Shadow nods, smirking.

   "Yeah, the Assassins. Though, well, the major problem I have with them is a little more serious than just them not being the most entertaining multiversal mafia, if you get what I'm saying."   

He sighs.

   "They're real nasty characters, and they've got a few heroes tied up in their ranks, each with a piece of blackmail on them forcing to do who knows what kind of things that they would never do otherwise. And don't even get me started on what they've done already."   

He pauses, and then grins.

   "...but, yeah, they're not exactly the most original, and they're quite frankly rather cliche for villains, even though they try to be intriguing. They've got a major 'generic doomsday' vibe coming from them, y'know? I can see why you'd feel stifled by all that. I think this encounter's shown how much you've been desiring a change of pace, eh?"   

   "... trying something different does sound like fun."   , Sonia smirks.    "I mean to say, with how things keep progressing now, I'm starting to doubt if we'll ever get the excitement we were promised by Cyber."   

"You are the Queen, so the decision is up to you, sister.", Thaddeus says. Leander stays silent, though his eyes show he'd prefer what Shadow is suggesting.

   "... well, I suppose I should think about it."   , Sonia says.

"On the one hand, Madoka told me not to do this. ... On the OTHER hand..."

She puts a hand to her chin, trying to play up the gullible girl bit. "Oh my, any wish I want? Gawrsh, that sounds amazin', but at what cost? Ain't no such thing as a free lunch or some shit."

Windhelm, Palace of the Kings

Within Windhelm's Palace of the Kings, Loki sits upon the throne as he does what he does best: plot and plan.

First, he would need to remain vigilant if he wanted to root out Thanos' potential spies. The half-Jotun trickster had long since grown weary of Thanos handing him and Thor crushing defeat after crushing defeat. It was time the tables were turned on that arrogant ape... Loki allows himself to grin at the thought of Thanos' usual smugness giving way to shock.

"Oh, how I look forward to the glorious day that becomes a reality..."

Next, his brother would need incredibly capable allies if he intended to slay Katre and Troa. Thinking back to the WOL crisis, he remembers the purple alien that Callis and Goku seemed familiar with, and how admirably he'd fought against Galeem and his servant. Perhaps he could be convinced to aid Thor in his mission. As for the possibility that Set's little Sister/Saiyan hybrid lapdog might attempt to halt the wicked Sisters' execution, Loki had a feeling that Thor would find someone capable of dealing with the brat.

Smiling his usual smile, the god of mischief rises from the throne before exiting the palace.

Shadow shrugs, smirking.

   "I mean, Idunno' if I would call a situation like this 'fun' myself, but I can see why you'd say that."   

He smiles.

   "It'd also be a major help, since the three of you are very powerful, and, with the Assassins and the Cyber Angels, along with whatever else might choose to try to drop by while we're distracted, we need all the heavy-hitters we can convince to join up."   

His smile lights up when Sonia says she'll give his offer some thought, and he nods, grinning.

   "Excellent! Should I tell the others to expect a message from you?"

Sonia raises an eyebrow.

   "Hold on? Join up? I didn't say anything about joining someone else. I thought the idea was to consider leaving that boring dump of a group. Now you're suggesting I directly join another boring dump of a group?"   

She shakes her head.

   "I'm sorry, but for the time being I'm done partnering with other people. I want to spend some time doing what I want, not what someone else wants. I'll still consider leaving the Assassins, that idea isn't bad, but I'm not joining someone else."   

Thaddeus and Leander look at one another, then at Shadow, the latter shrugging.

"I'm... kinda indifferent to the idea too."

"As I said, Sonia decides. I guess we'll be taking some time for ourselves for the time being."

   "Sounds excellent to me!"   , Sonia says, smiling at her brothers.    "The only issue we'll have to work around is Cyber not sending Hub after us. That guy can be annoyingly persistent."   

"We can have a talk with him. Without Mara present, there is nobody strong enough to stop us from escaping if they try to attack us."

Shadow blinks, and shrugs, frowning slightly.

   "Ah, I get it. Overstepped my boundary a bit in my enthusiasm. Fair enough."   

He smirks.

   "T'be honest, I can respect wanting to take some you-time. Being bossed around all the time can be really draining. Heck, even I can be bossed around a few times, whether in alliances or back home. Since I know that, I can manage my own people better by not working them too hard."   

He then raises a finger.

   "Ah, well, if you do end up at odds with Hub...just please don't do anything too hasty, 'kay?"   

Smiling brightly, he salutes.

   "I hope you enjoy your break."   

   "You? Aren't you at the top of the foodchain in your world?"   , Sonia asks. Then she looks even more confused.

   "What? Why not?"   

Then she smiles.

   "Why, thanks."   

Elsewhere In Hub Centralis

The kyubey nods, Replying How do I put this, Your soul is part of your side of the deal. You get to keep it, but, I need to work with it to finish the process. But, because of that, you get more than the wish out of the deal. It starts to act a bit less endearing, focusing on the deal.

Dong Hwan: "According to Dad's data, this is a place called the Arena. Some sort of nexus, or whatever."

Jae Hoon: "It's a place where universes come to battle it out. It often resembles another universe, but with certain notable changes to let us know it's the Arena."

Bright simply nods.

Bright: "So... That's where I ended up."

Hotel Del Rey

Dylan's eyes widen.

Dylan: "Unholy mother of fuck..."

He switches to Brown and puts up a wall of rock (or in this case concrete) to block against the shockwaves.

Tropique

Dr. R: "OH HELL, IT'S HAPPENING!"

Dr. R runs off in the direction of ASL, pure panic overtaking her. James and Azrael follow after a mutual look of confusion.

Whiterun

Some distance away from Rey, Jedah hears the Chaos Dunk and feels the rumble of the universe.

Jedah: "If that darkness-spouting fool keeps his end of the bargain, I may not even need the Infinity Stones to put my plan in motion. Soon, the Arena will bend to the whim of Jedah Dohma..."

Data UCN

In the balcony...

Koknoe puts up the shields, a bubble expanding around the lab.

Tager: "So that's the sheer force of a Chaos Dunk..."

Kokonoe: "Something's wrong. Things are awakening, things that never should have come to the Arena. Tager, we're approaching a new age. And if the Arena's this unstable, then it can easily be morphed, or even destroyed entirely."

In the datascape...

A slight rumble can be felt from even in the Datascape; however, one can easily assume it to be a glitch, and it doesn't affect the combatants...

Foxy gets bumped back, but blocks subsequent attacks, focusing on a retaliation.

Chica buffs the Refurbs' Attack stats with some vague magic.

Freddy aims his tophat at Marionette, going for a multiple-strike solution.

Bonnie tosses his guitar at Mangle, catching it after it falls.

Data Mangle jobs and is defeated.

Marionette gets pummeled, but then the Refurbs gang up on it and fucking obliterate it.

That only leaves a wounded Toy Freddy, who turns into a flying pinwheel of death, zooming around the pizzeria in a vertical blade-wheel.

Shaq tries to stop the assault - and fails.

Goku's Level 5 utterly smashes him, blowing him into the air, and in the ensuing explosion...

K.O.!

It expands to great magnitudes (though not so great).

Destructive Finish!

When it fades, Shaq lies defeated.

Crisis averted, everyone go home!

The seal is knocked out of the air. She just can't catch a break from those data Freddies.

Addison shoots the Freeze Blaster at Data Toy Freddy, trying to freeze him.

Neo Metal and Bloody Bunny go for a simultaneous sword slash and claw swipe from opposite sides, but will also be blown away if they get close enough to succeed.

Sophie attempts to catch the seal and lash out with a well-timed kick at the remaining Toy Freddy, though this, by no means, make it accurate.

...

The camera take several rapid-fire shots of Goku's body before reaching his face, at which point, he make a thumb-up and goes back to base.

"Not sure I get what just happened but... nice fight, Shaq! Let's do that again!"

GOKU... WINS!!!

Hub Centralis, Post Dark Hour

The young man looks around at everyone involved, taking everything in. He then nods, before realizing that Vahasia dropped her sword, quickly moving in, picking it up and tossing it back to them gently. He then moves back to where he was standing, and says, as his keyblade fades away "A Nexus between realities... Guess I'm not at the port anymore. Well, that means I have some time off from school, at least." He looks over towards where tartarus once stood, noticing the high school there, before sighing and saying, softly, "Are you fucking kidding me."

He then returns his gaze to the group, then saying "Well, I'm just going to accept the talking bananna, and the fact that my school apparently came with me. On another note, seeing as we fought together, I guess it would be polite to at least introduce ourselves to each other. God I'm bad at talking to people..."

He clears his throat, and then finally says "I'm Minato Arisato. If that matters. Nice to meet you all, and all that stuff, I guess." This is followed by a yawn, and his music player starting up again.

Shadow laughs, shaking his head.

   "Aha, nope! Well, to be more specific, while I'm the most senior member of my organization, I work on a council of peers, if that makes sense. We determine things on equal ground, so majority can certainly rule if my opinion's the unpopular one, which can definitely be a bit of a hassle with a council of seven members."   

He takes a stealthy glance around himself, and then switches to communicating telepathically, as well as dropping his mental 'voice' to just above a whisper in order to keep things quiet, which may seem redundant as he's already communicating directly to the Shinigami's minds.

   Well, I previously mentioned the Assassins' ranks including heroes who were blackmailed into service, or corrupted against their will. Hub is among those who've been corrupted, and we're working with someone on something to help him. So...it'd be very helpful if you try not to do anything too bad, should you and he find each other on opposite sides of a situation. None of this leaves this village, though. This information is too important to have the loyal Assassins hearing about it, which could jeopardize this plan, as well as any others we might make to liberate the rest of those heroes press-ganged into their service.   

Externally, he simply shrugs, and says,    "Eh, 'fraid that's confidential."   

He gives a subdued wink to the Shinigami, and tilts his head.

   "Well, what are you gonna' do with your newly-rediscovered freedom?"   

   "A split ruling? So democracy. Well, whatever suits you best."   , Sonia says.

All three of them then look surprised when Shadow telepathically tells them about his allies' plans to try to save Hub. The three look at each other, then Leander and Thaddeus look at Sonia. She's the queen, so she should make the final call on this.

Sonia then looks back at Shadow.

   "Well, you gave me the fight I was hoping for. I suppose I can do you a favor, even if you're not willing to go into detail."   , she says, playing along. Then she shrugs again.

   "Whatever we want to do. We'll see. First though, we're going to resign as Assassins."   

She starts to float, bringing her spear to her, and smirks.

   "Goodbye for now, Aspect of Darkness."   

She then flies off, and Leander and Thaddeus, silently motioning to say goodbye, proceed to follow her.

Morthal

Skeletor would have blinked if he had eyelids.

"Yes, of course! And with the sword in hand, no one will be able to stop Skeletor and Skeletor! MYAHAHAHAHA!"

Havoc staff in hand, Skeletor followed Skeletor (in some order) off towards the crash site.

Hotel Del Rey

"Sounds like it," Omega said, grabbing a drink out of the fridge.

A few rooms over, core!Tiamat swore loudly.

Eldersblood Peak

Vanicos looked out longingly at the crash of the Halberd.

"... Holy shit, I need to get in on that now."

This was shortly before he heard the Chaos Dunk.

" Oh."

Vahasia seemingly bolted to alertness on hearing the very loud Chaos Dunk, and shielded her eyes from the light. Once it had died down, she stared listlessly off towards the aftermath before slowly returning to the here and now. She started to say her name, but her voice caught in throat.

   You cannot escape your name.   

   "   I'm... Vahasia.   "   

There was a distinctive regret in her voice as she spoke her name.

   "If you wanna' call it that, sure. Hey, it's worked in our case for millennia. Why change it now?"   

He nods.

   "Alright. Glad I could be of service."   

He then waves to the three, smiling.

   "May we meet again, Royal Shinigami!"

She makes a face. "My soul?" Ew.

"Whatcha... whatcha gonna do with it?"

Dahila looks at the school and listens to Minato's little speech. She briefly wave a clawed, pale-as-hell hand and smiles a little.

   Dahlila. Who cares about the surname?   

She looks a bit offended about him listening to music on her presence but doesn't move to intercept him.

   My hobbies include watching TV and taking loooonnngggg strolls through LA by night. All that.. stuff.

About ten minutes later

"I see. That is unfortunate.", Cyber says, hands clasped together. "We will be losing some valuable members today."

   "You didn't especially treat us like valuable members."   , Sonia dismissively says.

"Well, um... considering the... 'policy' you have on deserters...", Leander speaks up. "Is there any way we can make this work without being hunted down?"

Cyber taps his fingers together.

"I'm not so sure."

"It's fine to let them, I believe.", a different voice speaks from the fully dark room next to them, causing Cyber and the Shinigami to turn in their heads towards it.

"Oh? But it isn't your decision to make."

"Trust me. If they just follow one condition, everything will be fine for both them and us."

"And what would that condition be?", Thaddeus asks, suspicious, yet still smiling.

"Simple. Stay in the Arena. That's all."

   "Pfft, is THAT all? Fine by me, I wasn't planning on going back for a long time."   

"Excellent."

"I did not approve of this just yet.", Cyber says, annoyed.

"Oh, but Cyber... have I ever given you a reason to distrust my judgement and ideas?"

"My trust certainly took a hit when you didn't predict Galeem's attack."

"But we came out fine in the end, did we not? Trust me, losing both Hisoka and the Shinigami Royals will not put a damper in our plan."

Cyber sighs, letting his face lean against his fist as he ponders.

"We can't be making a ruckus now, Cyber. We still need to cooperate with our temporary allies to combat the Cyber Angels. Making bold moves such as hunting someone down will give them a reason to distrust us, despite the fact that we need each other for this conflict."

"Urgh... fine.", he growls. "But this better not come back to bite us."

   "Excellent. It seems we've made a deal then. And we will be off. Farewell."   , Sonia grins smugly before turning around and walking out of the room. Leander quickly follows, the place making him nervous. Then Thaddeus follows as well, though glances back once, pondering.

What sort of plan could Cyber and this person not even the three of them ever got to see have that losing four powerful members was not a detriment?

... Well, he wouldn't be able to think of the answer himself anyway, so he lets it rest for now and follows his siblings out.

Vanitas looks aside.    "Vanitas. I'll be here next time, but don't expect small talk."   

The Unversed swarm around him, then disperse... and he's gone.

The Skeletors reach the smoldering wreck of the Halberd with little impediment, until...

"Nyeh heh heh heh!"

Arena!Skeletor looks around with confusion.    "Who dares steal my diabolical laugh!?"   

"The Great Papyrus dares, fiends!"

Cue Bonetrousle.

Post-Dark Hour

Bright chuckles.

Bright: "I'm Dr. Jack Bright from the Foundation. And I must assure you that the banana schtick is a temporary thing."

He pulls out the amulet that he had tucked under his jacket, it still being tied around his... under his face.

Bright: "This is where my soul actually resides. If I separate this from... Peely, I believe he's called-"

Dong Hwan: "Enough with the exposition already! I'm Kim Dong Hwan, and this is my brother Kim Jae Hoon-"

Jae Hoon: "Forgive our unorthodox name placement, I wasn't the one who decided it. Simply Jae Hoon or even Jae is fine."

Hotel Del Rey

Dylan goes down the stairs, exits Brown and practically bursts into the room where the other SIs are.

Dylan: "Guys, we may have a problem."

ASL

Dr. R and company make it to Anti-Skullgirl Labs, and are met with Brain Drain, who was already waiting for them.

Data UCN

Foxy shoots a bolt of lightning, trying to cut through the cyclone of death and merk Toy Freddy.

Freddy tries to cancel out the spinning bear with a spinning tophat of his own.

Chica does a soda splash, restoring minor amounts of energy to the whole party.

Bonnie awaits a moment, seeing if he could strike. If he can, he uses a Backup Bash to close out the assault.

Luckily, Freddy's tophat counter slows Toy Freddy down just enough for Foxy's stun to activate. One team combo and a caught seal later, and Toy Freddy stands back up, manifesting his pink scythe...

Before falling over, fading away in rose petals.

The signs, Funtime Chica, and the other corpses who haven't zipped into data already follow suit.

Wave Two is over.

Freddy: "that was some fucking anime shit"

Bonnie: "seriously, the hell was that"

Foxy: "if our toys ever get that shit i'm gonna lose it"

Omega took a sip of his drink, and dramatically opened the closet to access his Alter Racing Suit and its accompanying helmet.

The Halberd

"Wat."

Skeletor exchanged a look with Skeletor, before turning back to Papyrus.

"The only thing great about you is your volume, you bone-headed oaf!"

Hotel Del Rey

Dylan: "possibly related to the explosion kind, yes."

Dylan grabs a drink out of the fridge.

Dylan: "However, it's more of a "there are officially people from a universe that can wipe people out before combat even begins and definitely has some malicious types" kind of problem. And if there are already people that can shake the universe on that level, then only worse is sure to come."

Dylan: "And yeah, that was a Chaos Dunk."

"Hoo..."

They don't get much time to rest before Wave Three begins.

A hole opens up in the floor in a corner of the establishment, seemingly obliterating what was there before as it expands. It fills up with a bright red, glitchy-looking water, the area around it turns red, and a pixelated crocodilian appears sitting at its edge with a fishing rod. Anyone who tries to come close will find that they cannot pass the point where space turns red, sort of like the edge of its own miniature atmosphere.

The source of the un-counter-able cymbal attacks from before is revealed, and it's Music Man! Th-that is not okay.

Scraptrap appears in some corner, sitting limply like Golden Freddy was.

Scrap Baby appears in the same limp posture as Scraptrap, only standing.

Things start to burn up as Jack-o-Chica lumbers into view, emitting an ominous fiery glow.

Springtrap (AKA better-condition Scraptrap) pops out of another vent, but instead of falling to the floor, he floats out.

Lastly, near the red pond appears Mr. Hippo.

The BGM changes yet again. Night of the Murder Rabbit (Dismiss (Data Terra-Xehanort) - Kingdom Hearts III Re:Mind)

An invisible fishing line reaches out and snags the seal, bringing her through the barrier into the pond.

"I'm Old Man Consequences. Stay and fish with me."

"Um... I'd really like to, but I need to help my friends."

"... Catch a fish, and you can leave."

Music Man simply stands there, invincible. It seems like, just like his attacks when he was out of reach, he only does anything (and becomes vulnerable) when agitated by a change in the music, or loud noise.

Scraptrap starts to glow green as he builds up power...

Scrap Baby's insides open up to reveal a mangled mess of a death contraption, which attempts to snag Sophie and slice her up.

Jack-o-Chica spreads her arms, summoning a flame in each hand, and throws bolts of fire at Refurb Chica.

Springtrap lets out a    "Hmph,"    as Phantom Balloon Boy leaps out from his shadow with an ear-piercingly loud shriek and shoots a number of dark crystals at Addison. Each crystal has little particles floating about inside of it - maybe some distorted depiction of Remnant? Phantom Freddy also leaps out and tries to punch Refurb Bonnie.

Mr. Hippo looks out at the battlefield. "Oh, hello, people. ... What, you're too busy for a story? Ah, that's okay. Lemme tell you, this reminds me of something..."

The seal dives into the pond in search of fish.

Addison is bombarded and brought to kneel.

Neo Metal looks at Scrap Baby with an expression of personal offense, and he tries to slam into the big baby-bot with a flying tackle.

Bloody Bunny recognizes Data Springtrap from the spirit that possessed her. She weaves through the chaos and slashes at him.

"Let's see if you're still saying that after a taste of my famous 'Blue Attack!'"

Skeletor brandishes his Havoc Staff... only for a barrage of bones to come flying at the two Skeletors. Some are white, and some are pale blue. If they try to move past the blue bones, they will be hit - only standing still allows them to pass through without harm.

Arena!Skeletor learns this the hard way.    "Ow, ow, OW! I mean... er... Hah! Was that all the 'Great Papyrus' had to offer?!"

A flat "nani" is all Rey manages.

"H-hold on... Do you mean like... those stupid MUGEN mods? Like Chuck Norris, and Duane?"
