Nintendo and PC for me. Best of both worlds. Playstation got some pretty cool exclusives too, but it's not like I'll live long enough to play them all anyway.
A good gaming PC is usually more expensive than a dedicated console, which puts a lot of people off. They're also more prone to glitches.
Same.
I meant to imply both.
I've stuck with Nintendo since the Super Nintendo, and now also the Playstation consoles since the PS3. Both have tons of exclusives that I'm at least interested in playing, and I really don't care about mods (they're fun to look at, but I don't need them to enjoy games like Smash Bros. or Skyrim) or having all my games constantly run at 60FPS (as long as the game runs fast enough for me to tell what's going on, I'll be fine).
This is not the greatest signature in the world, no... this is just a tribute.I think people don't really take into account how PC issues can be pretty difficult things for people, and even more so for younger kids who might have to wait for their parents to fix some issues or take it to the store (I do understand many kids are better at computers that their parents.)
Last night I downloaded some new AMD Drivers for my graphics card to play Hearts of Iron 4 with a friend, because the specific ones I had caused crashes with that particular game.
That then caused a really annoying audio issue which forced me to rollback the audio drivers that AMD's updater decided to also update.
Suffice to say with download times the whole thing from start to finish took me about an hour and a half to solve.
I can 100% see why many people prefer the ability to buy a game disc and have it do all the updates and installation automatically with little hassle.

"But if that happened, Melia might actually be happy. We can't have that." - Handsome RobI just buy Nintendo's handhelds and stick to that, the PS Vita being an exception. Beyond that I just stick to let's plays.
A lot of people don't care about mods anyway, and experience with Minecraft has taught me that they can be inconvenient as fuck to install if you're not tech-savvy.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with? That's not always true. For Steam games, for example, you just click one or two buttons on the site, wait for the download, and you're done. There are also a fair number of mods out there that come with installers. Just point them to the proper folder and sit back.
Having modded Minecraft myself back in the day and having modded numerous other games since then, I can assure you that the Minecraft experience isn't the standard.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book! These days, you can use Minecraft mod launchers like Feed The Beast and skip the hassle anyway.
With that said I'm really sick of the logic most people Hand Wave towards Switch's success. Switch gamers are starved for games, of course it would sell big, even if it has been a thing for over a year now!
Death is a companion. We should cherish Death as we cherish Life.Wasteland 2: Director's Cut is coming this Fall.
I'd be game for wasteland 2 on the go, that game's cool.
Also yeah. Love me the PC but there's a kind of technical hurdle you have to jump through. not as daunting as it seems but still more than most wanna deal with for their games.
There is also the lovely experience of "Wow suddenly nothing is working right at all, all of a sudden"
"Curry killed the pussy hoping that I could kill the hate in you" - Curry, D. "TABOO | TA13OO." TA13OO, PH, 2018Oh don't get me started on that. Especially when you install mods and then having to figure out which ones caused them to not play nice with other mods or the game itself.
Remember, these idiots drive, fuck, and vote. Not always in that order. When in doubt refer to last mod you installed, also Mod organiser can tell if there's a conflict (it's how a lot of people install mods for skyrim)

Huh. Did not expect that.
Will the transhumanist future have catgirls? Does Japan still exist? Well, there is your answer. — UnknownDang, going back to the old-school games. Maybe I'll pick them up. Wonder if there'll be some sort of bundle.
Oh boy a contextless link that I can't read since Twitter refuses to load half the time.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?It says:
"Atelier Rorona DX, Atelier Totori DX, and Atelier Meruru DX announced for PS 4, Switch
Cool though I'm more looking forward to the anniversary spinoff.
Switch's rolling out to retail with a fix to protect against an exploit.

"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."Oh hey, I said Sega was going to hesitate on Yakuza Switch because of the forbidden system. Almost feels good to be validated. At this point I'm not sure what it takes to convince publishers that the Switch's audience isn't the Wii/U audience.
Your preferences are not everyone else's preferences. They say he's a developer but Kuroda is, far as I'm aware, simply Kiryu's voice actor, and yet this isn't even the first time he's been asked to speak on behalf of the game. It's weird.
Either way, they'll pull their heads out of their asses sooner or later. It's been taking an obnoxious amount of developers a long time.

So some developers are still dragging their feet about putting games on the Switch because of what happened to the Wii U huh?
Should I be afraid that their attitude will somehow become a Self-Fulfilling Prophecy. They don't put games on the system because they somehow still think it will fail, which leads to a lack of games, which leads to it failing, thereby confirming their belief?
I mean, why are they so reluctant? Hasn't the Switch been stupidly successful so far? Am I missing something?
One Strip! One Strip!Even if some big developers are being idiots, I don't think it will matter too much in the long run, because other developers have fully embraced the Switch (Bethesda) or are at least cautiously optimistic about it (Ubisoft). Not to mention the massive amount of indie ports and exclusives coming to the platform. The others will either catch on or they will be left behind, not a big issue.
It's either a Nintendo console or PC for me. I simply can't understand the appeal of the Playstation and Xbox series, as for me they are a Master of None.
