NOTE - Report bugs along with your browser/version, operating system/version, and device. There are thousands of these combinations, and most bugs right now only affect certain combinations.
Tropers - As you are probably well aware by now, we've made a ton of changes to TV Tropes. Although most of the changes you see are primarily cosmetic, we are also part way through a complete overhaul of the backend code. With so many changes under the hood, it is entirely possible we broke a few things. If you find something that does not appear to be working correctly, this is the place to report it.
Please note, this thread is for BUGS only! If you have an idea, wish, or anything to say that is not related to a bug, please do not post it here. Those things can all be posted and discussed on other threads in Wiki Talk or the Tech Wishlist.
The more information you can provide about the bug (e.g., browser, operating system, etc.) and how to re-create it, the more likely we will be able to squash it.
Happy Troping!
EDIT: Here are some things that have been reported:
- Login issues
- Logins not sticking between devices
- Some people are still having issues with dropped logins.
- You can't log in if your username contains a space. Remove the space.
- Javascript: Your device must be able to run Javascript from tvtropes.org, static.tvtropes.org, ajax.googleapis.com, and netdna.bootstrapcdn.com. If you are blocking any of these, lots of things won't work, like editing pages.

Fire Fox, Windows 8, the page images for National Wrestling Alliance and New World Order are HUGE! They weren't always that big and no edits to change them are in the page history tabs. What happened?
Looks like the code for shrinking images broke
Yep, the staff did notice this. I do think a manual resize will have to serve; I am not keen on the results of the resize code.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanIf you see pages that have oversized pics and don't have the time or inclination to fix them yourselves, please report them in this thread so they can be taken care of.
X4 That's been taken care of.
Images that aren't wrapped in the [[quotedirection::]] markup get their own line now. This breaks a lot of pages
Indeed. Moving all the images from the left to right side is just avoiding the problem.
I'm actually still a bit confused about the whole "broken left-image" thing that's going on. Are you guys purposefully trying to make it so that all pictures are meant to be placed on the right side?

RLLWell thank you for fixing the images. I haven't seen any giant, page stretching ads lately either so if that's fixed, thank you too. Is the exclamation ! line overlapping images a bug though? Because I've noticed it on every individual beautiful people page, unless you count Kip.
After testing that, there's definitely a bug there.
There's no issue if you use a line that has one or two exclamation points, but the line will overlap with the picture if three exclamation points is used.

RLLSeconded, this is what happened in the caracter page of Dm C Devil May Cry.
Still no changes to images placed along the left side.
RLLI'm also a victim of the "broken left-images" bug, only the picture is positioned to the center rather than the right.

Sometimes I don't realize there is already an article and end up making a duplicate of it.Hello,
I note that the Youtube video embedding still doesn't work. Why is this so? Is this a deliberate choice? If so, why? And if not, what's preventing this problem's fixing?
Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.I'm pretty certain it's working now. If you're still having problems it's on your end
Testing here:
For the record, here's the markup: [[youtube:link of the video (In the URL after the "watch" part)]].

Or more simply, [[youtube:ID of the video]].

If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?Glad to know the embedding works again.
135 - 169 - 273 - 191 - 188 - 230 - 300On the Reign page, the image quotes have apostrophes as a series of garbage characters.
Say to the others who did not follow through You're still our brothers, and we will fight for youI fail to see that.
Character info for "Greer": "All Ive been raised to do is dress nicely and smile at men."
Say to the others who did not follow through You're still our brothers, and we will fight for youFixed it. I don't think it was a bug, some guy named Eegah changed an apostrophe for all those weird symbols, maybe he wrote the incorrect code for it.

I'm just going to assume at this point that fixing the left-side images isn't at the top of the list at the moment.
Perhaps a proper left-side image placer exists that I don't know about without having to manually move everything over to the right-side. All left-side images I've seen doesn't use the [quotes] mark

RLLBet it was a "smart quote" with incorrect encoding. I might check once I reach a Desktop.
Edit: Huh. is EF BF BD, which is UTF-8 for U+FFFD, the Unicode "replacement character". Which means whatever character was being attempted to write in there, ended up not being a valid one.
