The various explosions and lasers do, indeed, catch the two Asgardians' attention.

"So much for a leisurely stroll through the depths of Hel itself..."

"Come, Loki! This might be an opportunity to learn more about the Dark Realm's defenses!"

With that, Thor and Loki hurry towards the source of the ruckus, unaware that it was merely a training exercise, albeit an extremely flashy one.

Hmph ! Are you aware of the people here ? They'll rush to interrupt us. he says, stroking his chin. It would be better to do it with a lesser audience.

"Fair enough. I can arrange for a suitable fighting ground."

Zero sprouted wings and flew into the air as the girls followed in their own respective ways. Miles opened Zero's chest and began firing off Drill Missiles one round after the other. Conjuring swords made of either fire, ice, or energy, the three opponents cut through the swarm and zipped towards Zero.

The Robobot caused its wrist to open up to reveal laser cannons lining them as it sprouted blades on its other arm to hold all three at bay before shoving them away and firing its lasers at them, causing the trio to scatter. Nebula descended from above with a giant broadsword made of ice causing it to use both its hands to stop said slash.

Seeing the other two coming from both sides, Miles yelled, "Double Rocket Punch!!" The Rocket Punches flew off, carrying the sword and Nebula with it as Zero spun in a circle firing off lasers and missiles to hold off the other two.

Preferably not in full view of your lackeys. he says, chuckling.

Cooler chuckles.

Android 16's body makes beeping sounds for a second. "The Doctors Gero have been contacted. Prepare yourselves for space-jumping."

Cooler's faceplate telescopes over his mouth and clicks securely shut.

Thor and Loki arrive just in time to realize that, no, this particular spectacle wasn't an elaborate death trap or squad of puppets that Dharkon had tasked with eliminating intruders.

"Okay... I would not consider the Dark Realm an ideal training ground, but to each their own, I suppose."

"For a moment, I almost thought that your eardrum-ravaging, red-haired counterpart was being an over-the-top showoff yet again."

Frieza smirks and close his eyes.

Down the walls of the sheperd fort, Samsara observes Ganondorf carefully, tending to some crops nearby.

The three of them are instantly warped to the interior of the Big Gete Star.

Dormant Metal Coolers line the walls, and Ribbon!Dr. Gero and his wife can be seen off in a corner, both in human form. Android 16 walks off to join them.

Shepherds Base

Chrom and Robin are there with Samsara.

Ganondorf huffs.

"Well?" asks Robin. "What do you know about Dharkon's bosses? You told Lucina that your Triforce piece was needed to open the way to the boss of the Sacred Land, so clearly you know something about what that boss is."

Ganondorf snorts. He answers,    "Perhaps if you prostrate yourselves before me and beg for the answer, I'll tell you something."   

Dark Realm, Sacred Land

The Demon King's castle beckons...

Link comes out of the vortex into the Sacred Land. He makes his way to the center area, where Ganon's Castle lies in wait.

Frieza snaps his fingers in answer, and, out of the void,several monstrous creatures emerges, similar to the dark god slain long ago.

Hmph. The Nihil Spawns won't act unless your lackeys do.

The gang all stopped upon seeing they had an audience, "Oh...sorry, guys," Miles landed his robot friend and the others landed with them, "Hope we didn't spook you too much. We were kinda just doing some training to better prepare ourselves for what lies ahead..."

"Yeah, cause we talked it over and we're convinced Galeem wasn't at full strength when we faced him...but Dharkon most definitely is." Nebula revealed, having decided to take a breather.

"Rest assured, Miles, the worst your training exercise did was surprise me," Thor replies, his gaze briefly flickering to Ganon's Castle in the distance.

"I don't suppose Dharkon himself is busy plotting our demise behind those walls?" Loki asks his brother, an eyebrow raised.

"Doubtful. However, I feel like something equally important might be occurring there..."

Who should arrive before the castle's entrance but Sif◊, who's currently leaning against the pommel of her sword.

"Thor was right, being in this Dark Realm feels eerily similar to visiting Niflheim..."

Dark Realm, Sacred Land

Alex raises his eyebrow in confusion.

"Really? I mean... not that I'm not grateful, but I heard you're more of a solitary person.", he says to Topaz◊, who's looking over his motorcycle with an intrigue that suggests she's never seen anything like it before.

"Given the circumstances, trying to do things alone won't help at all. Besides, I can only power up a host in my current state, and apparently I power up slashing attacks, and you have a sword."

"Yeah, but for you to come talk to me and suggest it, even though we've never met in person before..."

Topaz grins mischievously at him.

"You're being pretty hesitant. As far as I know, this Spirit bonding is completely harmless for both of us. So what are you afraid of? Not me, I hope."

"I-I am not afraid of you!", Alex says, hilariously annoyed, causing Topaz to giggle teasingly.

"You sure? Your voice broke for a moment there~"

"Oh, shut up!", he growls, then walks past her, going for the back of his motorcycle to lift up the seat, revealing a small storage area. She glances at him, smiling.

Exactly the same indeed.

Shinui remains silent throughout their conversation. Alex had already noted, finding it odd that Shinui didn't jump in on a chance to join her teasing. As he's about to comment on it, he takes notice of Ganon's Castle in the distance. He narrows his eyes at it.

"Something wrong?", Topaz asks.

"... I have a strange feeling about that castle."

"That castle's been there since the first time people entered this part of the Dark Realm, right?"

"No, actually... I don't remember that castle being there at all. It's suspicious..."

He hops onto his motorcycle, revving it up, then takes off, going at a moderate speed to allow Topaz to keep up with them, though she's a little behind it.

She wants something from you., Shinui speaks up now that Topaz can't hear him.

"Huh? I mean, yeah, she wants to team up-"

Not related to this whole situation.

"What? How would you know?"

Call it a demon's intuition. Spend time around her if you want, just be careful.

Alex nods. Even though Shinui's claim is seemingly out of the blue, Alex knows he usually doesn't warn Alex about anything unless he really does think something's wrong. And most of the time, he's right, as little as Alex would like to admit it.

Regardless, for now, he and Topaz continue making their way towards Ganon's Castle.

Dark Realm

Beneath the darkened sky of the Dark Realm, an observer approaches Ganon's Castle. Wrapped in an unseen aura of shadow and power, the towering figure contemplates the structure before him.

   "Hmmph. An impostor seeking to claim my throne through imitation? Pathetic."   

Cooler chuckles. "That you even need to make such threats is proof of your cowardice. Mine will not act unless yours do."

Ganondorf's expression hardens. He snarls a little.

   "Rrrrgh... Fine, I'll tell you."   

Beat

"Well?"

   "It's me."   

Beat

"What."

The fighters step up to Ganon's Castle.

Suddenly, dark energy previously associated with a Dharkon spirit being freed explodes out from inside the castle, bringing it down, reducing it to the same state it was in during the final battle of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time... while the fighters stand in the exact outdoors-type area where said final battle took place.◊

Cue an individual appearing identical to SSBU!Ganondorf, just standing there, arms folded, looking mildly indignant at them. He huffs a little and shrugs without so much as a word.

Then he brings his arms up, and as he is engulfed in a burst of cyan energy, the Demon King Ganon◊ emerges. He raises his twin BFSes over his head and swings them down to his sides with a demonic roar befitting his man-bear-pig appearance.

Vs. Ganon

Alex arrives just in time to enter the castle as energy bursts from it and transforms the scenery. Startled by what happened, he gets off of his motorcycle, turning on the autopilot, and drawing his sword. Topaz arrives as well, standing by his side.

"What just..."

"Ssh. Look. Over there, that's Ganondorf."

"You know that man?"

"Well, he's in one of my dad's old video games. He-"

Cue Ganondorf's transformation in Ganon, leaving Topaz and Alex to stare at him.

"T-t-THAT didn't happen in the game!"

"Then I don't suppose you know how to fight him?"

"Not a freaking clue!"

"Then let's get ready for the worst."

Topaz equips herself onto Alex, giving his sword a faint glow, and he gets ready to fight.

"Shinui."

Affirmative.

Sparks start to run over the watch as Alex charges the demon, aiming to slash at one of his knees. Meanwhile, a pair of miniguns slide out of the sides of the motorcycle.

Frieza raises an eyebrow and merely take a stance, powering up.

Ohohohohohohohohohohohohoho !

Samsara actually seems to understand, approaching Robin and letting go of the rake she was using, though her hands move closer to her sword.

A you from another world, correct ? Or perhaps some kind of... even darker self ? she says, staring at him... well, as much as she can with her eyes.

Ain greets the newcomer stoically and take up a stance, before leaping high into the air to avoid and prepare her attack !

—

A red streak pass through the Arena, as a silver-haired man, riding upon a demonic-looking bike, laugh his heart out !

Once she's recovered from the shock of Ganon's explosive entrance, Sif twice bangs her sword against her shield with an audible clanging noise, then flourishes it as she takes up a fighting stance.

"Be warned, monster: you face one of the fiercest warriors Asgard has ever known!"

With a mighty Asgardian battle cry, she makes a beeline towards Ganon, leaps at the demon king, and attempts to nail him with a mighty Shield Bash.

Ganondorf performs his trademark laugh in the face of his counterpart's demonic form.

   "A pale imitation of one of my past lives, it would seem."   

He draws his two great swords, practically overflowing with dark power, and points one of them towards his opponent.

   "I will rip the power you possess from your corpse!"   

Cooler doesn't power up since he already transformed. He waits for Frieza's move.

Ganondorf laughs and answers,    "I had hoped you'd take longer to realize it, so that I could see you all in desperate panicked confusion. Still, however, your guesses are wrong."   

   "The world I come from - or rather, the world I am based upon - was split into three timelines by the workings of a magical timespace-warping Ocarina. In one, Link defeats me in the body of a child. In the second, Link defeats me as an adult. That other Ganondorf - the boss of the Sacred Land - is from the third timeline, in which I defeat Link."   

There's a soft thmp against Ganon's hide, and a spark of energy.

Sif's attack did absolutely nothing to him.

He makes two giant sweeping slashes at the area in front of him, poised to hit literally everyone... except Link, who does a Superman dive between the Demon King's legs and fires an arrow up at his tail from the ground.

And the one where you'll be defeated by some of these warriors. she reply, with a cool smile, folding her arms.

Identified. she says, using her position to look out. She goes for a swift strike at the tail, plunging down like a meteorite.

The man take a huge jump with his bike and then let go of it, descending at a very fast rate with no worries. The bike vanish into thin air as he grabs two guns and fire them at the ground, producing so much momentum, he actually cancel his previous momentum and end up floating above the ground, firing a endless stream of bullets into it.

Then, he put his guns away, and land smoothly.

"Fu-"

He brings up his sword to try to block the attack as best as he possibly can and gets knocked onto the ground some distance away from Ganon. Groaning as he gets back up, he notices Link aiming for the tail.

"Crap, a boss with a weak spot I'm guessing. I should've paid more attention to dad's monologues about the 'gamer skills' he used to have when he was my age."

He leaps to the side, landing near Ganon's right, then swings his sword to fire a powered-up fire sword beam at Ganon's tail.

Ganondorf jumps up and over Ganon's head, landing behind the beast.

   "I need no instruction from a forgotten "hero" to take the power of this worm for myself! DIE!"   

He swings his swords down savagely towards the beast's tail, the weapons crackling with dark energy.

"What the Hel?!"

Quickly ducking to avoid Ganon's first swing, Sif brings up her sword to deflect the second attack, though the force behind the tyrant's blow nonetheless subjects her to a Knockback Slide.

Shaking her head as she recovers, she notices Link going straight for Ganon's tail, then lunges back into the fray before aiming a downward slash at the exact same target.

Cooler narrowly dodges the punch, flinching at its windshear.

He retaliates with a swift right hook.

Ganondorf smirks.    "Not so simple as that. The timeline normally progressed with him being sealed away once again in an all-out war, but Dharkon's intervention took him out of that moment. Hence why he still looks the same as me, instead of mutating into the form of Ganon seemingly forever."   

Ganon suddenly jumps backwards to one end of the battlefield. There are some scrapes and minor burns on his tail from the glancing blows of the attacks, but he moved so suddenly and with such surprising speed for his mass that there were no direct hits. Still, it can be seen that his tail is susceptible to damage.

He draws his swords further and further back over his shoulders, then does a world-shaking double uppercut that will launch away anyone who comes at him head-on.

Link wisely stays away from him for now.
