That is, until the ground immediately below her erupts into an all-consuming wave of destructive crimson energy that could punch through a star. It looks like the man took the free time to set up a fully functional set of planet-busting artillery.

Callis's barrier doesn't last long enough to withstand the blast. It does last long enough for her to realize what's hitting her and respond accordingly - namely, by creating another, denser and stronger barrier. She then IT's out of the way.

"Alright, where are you..."

His ki sig is still suppressed. The beam punching through the ground has revealed a tiny cavern, which in turn has revealed some kind of high-power Lascannon. Part of the walls of the seem to be recently dug up; unfortunately, this is visible on several parts of the walls, not giving her much of a lead on his position other than 'somewhere else underground'.

And then a tiny energy pellet comes flying at her from a reinforcement. It's him! It's Eggmet◊!

Riften

There's a gentleman dressed in garbs that one would find most fitting for something like Hamilton. However, he's too busy vibing to what seems to be a catchy song, playing out of a nearby radio. He's not really putting much effort into his performance though, moving around with his eyes closed and keeping his arms raised above his head, focusing mostly in moving his legs in a manner that seems almost hypnotic.

He vibe.

Wherever the Great Scientific Alliance Team happens to be hanging out

Eggman suddenly flies in on his Egg Mobile. "Sorry, but I couldn't help but notice X's team lost their fight. I'll be needing Silver Sonic back, juuuuuuust in case he's salty and comes by for the you-know-what. Also, so that my and Al's evil schemes can continue!"

He presses a button and Silver Sonic is gone.

Tournament of Power Arena

Adel speaks out. "Your attention, please. After a review of the first round's battles, and in light of a sudden interference, there are some changes that will be made to the bracket."

"First, the positions of Team Rocket and The Red Team are being switched. The Red Team will go on to fight Heroes of Beneril, and Team Rocket will be fighting One-Winged All-Stars."

"Second, the Great Scientific Alliance Team... has been disqualified, as they lost a member with no way to recover it, and replacing it is against the rules. Thus, team Saiyans Forever will win this round and proceed to the semifinals by default. Their match is cancelled."

Callis punches out Eggmet's pellet. She looks at the cave, shrugs, and attempts to kersplode everything underground with Nappa's Giant Storm technique.

There's two loud screams and a whole bunch of powering up as Vegeta and Zelerie just ascend to Super Saiyan 2, screaming as loudly as they can while their electrical aura build up. They don't do anything more, but they make their frustration sorta obvious.

Goku stays in his chair.

Aw. He says.

"Huh, the team order changed?", Iris asks after hearing the announcement. She then shrugs.

"I guess that doesn't m-"

She then jumps out of her seat when she hears Zelerie's and Vegeta's frustrated screams, startled by the suddenness. By the time she's looking around to see where it came from, they've already stopped though, so she eventually just shrugs again before going back to waiting.

Thor just rolls his eyes in annoyance at Zel and Vegeta's screaming tantrums.

"Odin's bloody beard... I swear, children have more maturity than you war-courting morons."

The Wash - Tournament Arena

"Well, that's certainly a mix-up." Rie says, before a couple members of the two teams reconvene to swap strategies they've come up with each other.

Aleifr, now back to the thing he was doing, is interrupted again by the shouting, and this time, he doesn't hide his annoyance. He stands up, nibbles on his thumb and takes a deep breath.

Then, the Saiyans (and anyone else with the ability to sense energy in the vicinity) would detect an additional spike in ki, while those without would see the more obvious golden glow and spiky hair... coming from the dworc.

"Oi. Pipe down, would you?"

The battlefield is reduced to a smoking crater (and Eggmet is sent flying), and the scientist man is revealed on the bottom once the dust clears.

With about five similarly powered Lascannons spread about equidistant around the original, mildly scorched, barrels tilted to aim at Callis. He grins before slamming a finger on a Big Red Button.

   *bWOOOOOOM*   

Six big bad lasers fire towards Callis.

Oh, what the hell! Even the dwarf guy is using that form now!

And I thought the bargain sale was happening years ago, hmph! They say, though both are nonetheless surprised. Goku himself raise his eyebrows in thorough intrest.

The Wash - Tournament Stage

"Alright, you know what, I'm going to beat your asses if that's what it takes to get some peace and quiet in here!" Jets of flame start to ignite from the bottom and back of Aleifr's boots, and he makes a great leap into the air!

"Flashfire - Jet-" He suddenly falls over unceremoniously before he can unleash whatever attack he was about to do, and he slumps to the floor the Saiyans can spot the cause in the form of a sleeping dart stuck to his ass, courtesy of Lambert and his crossbow.

"S...orry about that." Reuben says to Goku with a nervous chuckle, evidently also taken aback by his ally's sudden aggression.

Callis just keeps moving. If the lasers track her, she'll outspeed them. If they don't, she was gone before they fired. And if they're homing... well that's BS, they're lasers.

Regardless, she then specifically aims to blow up those cannons with precise ki beams.

The turrets swivel to track her, but Callis is too fast for them to tag her. The primitive A.I. within each turret tries to adjust and predict her movements, however. Two of the six are rendered nonfunctional by her counterattack. One other would have been destroyed, but Eggmet leaps in front of it to deflect her beam with its shell.

Oca swoops towards one, picks it up with both arms, and swings it around to try and catch Callis in its beam.

Solitude - Titanic Clash

Sephiroth wastes no time in descending upon the soon-to-be battleground. It's a walled-off section of Castle Dour in Solitude, which has been artificially destroyed to set the stage for a 'fiery ruins' aesthetic. In the background and all around, giant monsters wage war. Beasts like Godzilla, Mothra, Rodan, and King Ghidorah, but also standalone monsters - Exodia, Zorah Magdaros, even Rising Gundam and some◊ Eastern◊ dragons◊ are there.

He looks around at the destruction and smirks, before awaiting the match...

Pilly◊ is walking outside, alongside, surprisingly, Pseudo, who just kinda looks out in front of him, not glancing around much.

"Doesn't a bit of fresh air every now and then feel good?", Pilly asks, clearly trying to help. Pseudo sighs.

"I'm a robot, Pilly."

"I know, but..."

"Right! I'll see you once the match has concluded, Lady Iris!"

Watching as Iris heads into the arena, Thor orders himself another turkey leg.

Solitude - Titanic Clash

Unfortunately for Sephiroth (and the rest of the All-Stars team, if they get roped in), their opponents are currently watching their fellow team's match, so they would be waiting for a little bit.

College of Winterhold Courtyard

The Red Team enters from the other entrance, once again dressed rather minimally as they did at the start of their last match in spite of the freezing weather. This actually isn't that ridiculous for Lambert, who's covered in fur aside from his regular clothing. The two shirtless orcs, not so much.

"Feels like home." Martin says with a smile, just looking around for a moment. Lambert in particular even looks to the college entrance, even though he knows there's nothing behind the replica door.

"So, that was a bit of a switcheroo just before you got started. Are you still up for it?" Aleifr asks, already taking a casual boxer's stance.

"No," replies Ellder, stepping forward, to the surprise of his teammates.

   "What?!"   

"I had plenty of time to see your match, and I don't believe our ability to stall would prove very fruitful against you."

He kneels. "There is no point to fighting this out. I wish to forfeit."

Aldon walks up behind him and gives him a hefty Dope Slap, proving neither he nor Toldor (who is glaring at Aleifr with heavy breathing) intend to accept these terms. "It isn't about victory or defeat. It's about making a stand and giving it all you've got!"

   "And having fun!"    chimes in Toldor.    "Speaking of that..."   

He points his longsword at Aleifr.    "Why are you using magic!? If you're an orc, you should be strong and proud of your strength!"

During their walk, Pseudo and Pilly suddenly realize they're being watched. Not because of any vague feeling to this effect, but rather because tiny round drones in the shape of eyes keep congregating towards them and flitting around them. First just one or two, but within minutes there are at least five. If Rin had been there, she would have recognized these machines - the very same ones that preceded her tragic encounter with the one known solely as "Polyphemus". But for Pseudo and Pilly, they augur the arrival of a figure from their past...

Stepbrother

A loud clattering noise is heard as a childlike figure descends from a nearby building, scaling the façade using the mechanical limbs mounted on its back. However, contrarily to what Pseudo would remember, instead of being spider-like, these limbs are now more akin to those of some kind of octopus with claws.◊ However, there is no mistaking the piercing red eye fixated on him and his sister.

"Long time no see, big brother, little sister. Why, you must have all but forgotten me by now... After all, I'm nothing but a useless middle child, right? How rude." Neo Pseudo Porky wipes his eyes, mechanically pretending to cry, before giving a maniacal smile. "But not for long! Ahahaha! Spankety, spankety, spankety!"

College of Winterhold Courtyard

"What he said. Giving a good show's an important part of it too." Aleifr says with a smile while pointing to Aldon. Toldor's remark, however, does something entirely different. His body stays still for a moment, with only his grin transforming from warm to that of a Slasher Smile.

All the snowflakes currently falling around them stop in midair for a moment, Frozen-style.

The temperature drops another ten degrees.

"Oh no. He didn't." Rie half-covers her mouth in disbelief.

"Should we... do something?"

Dagrún places a hand in front of Reuben's shoulder to tell him no, not just to prevent him from breaching any rules. Beneath her mask, she has a similar kind of smile.

"Alright, if that's how you want it." Aleifr starts to step forward on his own.

"Hey, I'm all for proving a point, but are you sure this is a good idea, right here right now?" Martin asks, as the same insult applies to him too, though it doesn't cut nearly as deep for him.

"He's the same kind of orc as those who spent decades calling me 'runt', until I ground them all under my heel." Toldor should note that the guy is just over half his height and probably less than a third his size overall. Not only that, the only thing even resembling a regular weapon on his person is the gauntlets he uses for punching.

He then turns back to the opposing team. "Before I was the Red, my nickname was the Ruffian. Taking me down shouldn't be harder than any common bandit. One on one for the greens, or all of you against me. Decide amongst yourselves."

Pseudo does notice, earlier than Pilly does, and even in this state of being he's still glancing around now, easily finding the drones and trying to see how many there are.

"Brother...", Pilly mutters once she realizes too. Pseudo just nods once to let her know that he's seen the drones as well.

"Those drones could belong to the Assassins, or Gravitas. I should call Botar and-"

She stops talking upon hearing the loud, clattering noise, immediately turning while jumping, eyes narrowed and focused as she seeks out the enemy. When she sees who exactly said enemy is, she gasps in surprise before bringing out her own mechanical spider legs, taking on a defensive stance.

"Neo!?"

Pseudo now turns his head to look at Neo, his own eyes hidden by his hair.

"This is a surprise. It's been a while.", he says, his tone of voice probably coming off as weirdly dull to Neo. He then fully turns, knowing better than to keep his back turned.

"I never forgot. I simply assumed you had moved on to other things."

Unlike Pilly, he doesn't brings out his mechanical spider legs. He doesn't even take on a battle stance.

   "My brother was a bandit,"    replies Toldor,    "and the elf killed him."   

Ellder looks at Toldor with a visible 'uh-oh' look. Not because he mentioned that old piece of bad blood, but because the night elf has an idea of what's coming next.

   "But if you're so certain you can prove your strength..."   

"Don't..."

Toldor steps forward, brandishing his longsword in front of him, with a wicked grin.    "Then bring it on."
