That means I'm stuck in a room with either a criminal, dictator, or questionable politician. Needless to say this is a very awkward time.

TNP is camping in the woods at night and they suddenly hear a horrific animal call/roar/howl/etc. in the distance that they don't recognize as any creature they heard before, let alone matching the creatures that are supposed to be living where TNP is camping. If TNP were to stick around, they'll eventually encounter the thing and see that it's something currently unknown to science.

Well, I'd be living the dream that's for sure. Admittedly that's part of my plan should the work I seek to create one day because successful enough to warrant a crossover (which makes sense from an in-universe standpoint as my work already involves the multiverse) as there's plenty of works I'd love to work on. And of course since I'm a fellow fan of said works, you can bet your butt I'd want to make sure everything is done right as I know what the fans want! In this case money would be just a bonus to me as being able to work with my favorite work would be reward enough (plus I'll be making lots of money if I knew what the audience wants anyways). Hopefully whoever I work with goes with my personal value of "no deadlines but still getting things done in a timely manner" as I heard enough of what happens when you don't do that and thus create a rushed product.

The catch is that if just one person refuses the money, TNP must return all the money they've gotten up to this point. Failure to pay means TNP is subjected to the very same conditions that they have designed, one for each million dollar missing, rounded up.
