Great, even Playstation is leaking Directs now.
Your preferences are not everyone else's preferences.https://twitter.com/megaman/status/1166364746574155777 And it's official. Release date of 1/21. Also, preorders get 10 extra music tracks: 4 new songs in the music player, and one stage theme remix per game.
Wonder if they were planning on revealing this today to begin with, or if it was still some time off and they decided to not keep quiet after the leak.
Will the transhumanist future have catgirls? Does Japan still exist? Well, there is your answer. — UnknownBut will it have unplayably bad input lag like X collection?
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!I just bought the Zero collection the other day and it doesn't have that issue on the DS, so if this one does I guess I don't have to feel too bad about it.
what do you mean "unplayably bad input lag"? I've played both X Legacy Collections a bunch and I haven't noticed any :o
Remasters of the SNES/Genesis Aladdin and The Lion King games are coming this fall. (Also on other platforms.) They all come together and a physical version will be released.
Now you can be frustrated by the second level monkey puzzle in glorious HD!
Still waiting for a Legion of Losers movie...Goof Troop Remastered pleeeeease?
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique! That's unexpected, but... I'm interested.
I missed the part where that's my problem.omg, the Genesis Lion King game was the bane of child-me's existence.

i. hear. a. sound. So the collection won't have the SNES version of Aladdin, but it comes with a ton of other cool shit.
The (Super) Game Boy versions are included, there's a rewind feature, an invincibility cheat, infinite lives, level select, save states, a museum, a final cut of the Genesis Aladdin (not sure what this one means) with the trade show demo version, and visual enhancements with filters.
Oh and it's only $30.

If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?Wait, why no SNES Aladdin? That was the one I had and enjoyed. :/
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!Probably licensing issues. The SNES version of Aladdin was made by Capcom while all the other games were made by Virgin Interactive.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?Makes sense.
Disappointing, but makes sense.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique! At TGS, a publisher will hold a panel for their "Adult Masterpieces" brand, which focuses on adult Switch games. Can you guess which publisher that is?
It's Capcom, because they treat owners very specially of course.
Your preferences are not everyone else's preferences. They’ve been teasing a new Resident Evil too.
'Reposting from the Harvest Moon thread, but Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town finally has a Gay Option... kinda. It's the "Best Friends" system. You become "friends" with same-gender characters. It's a start, I guess.
Some fans think that XSeed will change it to something less Hide Your Lesbians-sounding like "partners". I hope so.
The Best Friends system has been around since the Harvest Moon DS Cute.
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."IIRC, one of the older Bokujo Monogatari games actually had gay marriage but then the English localization changed it to the best friend thing.
This song needs more love.We live in an age where Nintendo, one of the most family friendly video game companies around, is fine with having gay marriage in Fire Emblem.
Personally, I'd prefer if the 'net was a little friendlier, but you know the GIFT...(x3) I should have mentioned that. I meant you can best friend any bachelorette and bachelor. It's not like DS Cute where you could only best friend four bachelorettes. Wanna best friend Karen as Claire or Gray as Pete? Well, you can now. It's a more in-depth Gay Option than Cute's.
No, the Japanese version had the Best Friends system, while the English version changed it so you couldn't propose. You could get the Best Friend events but the girls wouldn't accept your Blue Feather.
American family-friendly media seems decently fine with gay characters nowadays. It's not perfect, but there's a lot of rep (especially with female characters). From what I've heard, it's Japan that's "behind". so to speak. Their views on LGBTQ characters differ, which is why Story Of Seasons is behind on having a Gay Option compared to other life sims (including its own Spiritual Successors like Stardew Valley).

And with Mario and Link having prominent female cross-dressing costumes, and NPCs approve.

Wait. When does Mario cross-dress?
One Strip! One Strip! You can buy both Peach's wedding dress and Harriot's dress (after DLC). Bowser and Luigi are the only characters who consistently comment on Mario's outfit, and I think they both complement how Mario looks in the wedding dress.

The general consensus for a Direct is next week and here's why:
- Nintendo has had a Direct in early September since 2016.
- The Pokemon Game Freak likely have a new gameplay trailer for Sword/Shield lined up.
- The Tokyo Game Show, Japan's biggest consumer electronics show, is September 11th - 15th and Nintendo doesn't like making announcements there in recent times.
- I remember reading elsewhere of there being a period of two to three weeks between an indies Direct and a general Direct, and next week will be two weeks after last week's Indie World presentation.
- Nintendo Switch Online one year anniversary is coming up (I don't remember the exact date), and Nintendo likely wants to entice people who haven't already renewed their subscriptions to do so, and a Direct works.
- The recent official Overwatch Switch bag and Megaman Zero/ZX Collection PSN leaks likely lead to actual Switch announcements during a Direct.
