Stock Market Final Confrontation

The goose is comically fried, it's feathers black. After a moment of Stunned Silence, it simply runs off, blade in tow.

Boney responds with [Fate's Eye], targeting the missiles coming towards him with yellow targets, before Cherormroem gets hit with two kinds - a yellow and a purple.

He fires a flurry of bullets, which clash with the missiles, before firing three more normal bullets and a purple one. However, he misses a few missiles and gets walloping for his troubles.

Axel mouths "screw it" and hops back before smacking Flame Liberator into Paintra's steel ball full force, hopefully making it roll at the enemies.

Mickey's summon, King Knight, crawls out of the thrown treasure chest; together with Mickey, he waits for the Terminatrix to be knocked away by Konngara; however, he looks over to see Mickey being blown away and facepalms. Mickey soon recovers, and if the Terminatrix gets knocked back, the duo go for a final strike.

A noose comes down and attempts to free Tarboy from the Crying Wolf.

However, Suicide Mouse is slashing the mech slightly all around, almost as if it was trying to distract it...

Alas, it's Suicide Mouse's summon, Sayori, leading the noose down from the corner of the room!

The Terminatrix's body starts to melt away mid-launch before exploding at Mickey and King Knight's feet. Its severed head, still shaking and screeching, is crushed under Blade Wolf's foot.

Crying Wolf leaps away from the railgun shot, but it is unable to fire back as its hind legs are ripped up by the force of jumping free of the heat knives. As for Suicide Mouse and Sayori, Tarboy is a viscous oozy mass and inside the thing, closed-off on all ends, you can't pull him out with rope. It swats at them at high speed with its forelegs.

Cherormromem's stump arm morphs back into a hand. He grabs the remains of the Droideka off the floor and throws some scraps of it at Boney Mouse, both to block his shots and to throw more projectiles at him. But the projectiles are a mere diversion, as the killbot rushes in behind them to meet the skeletal mouse with a brutal overhead strike with his other blade-arm, poised to blow him across the room with a critical hit!

Paintra shakes her head as the ball only slightly budges. She paints a portrait of the four-headed dragon, Landia. With a silent roar, it unleashes a torrent of blue flame from all four heads, and the ball begins to roll. But it's still slow, too slow to do any damage to anything. "Help me out here!" she barks.

Skippy throws a Birthday Cake at Crying Wolf's dumb animal-robot face.

There's an older man near Fort Greenwall, observing his surroundings in irritated confusion.

Fort Greenwall

A very obviously evil-looking woman◊ manifests near the old guy, emerging from a literal column of dark energy.

   "Greetings,"    she declares.    "We have never met, but I know many things about you and your world..."   

She tilts her head down as her expression morphs into a smirking Kubrick Stare.

Palpatine tilt his head slightly and turn around. He looks like he's caught off-guard for a bit, but he eventually compose himself, putting his hands together and smiling wisely. His sleeves hide the fact that he's gripping his hands pretty firmly in irritation though.

That was not in his plan. Not one bit.

Ah, my dear. I am not surprised... Coruscant is a core world after all. he says, attempting to play coy.

Maleficent raises an eyebrow, slightly agitated herself, as she moves in closer.    "Not just your planet, old fool. Your galaxy. Your reality. I do not know much, but I do know a way you can get back there from this new place... if you throw your lot in with the darkness."

He frowns when his galaxy is mentioned, but keeps his cool, though his voice is just a bit more guttural and the air warps ever so slowly.

Hm... the darkness? What kind of darkness are you speaking about, my dear? he says.

Villains of a Sort

Maleficent taps her staff against the ground a couple times.    "The powers of darkness. Not just the dark side of the Force, but numerous others too. Dark magic. Dark matter. Dark energy. Even... corridors of darkness. The power to circumvent all other rules of dimensions and travel directly from one reality to another as easily as a casual stroll."

Ah, darkness. The pathway to many abilities some would consider unnatural regardless of its... world of origin.

Maleficent smirks back.

   "I assumed you would think so."   

She turns around and opens up a portal of dark energy, which seems to be rooted to the ground in some way. That must be a corridor of darkness.

   "I have other dark affairs to attend to. I will come to collect you at a later time."   

Very well. He answers, seemingly in a better mood.

Know that I would very much appreciate being told of a potential place to go. If you extend such a small courtesy to me, then perhaps I'll do the same for you when you'll need it.

Maleficent starts to walk into the dark corridor, but she pauses and turns back.

   "To the south of here is a town called Riften. There you should find adequate shelter, food, and a stable in case you wish to explore more of the region. There is a smaller village called Shor's Stone to the north, closer to here."   

With that, she goes in fully and the corridor shuts behind her.

He make a small smile as she leaves, and head off. The architecture was... primitive, and certainly not up to his standards, but Sidious knows better than refusing an occasion when he sees one.

Both Konngara and Tokiko, now free to act, rush to Paintra's side. The latter uses [Greater Catapult] again as the former simply does a flying kick to the rear of the ball, which should send it careening at breakneck speeds.

The Rift, Dayspring Canyon

Loki stands outside of the entrance to Platinum's laboratory, flipping a dagger in one hand as he patiently waits for the android to allow him inside.

The doors open up, if only slightly. Just enough for him to pass.

Putting away the dagger, Loki raises an eyebrow before strolling through the now-open doors.

"Heh, I see you've not lost your penchant for... warm welcomes, Platinum," he remarks. "I don't suppose the increased security has anything to do with our 'guest of honor'?"

Platinum's Lab

Vanilla is still napping in one of the bunk rooms.

"THE CORVUS SUBJECT IS NOT CURRENTLY PRESENT WITHIN THE LAB." explains Platinum, as he closes the doors, perhaps loudly. "IT WOULD BE TOO DANGEROUS. I HAVE DISABLED THE TRACKERS BEFORE TELEPORTATION BUT THANOS COULD STILL USE MYSTICAL MEANS TO TRACK HIM DOWN."

"Fortunately, you'll not have to worry about Thanos potentially tracking him down and reducing his prison to cinders," Loki assures. "Because I already know exactly how to make use of Corvus."

"THIS OPTION WILL BE CONSIDERED. IT WOULD BE HELPFUL TO RECEIVE A DESCRIPTION OF THE PLOT AT HAND."

"Obviously, interrogating any of Thanos' slavishly devoted cronies would be an exercise in futility, and that insufferable ape likely possesses the means of keeping even someone like the Maximoff girl out of their minds."

Loki leans against a nearby wall, one hand resting upon the pommel of his black-bladed sword.

"Therefore, I've concocted a different plan altogether: we use Corvus as a bargaining chip. Interested?"

"I PLAN ON USING THE SOUL STONE TO GET PAST SUCH MENTAL DEFENSES."

"IDEA PENDING. REQUESTING THAT SUBJECT DESCRIBE PLAN IN FULL."

Before he can go into detail about his plan for Corvus, Platinum's casual declaration that he intended to use the Soul Stone ilicits a raised eyebrow from Loki.

"I bet your pardon, but did you just say that you plan on using the Soul Stone? As in, the Soul Stone? The Infinity Stone that's supposed to be nigh impossible to obtain?"

"ADAM WARLOCK WIELD IT. HE HAS PROPOSED HIMSELF TO LEAD THE INTERROGATION ON GLAIVE AND SHOULD BE IN THE PROCESS OF DOING SO."

"QUESTION EXPECTED : WHAT WAS HE DOING? WARLOCK HELPED WITH THE EVACUATION OF THE LABORATORY INSIDE. HOWEVER, HE NEED TO USE HIS MENTAL POWERS TO SHIELD THE LABORATORY FROM SANCTUARY WHEN THANOS IS NEARBY."

"HIS CONTRIBUTION IS A QUIET ONE. THE SUBJECT IS RELUCTANT TO INTERACT WITH ANYONE."
