach House in my world."

He jumps a little from Josie's exclamation before lightly composing himself.

"C-can i try one of your- sandwiches?" He says giving an awkward pause before continuing

"and uhm- s-sorry for a-asking this out of n-nowhere but.... what are your guys' uhm- n-names?" He says nervously to everyone in the area.

Outside in General:

Ninten begins to feel weaker as well, though that won't really change anything about the weapon's power, as it continues to fire upwards.

Satellite

The Satellite Cannon's power is not increased by the Huntress' song. As such, eventually it starts to be pushed back more and more.

"Aaaaaagh! Activate emergency shields!"

The laser stops as a barrier now surrounds the satellite. However, with its laser gone, the one from Pseudo's weapon shoots up like a rocket. And even if it can't damage the satellite...

Well, it pushes the satellite so high up that it disappears into the sky above with a Team Rocket-esque twinkle.

"Hah! Take that!", Ninten says... then realizing he doesn't know how to turn the weapon off.

"... oh crap, it's gonna waste all the power!"

Outside, Front Lines

Well, that is certainly one way to avoid being debuffed.

The clones are easily felled by X, but the main Hub, the one remaining, quickly and efficiently uses mixtures of Barrier Chips and Cannon Ships to defend against X's blasts, then immediately retaliate with blasts of his own. The only reason X, in his more powerful state, isn't utterly destroying Hub right now is because Double Soul gives him that much of a boost, fighting on a somewhat equal level.

Alwina, Cywina and Edwina get back up again, all of them still somewhat out of it and pretty wounded from that psychic assault. But they aren't powerless.

They wait until X has his eyes solely on Hub before they start to float up a little.

Bell looks more unsure.

"H-he's the only one she's never hurt though. I don't want to put him through that pain. What even makes you think you can win-"

Cue her getting caught and thrown away. Azathoth, who just finished launching some attacks Giegue's way, sees her flying and runs after her.

   "Stole it, huh?"   , Mara asks Defense, and while her arms get caught by his reverse grab, Defense might be surprised to find that he can't actually lift her over his head. Which is weird, because Mara isn't super heavy compared to her size, even if that size is big.

She then suddenly moves back, ripping her caught arms off and having them explode, trying to catch Defense in boosted, powerful explosions while he himself is getting weakened by the Huntress' song.

Regardless of how that goes, Mara then turns to Wanda, forming a barrier in front of her before charging towards Wanda, the barrier meant to block Wanda's attacks as she rapidly approaches, aiming to annihilate her with a powerful attack.

   "Whatever you're going to do, you can't cast it before I get to you!"   , she yells with an evil grin, aiming to deliver a punch so explosive that it'd be able to break through pretty much any barrier Wanda can create, moving too fast for Wanda's spell to immediately take hold.

But once Mara is very close to Wanda's location, she's suddenly held back. Literally in fact, as Botar has warped behind her and is now holding onto her hand.

"Got you!"

Mara growls.

   "As for you, Botar, I'm not up to fight insignificant little gnats!"   

Mara stops her attempted attack on Wanda, instead delivering an explosive punch against Botar's head. The giant is not dead, but his head is still visibly damaged, and he gets launched against some rocks, slumping down and groaning in pain.

   "Really, the nerve of some peo-g... ghhh..."   

Wanda's spell takes effect now, as Mara holds her hands against her head.

   "T-the hell!? What!? WHAT!? W... wait-"

Mara finds herself standing in a ruined town. She looks around, confused for a moment.

   "The hell? Where am I?"   , she asks, touching one of the walls.    "This can't be an illusion, can it? ... fuck, if it is, it's a really impressive one."   

"Mara."

Mara pauses at the sound of that voice.

   "... Adrestia."   , she says as she slowly turns around, seeing a dark silhouette standing in the distance.

"I've come to put a permanent end to this, Mara."

Mara crosses her arms and smirks.

   "How many times have you said that now? Even during the moments you beat me, I always return, as I am supposed to."   

"Not anymore."

'Adrestia' swings her staff around a bit as she approaches, not gaining any color for some reason. Mara tries to draw her sword... but it doesn't work.

   "Huh?"   

"Your power will fail you this time.", Adrestia says. "Including that which assures your revival."

   "... you're bluffing."   , Mara says, eyes narrowed.    "There is no way the other guardians would allow such a-"   

"The other guardians approved of this."

Mara pauses, eyes slowly going wide.

   "Ex... excuse me... wha-"   

She suddenly finds herself smacked against the wall, wincing. When she opens her eyes, 'Adrestia's' hand is on her throat. Mara grabs 'Adrestia's' wrist with all six of her hands, but she is unable to pry it loose.

"When I said your power, I meant all your power."

She tightens her grip on Mara's neck. While Mara wouldn't choke and run out of air, it still hurt. A lot. Much more than it should. She's actually starting to feel afraid.

   "Adrestia, let go of me, or you'll regret-"   

"The only thing I regret is having to live with the other guardians not wanting this very thing for a long time and not protesting more. Your evil is a poison upon reality."

   "My evil is necessary for balance! You know this!"   , Mara says, now beginning to sound a little panicked.

"Reality existed long before you were born. It will be fine after you are gone."

She tightens her grip again, and now Mara is struggling more, becoming more scared.

   "Adrestia, stop! W... we are sisters!"   

"That honestly, really means nothing to me."

Mara's eyes widen more. She's become speechless.

"And it means nothing to the other guardians anymore either."

   "... y... you lie."   

"Your stunt with the Assassins was the straw that broke your back, Mara. What they tried to do was unforgivable. And you, in turn, cannot be forgiven for participating in it."

   "I-it wasn't even my idea to join! I was talked into it by-"   

"That matters NOT!"

'Adrestia's' grip tightens to its max, leaving Mara unable to speak at all.

"Even if you initially refused, you still changed your mind. No matter the reason, that cannot stand. Mara, you shall be retired. The Guardian of Evil will cease to be."

Mara tries to protest, but she cannot speak. 'Adrestia' raises her head a little, revealing her eyes... and they look rotten. Molten, almost, turned into a black sludge.

"We won't have a need for balance anymore. As long as you're dead, everything will be just as it has to be."

Mara tries to kick at Adrestia's shins, but even that does nothing. Her grip doesn't budge, and Mara's now so afraid that she's sweating all over.

   "... S... s... sis... sis-"   

"No more talking. No more moving.", 'Adrestia' growls. "Cease."

Mara gasps, her body now failing her. She can no longer move, no longer make sound. The area darkens around her. Is this... is this death? True death?

No... no, this is something else. Something much worse.

That command... that command that reached her... how did anything manage to affect her like that?

"Live your final moments out in pain and despair, child of existence."

A different silhouette now appears in the distance, its only visible trait being that it has 3 eyes, and a face that looks like it's melting, made out of that same black goop. Mara, upon seeing it, does not know what it is, never having seen this thing before... yet fear fully overtakes her, as if by primal instinct. As if she was meant to fear this thing.

Adrestia... what had it done to Adrestia!?

'Adrestia' begins to laugh demonically, her voice distorting until it sounds like something no being should ever make.

The creature now raises a single hand, aimed at Mara's face, and utters out one last command before it shoots forward, reaching Mara in a single second.

"End."

Mara seemingly goes catatonic on the battlefield, the only movements her body makes being periodical, brief shakes. Her claws are so deep in her face that she would be drawing out blood if she were a human. She just... stares without really focusing on anything. The only sounds that escape her are soft, shrill sounds that somehow manage to sound a bit disturbing. Those sounds, while ever so soft, wouldn't sound like anything anyone here has heard before. It's almost as if she's begging in some unknown language.

Tobduk doesn't attack, opting to save his energy for now, figuring that the others will have it handled.

And they do.

Majima's swing destroys what's left of Chaos Balloon Boy's head, and Pietro's slash cleaves his body in half. When the halves fall, the impact of it hitting the rocks breaks what's left.

Chaos Balloon Boy is no more.

Rico Jr stops casting his spell and smirks.

"One enemy down!"

"Don't let your guard down. We are still surrounded and being weakened somehow. My guess it's the haunting song that's being sung.", Tobduk says.

The Darklings get pushed back further, while Jackblack doesn't seem to be breaking a sweat.

   "That song..."   , Weber realizes.    "Oh, you're playing dirty, are you?"   

He grins.

   "Two can play it that game, boy!"   

Weber spreads his arms, suddenly unleashing a dark fury of winds that catches Jackblack by surprise. It doesn't take him out, but it does send him flying a far amount.

With his attack gone, the Darklings collapse from exhaustion. Weber looks at them.

   "Crap. Best get them to safety before they die. ... and hopefully Rico Jr didn't see me breaking the rules just now."   

Weber warps himself and his Darklings to safety, leaving Jackblack to look around searching for them. Once he's sure that they're gone, he seeks out a target, then spots Chaos Balloon Boy's destruction.

   "I guess they will do."

"Blasphemous talk! Ashera is the Goddess of my home!", the Black Knight says.

"As for my armor, it was a gift. I may not like it all the time, but it's still a divine gift all the same."

He then shakes his head.

"I am a warrior from the past, summoned through a card that the Assassins possess. They own the card, and therefore me. My morals do not matter in this regard."

Oden would easily be able to find the hidden Huntress.

And when he launches himself forward, the Black Knight does not realize the ploy he's about to use, simply raising his blade.

"It is useless. This will be the end-"

And he is right, because Oden's Nitoryu does bypass his armor, and therefore the blessing. The Black Knight lets out a shocked gasp, feeling his chest impaled.

"... w... well played, warrior. I will remember your skill.", he says before falling over, disappearing. There's no card on the ground after though, so one of the Assassins must have it.

Nevertheless, this leaves Oden free to go after the Huntress. But as he's headed towards her, the Hunter suddenly jumps in front of him, attempting to do a silent surprise attack and stab him through the shoulder with a sword that can cut through him, if only because it's extraordinarily sharp.

Outside, Mountains

Porter, sensing the increase in power in his opponent, creates a barrier dome around himself in an attempt to block Azrael's attacks. However, the aerial horizontal sweep kick manages to break through, surprising Porter enough that he momentarily panics due to a lack of combat experience, and he starts launching some lasers without really specifically aiming at Azrael.

Tyler moves in to bind Axonn to the ground as well, both him and Helryx now trapped.

"How cheap."

"Fey don't care about what you consider cheap, miss.", Tyler smirks. "But it's nothing personal. So if you survive this fight, don't feel afraid to come by our shop and buy things~"

"... are you seriously advertising to us?"

"What, you'd rather I kill you?", Tyler asks.

"If the alternative is your commercials, then perhaps.", Axonn snarks.

Tom rebalances himself and sends small, Will-o-the-wisp flames at Krakua to knock him back. With Krakua unfocused, Tom starts playing the flute again to take control over his body with his music...

However, he then gets blasted back down by Trinuma, freeing Krakua in the process.

"Thank you.", Krakua says, now landing again since the dust's power is wearing off.

The EXO-Toa lands too, but a stray laser from Porter knocks it off the mountain and into the ocean. Krakua just puts his hand on his head and groans.

"Well, that was a waste and a half."

Andropov dodges Lloyd's attack skillfully thanks to his experience and skills as a soldier, then grabs a gun of his own and fires it at Lloyd.

Luckily, EVE moves her hand to block the shot, but this does result in Alubujem winning their power struggle. As such, it knocks EVE over, and she can just barely hold onto Lloyd in time to assure he won't hit the water too hard.

Lloyd survives, but EVE ends up in the water, slowly starting to sink. Andropov jumps down on EVE's chassis and crosses his arms.

"Impressive robot. But it can't save you again."

"Maybe I won't need saving.", Lloyd says, feeling nervous but trying not to let it show.

Andropov just grins, then notices the Satellite being launched up.

"... huh. Eh, one of his robots will probably save him.", he mutters.

Outside, Back Lines

Odin recoils rather badly upon being hit by the dark beam head-on. Seems it shares Chimera's weakness to darkness.

   "I like your attitude. You would've made a good addition to my empire if I still had it."   , Tuyet says before raising her hands, the waves near the backlines beginning to rise.

   "Now hold your breath, meat bags, because I doubt you'll want to drown."   

General Logi slowly gets back up, but immediately has to defend himself from Teddy's katana. With Logi occupied and Tuyet raising the water, Loki would have to distract Odin for a bit.

Mr. L tries to counter with a fireball from his hand, but Sagat's attack, even when he's weakened due to the Huntress' song, is still more powerful than a mere little ball of flames. As such, Mr. L gets hit in the face again, stumbling back a bit and holding his nose.

   "Agh, why always the face!?"

Cyber dodges Bahamut KAI's pillars thanks to his speed and agility, but a good bunch of the DMK clones shatter the moment the pillar-sized waves strike them.

Cyber now sees Mechagodzilla in the distance.

"You've got to be fucking kidding me. They have two monsters and a superweapon!?"

"Are you seriously complaining about our allies when you sneak-attacked us?", Pseudo asks whilst in the middle of literally stabbing a Dark Meta Knight in the face with his metal spider legs, the attack going deep enough that the clone shatters. Ouch.

"Well... considering the power I'm receiving, maybe we can still manage this."

Umbra majestically crushes some more Dark Meta Knights by running into them with such speed that their bodies are destroyed on impact... and then runs straight into the sea. He's not dead of course, but he may be out of the fight for a bit.

The other Dark Meta Knight clones get caught in Thor's whirlwind, and while Cyber dodges them once more, the mines go off inside the whirlwind and destroy the clones.

   "Cyber, this isn't good. Even with this boost in power, I'm running out of stamina. I can't create more clones."   , Dark Meta Knight says.

"Then either retreat, or stop complaining and fight until the end."

Dark Meta Knight looks at him, then glances down at Pseudo. And while his eyes are still filled with rage...

   "... this... this isn't over!"   

He then turns tail and starts flying off.

"What did I expect from a coward.", Cyber mutters before swinging his sword and sending crescent laser beams at all of his foes. Pseudo defends with PSI Shield.

A third mountain

The Huntress remains hidden, unseen by all so far except for Oden (who is being held up by the Hunter). As such, she can continue to sing her haunting song.

Inside

Genuinely taken aback by the way the Timekeeper Vahki threateningly speeeeens at them to deflect their attacks, the targeted Hub clone activates a Barrier chip to stop Timekeeper Vahki's attack, while the other two put in Napalm chips, preparing to launch grenades the moment the barrier fades.

Ken Tahn indeed doesn't care that much, though he is still curious enough to glance at the name.

When he sees said name though, he pauses, thinking for a minute, and then grabs the device to pick up. Totally just to stop the ringing so that nobody will hear it and notice he got out of his cell, not because he's curious about them, nope.

"Yo.", Tahn says, not bothering to alter his voice.

Farewell, you of the invulnerable armor! May we battle in more-GWARGH! Oden, to his surprise, get struck by the Hunter. His Haki isn't durable enough to save him from being pierced there, at the very least. And with the weakening effect, he's got the feeling that fighting off this man would take him a little time. He knows he wouldn't have gotten past the Black Knight had he been aware of his potent Advanced Haki.

It's not his crew or loyal vassals but it'll do. He focus and unleash forth an explosive burst of Conqueror's Haki. It's so potent that it may just blow away the Hunter, on top of cracking the ground and hurling black lightning spikes. Anyone of much weaker will will collapse, and anyone of weaker will in general will suffer a debuff of their own or be weakened. He trust that he has worthy allies.

It may also expose enemies to him but hey, who cares, they'd hear him anyway.

OI YOU GUYS! THE ONE SINGING THE SONG IS OVER THERE! NEAR THE THIRD MOOUNTAIN! He points away, right to her spot. GO TELL HER THAT SHE SINGS WORSE THAN OLD KINEMON WHEN HE GET DRUN-OH YOU WOULDNT KNOW KINEMON RIGHT WELL GO BEAT HER UP THEN AND THEN WE CAN BEAT BACK THOSE FIENDS As for the Hunter, Oden turns his attention to them, grins, and raise his swords.

Tsk! At least the last two were honorable enough to fight me face-to-face! I'll tear that mask right off and see if you've got any shame on you for that trick you just pulled... ODEN NITORYU! Oden throws his upper body back and then launch it forward, launching two enormous convergent blasts of Razor Wind at his foe. They'll try to slice him right up!

Wahahaha! You may want to rush to your ally now! But you fight... KOZUKI ODEN! And I'll prevent you from doing that! Oden toss himself at the Assassins and attempts to attack them with a powerful, swift series of slashs. Even with the debuff and lack of Haki, his strikes carve up the ground when they miss, though in a lesser fashion than before.

Majima lowers himself to one knee. He's not just being weakened by the song... he tired himself out with his Demonfire Rain and subsequent rush back into the fray.

The Timekeeper Vahki ends its speen with a powerful strike intent on breaking the barrier, even though that leaves it open to the other Hubs' Napalm grenades. Bababooey.

After the grenades blast it away, leaving it on all fours, it fires a TIME LASER at the Hubs from its built-in disc shooter. Any Hub struck will be permanently time-slowed, greatly inhibiting their movements until they are destroyed.

   "Hmph."   

Bahamut watches the fleeing Dark Meta Knight, then promptly turns and unleashes a machine-gun-like barrage of magical bolts (which DO NOT explode) from his gun-arm at the mountain the Huntress is on.

The Type-3 Kiryu, being carried by fighter planes, has now landed on Tropique.

It isn't doing anything yet, though...

"M-dub?"

It's Ruby! She sounds... not exactly calm.

"What's the situation in that base!? It's under attack! Are you... did you break out? Are you alone? Is anyone hurt?"

Front Lines

Defense puts up his guard, tanking the explosions. By the time he's able to see her again, Mara's gone catatonic.

He stares, a mix of contempt and sadness washed over his face.

Defense: "What... What the hell did this?"

He takes a glance back at Wanda before looking at Mara again.

Defense: "I guess that's one way to go..."

X grows another eye where his left ear was, spotting the disciples getting up.

The eye blinks at them, X stretching out one arm and firing bolts of magic at them, quickly dropping single lines of tetrominoes.

With his actual face, he smiles an evil smile at Hub.

Only one Majinn remains, the rest dying or returning to X (but not his ears). Instead of retaliating against Hub, it hears Oden's yells and zooms to the Huntress, trying to bombard her with spooky imagery before bombarding her with eye lasers!

Back Lines

Azrael swings his shirt at Porter hard enough to count as a weapon, before dashing in and going for a one-handed overhand punch!

Sagat tries to rub his eyes, shooting out Tiger Shots in an attempt to keep his distance while he recovers.

Gesturing to the open snack basket, Josie replies "You don't need to ask to have a sandwich! Just take one! Also, as I said earlier, the name's Josephine, but I go by Josie."

Not really knowing what else to say, she idly begins wiggling her tentacles around without a care in the world.

Wanda actually does a double take at the sight of Mara's catatonic state, surprised that her illusion had been that effective against the Divine Guardian of Evil herself. She looks down at her hands for a moment before running over to the downed Botar.

"A-Are you alright, Botar? That blow looked like it took a lot out of you."

Breathing a heavy sigh after Chaos Balloon Boy's demise, Pietro moves to help Majima to his feet.

   "You're not looking so good. Think you can still make it to who I think you're here for?"    he inquires.

Thor begins deflecting the barrage of crescent beams with swings of Mjolnir and Stormbringer. Once the opportunity presents itself, he tosses his legendary hammer into the air and smacks it towards Cyber with his axe.

"For Asgard!"

He looks up to see the cannon defeat the Assassins' satellite in a Beam-O-War, then offers Pseudo a grin.

"Remind me to thank whoever forged that weapon, Pseudo!" he says. "If I didn't know any better, I'd assume it was created by the dwarves of Nidavellir themselves."

Loki smirks at Tuyet.

"My, my, was that genuine praise I just heard from you? Perhaps I ought to inform the historians of this momentous occasion," he remarks. "That being said, I suppose there's something admirable about your unflappable confidence."

"Er, I go by Ika Musume (Squid Girl). ... Does that count as a name, or is it more of a tidal de-geso?"

"My friends just call me Ika-chan, though. Or Eiko sometimes calls me 'shrimpy'."

William writes all of their names down on his journal before taking a quick breath.

"N-Not to seem ill intent I'll also share my name, th-that being William, The person in my head who caused that outburst a few moments ago is named Marvin-

"it's so tempting to stay in your head just to confuse the shit out of them buuut this'll affect me to soooo..."

William's chest makes a noise that sounds like an entirely different person clearing his throat as his armor opened up from behind and another blue haired person floated out.

Marvin sighs "Yeah yeah pleased to meet all of you at least you didn't fucking stab him on sight like last time he tried talking to someone"

Mentally jotting down the names of her new friends again, Josie gives a grin despite her utter confusion at Marvin and his comments. "I mean, as long as he doesn't hurt the harbor or any of the workers there, I have no reason to harm him."

Abandoned military base

Tatsuya drives up to the base in a stolen car, Maya, Eikichi, and Katsuya are all with him. He stops the car, turns off the engine, and exits the vehicle, as the others follow.

Katsuya is quick to ask his younger brother "Tatsuya, you've spent months looking for this place after you got that message. Mind telling me why it's so important?"

Tatsuya flicks his lighter, as he sighs, saying "If this is the right place, You'll see once we're inside"

Tatsuya casually walks into the base, past abandoned posts, deactivated turrets, abandoned tanks... over to a small building, with an odd... hole, crackling with energy. Down below, lights are still on, but other than the buzzing of electricity, it's silent.

Tatsuya, following the message's instructions, steps in, and relaxes his body, slowly floating down the gravity lift as his companions follow him, taking the first right, having Apollo pry open the door he lacks access to.

And behind that door is a hangar. And in that hangar... is An XCOM Jet.

The tormentor.

Tatsuya smiles, as he simply says "Seems rumors can still be true here, too."

Ninten quickly tries to think of which buttons would be most likely to turn the weapon off.

"Why does every button look the freaking same!?"

Outside, Front Lines

"Oh no, not this again! Girls!", Cywina says, the three now holding their hands forward and merging their magic to create a portal that catches X's projectiles.

   "Well, you're freaking creepy."   , Hub says to X, grinning as well. He then inserts 3 chips into his arm, preparing for a Program Advance, though he doesn't really attack yet.

   "Do me a favor and sate my curiosity. What's a demonic creature like you doing working for the 'good guys'?"   

Regardless of if X answers him or not, a Hub clone runs up to the original.

   "We have a problem. Mara's just standing still right now."   

   "Wha?"   , Hub asks, glancing in her direction. Then he also sees X's attack towards the Huntress' location and just points at it.

The clone, activating Roll Soul, now skates after the attack, actually managing to surpass it and move in front of it to take the attack in the Huntress' stead.

Azathoth blinks as he reaches Bell. Even though he can't see, he can sense that something is wrong.

"Mother? Bell, I think Mother is in trouble. She feels off."

Bell actually remains silent, watching like she's unsure on what to do right now. The only thing she knows to do for sure is to keep Azathoth close to her.

Botar glances at Wanda with one eye, the other forcefully closed due to the damage on that side of his head.

"I... I will be al-", he says as he starts to get up, but then he winces and drops back to the ground.

"Never mind... perhaps not.", he groans. He keeps his functional eye on Wanda.

"Well... regardless, keep your focus on the fight. I do not know if they survived the move to Metru Nui, but I am not the only one of my kind. As such, even if I die here, I can potentially be replaced.", he says, as if already being sure that the Assassins will use this opportunity to kill him.

"You, on the other hand, cannot be replaced. Keep yourself safe and do not turn your back on the fight. Mara may not be a threat at the moment, but she is not the only enemy here-"

Botar winces again, his head glowing for a brief second.

Mara's state of being doesn't seem to change.

"I'm going to check in on Wallace. Can you and Pietro handle things outside for a bit?", Rico Jr asks Tobduk, who is about to respond, but then suddenly launches a beam of light right past Pietro and Majima, hitting something behind them.

   "Keh. You noticed."   , Jackblack says, glaring as he rubs his cheek, where he'd gotten hit.

   "But it won't do you much good now."   

He starts spinning his staff above his head, beginning to kick up a powerful blizzard that's aiming to engulf Pietro, Majima, Rico Jr and Tobduk.

The Hunter is blown away, but skillfully lands on his feet again, narrowing his eyes and snarling. Oden may be surprised to see that the Hunter does not seem to suffer any negative side-effects, meaning that he is most likely on Oden's level of power too.

The Hunter's eyes then widen in a glare. However, it's not because Oden revealed the Huntress' location... but rather because he insulted her singing. The Hunter becomes enraged, charging forward and jumping over the Nitoryu winds before attempting to strike from above, aiming to bring his blade down on Oden's head. His attack meets Oden's slashes though, the big attack and the multiple smaller attacks cancelling each other out, and while his attack did not have the intended lethal effect, the clash would prevent Oden from going after the other Assassins for the time being.

"..."

Deadly silent as ever, the Hunter switches blades, now having one with a chain connected to it. The Hunter swings it in front of himself, sending the chain towards Oden in the process and aiming to strike him in the face and break his skull with the attack.

Outside, Mountains

Porter brings out a metal spider leg, using it to block the shirt. However, Azrael then finally lands a serious blow with his overhand punch, knocking Porter into the side of the mountain.

"You...", he begins to say, but then he notices Mara's state by pure chance. He looks horrified now.

"What kind of monsters could turn that monster catatonic!?"

Flight overtakes fight again, and Porter blasts the ground in front of him to kick up smoke and debris, using it to hide himself from Azrael.

Tom flies back up again, now flying alongside Tyler. The two bring out a pair of violins and begin to play.

Upon hitting a particular note, a very powerful magical shockwave is unleashed, sending Helryx, Axonn, Krakua and Trinuma flying off of the mountain and into the water down below.

"We should've done this from the start."

"Guess so. But that wouldn't be much fun."

"I cannot argue with that. Let's clean up the rest of them."

"Right behind you."

They both turn to look at Azrael.

Andropov is about to move to attack Lloyd, but then pauses when he happens to notice Mara's state from afar.

"W... what the hell?", he asks, shocked at the thought of something being able to make Mara turn out like that.

Lloyd immediately takes advantage of this, pointing at Alubujem. EVE, even though she's still in the process of sinking, now reaches out with her hand and grabs Alubujem, trapping both it and Andropov into place.

"S... son of a..."

"Told you I'd be fine.", Lloyd smirks.

Outside, Back Lines

Despite her usual attitude, Tuyet does show a smirk at Loki's returned compliment.

Odin dodges Loki's attack this time, about to move in to attack Loki while Teddy keeps General Logi at bay.

Then, however, the waves start moving towards the group, and one crashes into Odin, knocking it down to the ground.

Teddy, now seeing a chance to do good damage, pushes Logi back and runs to Odin, grabbing the giant shadow by his arm.

   "Is he seriously trying to lift that thing up? That's impossible."   , Tuyet says, drawing a blade of her own.

But then she pauses, because Odin is actually moving due to Teddy's strength.

"Let me tell you somethin', Toa! It's advice for my friends and a warning to my enemies! I've said it before, and I'll say it again and again!", Teddy says, now actually lifting Odin up.

"If a man yells loud enough..."

He then freaking chokeslams Odin onto the ground.

"HE CAN DO ANYTHING!"

Tuyet stares in shock and disbelief for a moment, genuinely not knowing what to say to this.

As for General Logi, he's now on the ground due to the damage, and he's having a hard time getting back up. It shouldn't be too much longer before he's defeated now.

Mr. L has an easier time now that Sagat is temporarily blinded. He then uses some genuinely acrobatic skills to close the distance between them, crouching under him once he's in front of him, then unleashing a genuinely potent uppercut punch, the impact potentially enough to send Sagat flying.

Cyber is unable to dodge this time, doing his best to shield himself instead before getting struck by Mjolnir, now crashing into the ground as a result. Mainly because he's not all that defensive, so getting hit by a smacked Mjolnir like that is going to hurt.

Pseudo takes a moment to catch his metaphorical breath, then glances at the cannon too.

"I'll, uh... thank them in your stead.", he comments.

Cyber still gets back up though, but he's clearly not at 100% anymore. His suit starts repairing itself a little and Pseudo scoffs.

"I'm surprised your reparation isn't riddled with threads and wires."

"I am not a Cyber Angel, and I am not Epi nor Tobajas. At least have the decency to call me by my name!"

"You mean 'sneak-attacking coward?", Pseudo grins before firing an Annihilator Beam, though Cyber manages to dodge this time, doing a spinning leap before firing a blast against Pseudo.

"Agh, damnit.", he groans, a part of his chest and shoulder now damaged. Though luckily not to the point that his life is in danger.

Cyber then charges towards Thor, attempting to outright impale him on his energy sword.

Upon Mechagodzilla's arrival on the island, it immediately gets assaulted by Napalm-launching Hub clones. How many of these do the Assassins have anyway?

It's obvious that none of them stand a chance, but they may be trying to stall until stronger Assassins have an opening to attack it.

A third mountain

"!!!"

The Huntress suddenly leaps out of hiding, forced to do so as Bahamut KAI's attack could not reasonably be stopped in time, unlike those of the others.

She stops singing for a moment, switching her gun for some kind of rifle, and then fires at Bahamut KAI from afar.

The bullets are magical in nature, piercing armor. This shouldn't be anywhere close to lethal for Bahamut KAI if it hits, but he might still be surprised that it's effective at all.

Inside

The barrier does indeed shatter, after which the Timekeeper Vahki's survival ensures its attack hits the Hub clones, who had figured those bombs would have been enough. They are now slowed, and pretty much defenseless.

Some other Vahki now appear near the Timekeeper Vahki again.

"95% OF BASE SECURED. THREAT HAS BEEN ALMOST COMPLETELY NEUTRALIZED.", it says, updating its solo-going ally on the situation.

"96% SECURED.", another Vahki then immediately updates both.

"Huh, I knew we had an intruder, but I didn't know it was an outright attack.", Ken Tahn says rather casually, sounding much calmer than Ruby about the matter.

"No clue if anyone got hurt. An Assassin came near my cell and I tricked him into letting me escape. I'm alone at the moment, looking for a way out. Shouldn't be too hard though. I'll be out in a minute or so."

He looks around as he moves towards another shutter door, a dark glow forming around his free hand.

"As for the situation, the shutter doors are down and the power cut out. I'm guessing it's a serious fight out there."

   "I don't see why he'd get stabbed at all..."   

"Oh, give me a bre-"

Majima gets flung into the air by the winds of the blizzard.

Bahamut gets precisely one small hole shot in him, and immediately rockets towards the Huntress, intent on smashing the entire mountain to pieces with a physical impact!

"Understood."

Timekeeper Vahki relays that it will need to report to whoever is in charge as soon as they're done... then turns around and rushes to stab each time-slowed Hub clone in succession.

"I'm - EEP!"

Explosions ring out over the radio.

"I... I'm on the battlefield now! Prioritize getting to somewhere safe!"

What follows is a long beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep.

Mechagodzilla is wracked by explosions, though not all too bothered.

Inside the cockpit, the shaking caused by the Napalm blasts causes Ruby to yelp and fall onto her back. "Eep!"

Still clutching a walkie-talkie, she yells, "I... I'm on the battlefield now! Prioritize getting to somewhere safe!"

She then throws an arm over the console and pulls herself up before slamming the communicator into its dock, ending the transmission.

Theme of Kiryu

"Alright, Mega Mooks. Let's see what you got!"

The missile pods on Kiryu's shoulders open up, unleashing a Macross Missile Massacre upon its aggressors!

Oden feels his strength returning a little, with the song temporarily being gone. His eyes glows red and he smirks.

Wahahahaha! Let's see how good you are without any of your cheap ol' tricks!

When faced with a chain, he toss Enma up into the air and throws his hand back, surrounding it with Haki. Thanks to his advanced use of it, he's able to throw it forward to create an invisible shockwave, potent enough to negate the chain's attack. He then rush forward while the chain is still recovering, and try to run past the Hunter. Bringing Ame No Habakiri to bear, he attempts to slice him in the right rib with a swift motion of it.

But that's not all: Guided by his use of Observation Haki earlier, Enma falls down, hilt first, towards the Samurai. The proud Samurai grab the sword a second after his first strike and, without any pause, aim to land a diagonal slice on the Hunter's back, aiming to cut him in twine with a mighty move.

With the same motion, guided by the momentum of swinging his swors down, Oden does a spin and attempts to impact the Hunter in the left rib with a kick, aiming to yeet him elsewhere with great strength.

NITORYU SNEAK ATTACK! It's because I use my feet this time! Wahahaha!
