No clue unfortunately. Don't even know what it is. Maybe someone else can help you.
But the real reason I'm giving this a bump is because I wanted to ask (though I may have done it before):
If you could have any two characters from across the Meta series duel each other (hero, villains, villains who were heroes, Heroes who became villains, etc) who would they be?
I'd actually like to see Jack vs Kaiba (prideful dicks...well, Jack got better) going at each other with Blue Eyes vs either version of Red Demon's Dragon (and that's ignoring that the Manga has it's own version as well). Hell, they could just combine the three Jacks and give him all three just like Kaiba has three Blue Eyes.
And because it's my thing, I'd like to see Aki / Akiza vs Droite / Dextra with the former in full on Fuck the world mode from the beginning of the series...but also able to control her powers, vs the latter during her Protect Kaito no matter what phase during her duel with Tron, and see who ends up with her ass kicked more.
Any match you guys would like to see?
One Strip! One Strip!Vector vs Joeri sounds fun.
What are the secondary ace monsters of the protags? (2000+ ATK, less than 2500 ATK, heavy promotion, may have stat boosting effect).
Yugi: Dark Magician Girl (she may as well be the primary ace).
Jaden: Flame Wingman.
Yusei: Junk Warrior.
Yuma: ?
Yuya: Stargazer Magician?
Yusaku: Decode Talker.
Where there's life, there's hope.Yuya's might be Dark Rebellion considering how early he gets it and that he uses it as often as Odd-Eyes. But that is more due to unique circumstances (which is why he bucks the less than 2500 ATK trend).
I don't think Yuma even has a secondary ace, he mostly goes for Utopia over every other option, but the closest candidate might be Leviathan Dragon, unlike Rebellion he hits the 2000 minimum ATK threshold, has an attack boosting effect and was the 2nd Number Yuma got. But again his deck and duels seem to have mainly use Utopia and its evolution more often than other monsters.

I wouldn't mind seeing Aki go against Dark Marik.
Joey vs Shark would also be nice. As would Yugi vs Syrus.
Everyone vs everyone! :P
The Protomen enhanced my life.Speaking of weird matchups, according to the official Yu-Gi-Oh TCG Twitter page, this year’s scripted duel is one NOBODY guessed–Jean-Claude Magnum vs Zigfried von Schroeder!

I’m rooting for Zigfried XD (nice to see those 2 with official art, too!)

The Protomen enhanced my life.Ooh, I wonder if that means Magnum's stuff will be in Shadows in Valhalla. It does apparently have Ninja support.
Out of curiosity, if you could have written summoning chants for Yugi, Joey, Kaiba and other characters' most iconic monsters, what would they be?
Wake me up at your own risk. All of which is assumed to be made for the Japanese tracks and thus will use the OCG names.
For BEWD:
- "Dragon with Eyes of Blue! Surge with divine radiance and smite thy enemies. Blue-Eyes White Dragon!"
- "Dragons of the Trinity! Combine your powers and become the toughest, the invincible, the unbeatable Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon!"
(PS, I'd think Kaiba would be the type to use religious references to highlight the power of his cards. Think A God Am I. PSS, the pothole is referencing the "Eyes of Blue" cards which are half the Game-original support for Blue-Eyes)
For Yugi.
- "Master of Dark Arts, come forth and bring your enemies to darkness. Black Magician!"
- "Apprentice of the Dark Arts, grant your strength to end this struggle. Black Magician Girl!"
- "Gaia, unleash your true power and become the Chaos Soldier!"
- "Timaeus, combine your power with that of the Black Magician, and become the Amulet Dragon!"
- "Defenders of Atlantis, achieve a force beyond infinite power and become [Timaeus] the Knight of Destiny!"
For Red-Eyes.
- "Dragon of pitch-black. Unleash your true potential and strike with crimson eyes. Red-Eyes Black Dragon!"

I am left wondering what a Yugioh Version of The Legend Of Koizumi would be like.
Russian Winter Part 1, 2 and 3: The mission to travel to Russia to defeat Vladimir Putin is complicated when the authoritarian prime minister counters Yukiteru's plays and freezes his ace card in a block of ice. Can the duel be won?

So, which archetype would you give to represent a country?
You can even invent them.
Wake me up at your own risk.I'd give Putin an expanded upon version of the "Ice" archetype, focused on Ice Counters.
There'd also be a 2 vs. 2 duel involving Bush Jr. and Cheney.
Glorious insanity.
Okay, so I've been watching Arc V. And somehow Silvio went from being an unlikable scumbag that I hated to my favorite character.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with? Was it his second duel with Yuya?
That's where he showed he's actually pretty damn smart.
One Strip! One Strip!Or maybe it was when he revived his third an final Deck, finally getting a groove.
(INB4 we get a card called "Abyss Script - The Superstar's New Groove")

Now try reading the Arc V manga, and try not to get mindfucked too hard.
Stand out moments include a card that makes both players share a deck (LOLWUT), the odd timeframe of events, the time travel nonsense, and the Biblical Symbolism.
Really, it's not that complex. People have a tendency of making YGO spinoffs, manga or otherwise, out to be much more than they are.
I wouldn't call the plot mindfuck-ey as much as I'd call it needlessly convoluted. It has some nice twists, sure, but nothing too complex. It's not like they're going for any kind of meta narrative, everything is still contained within their world.
Youtuber Mother's Basement talks about how the Yu Gi Oh card game helped him during a state of depression in his life
[imagines an AU where Yugi solved the Puzzle as soon as he got it and little Yami Yugi played Shadow Games for infractions like ‘that kid stole my ice cream’]
The Protomen enhanced my life. So, Jonouchi and Honda would be traumatized for life?
Re: Jean-Claude Magnum vs Ziegfried. How is that even a matchup? Ziegfried almost beat Kaiba. Magnum is literally the only person Mai ever defeated on-screen.
You fell victim to one of the classic blunders!I can speculate as to the reason.
- First off the duel aims to promote Shadows in/of Valhalla. Which is confirmed to support Ninja and introduce Zigfried's Valkyries to the game.
- Zigfriend is obvious for being one of the duelist as, bar Ojin's use of Mischief of the Time Goddess, he was the only user of any Valkyries related cards.
- For reasons I assume having to do with suspension of disbelief, Konami decided to limit the choice of other duelist to DM. As such there is only one guy from that series who used Ninja as a theme. (The other Ninja duelists were in Zexal and Arc-V)
Zigfrid did win, but since it wasn't a curb stomp, I'm assuming Magnum improved since Battle City.

He did improve, and seems to have gotten over his obsession for Mai, too.
I like how that duel ended up being The Bad Guy Wins cause with Kaiba nowhere in sight SchroederCorp did get tons of publicity.
And yeah, it was to promote the cards finally becoming real. Leon's fairy tale cards are real now too!
The Protomen enhanced my life.
Does anyone here know where I can find the Odex dub?
