Hmmm, let me know when they do ports/remakes of Triple Deluxe and Planet Robobot.

I'm sure we'll get Silksong around the time we get Bloodborne 2.

Could they at least port Wind Waker and Twilight Princess HD to the Switch? Twilight Princess should be easy.

Those two are literally the only console Zelda games to not be on Switch.

On the topic of a port of Kirby and the Rainbow Curse, I think that in the unlikely event that Nintendo decides to bring their games to PC, Rainbow Curse would be a good choice to port. Mainly since I could see a mouse and keyboard being a good alternative to the gamepad’s touch controls more than a regular controller. Though I imagine a Switch port would simply have a Gyro pointer

As for a port of Woolly World, I’d be down. Especially if they have the stuff from the 3DS port. Maybe with an ability to share the custom designs we made online. Like I managed to do a neat Koopa pattern that I’d love for others to see.

TTBT, I'd rather have something built on Oo T and MM's 3DS remakes, than yet another N64 emulation port.

Finally got around to seeing the Indie Direct. The thing that caught my eye the most was Yar's Rising. At first it seems to be a stand-alone Metroidvania, but then the title appears at the end, implying connection to the Atari 2600's Yar's Revenge. Rising doesn't seem to have much to do with Yar, but that may only be how the game starts. So long as, by the end, we're hip-deep in Yar lore, I'll be happy. I hope it turns out better than the Yar's Revenge remake from years ago. Though Yar's: Recharged was apparently good. Man, what a weird history this franchise has.

It's being made by Wayforward, so I'm expecting it to at least be decent.

I've seen the claim out there that if/when Silksong's release is announced, it's more likely to happen in an XBox presentation. If this is true, people expecting it from a Nintendo Direct are setting themselves up for failure.

But maybe that's part of the fun for some people.

A lot of the fun of the directs for people is indeed the speculation.

So kinda like how some Smash fans are.

I had to beat Kid Icarus: Uprising with the voices muted and subtitles turned off.

Wow. Really hated the game's comedy-oriented dialog or voice acting?

The World of Jerkass setting turned me off.

Ehhh, it's more World of Snark than World of Jerkass. Most of the characters you meet are part of antagonistic factions, granted, but as the game goes on most of the characters are able to put their differences aside to fight an alien invasion Hades once they realize how drastic the consequences of him messing with the life/death cycle would be.

Also I managed to play 50 rounds of "Far Away" mode before the Nintendo Network shut down last week, so that's one challenge done.

Been catching up on some things after a period of unease, and dug up this statement from one of the developers of Suyu, the successor fork of Yuzu, which has also shut down, but not due to any action from Nintendo.

Once again, the Yuzu devs are idiots.

x8 Au contraire, Kid Icarus Uprising happens to be one of the best ever for me precisely because of how well written the characters are.

It felt really refreshing in an era where Nintendo was kinda feeling stale.

Right. Is there a way to email Nintendo about my fan.

I want to do it that way because I don't know if I can sit around on the phone, and I'm not sure about using Chat either.

I need something where if I have to get up and move around, I can send them an inquiry explaining my issue then get back to them at my leisure if they respond.

Open a support ticket, I guess? You don't have to file for a repair right away if you don't want, though they'll probably try to push you in that direction since it's their job.

I guess I can give it a try.

Sending some kind of email would be easier but I'll give the Support Ticket a shot.
