Well that is the nature of super hero stories. It's a never ending war against evil and crime.
The life the heroes chose is nothing if not filled with danger and difficulty, but nothing worth doing is easy.
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult. The main series likely will be done.
And that's when the next series, My Hero University, begins.

I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult.I'm waiting for My Hero PHD Thesis Exam.
Creed of the Happy Pessimist:Always expect the worst. Then, when it happens, it was only what you expected. All else is a happy surprise.Do the war crime courses teach you how to do war crimes or teach you to not do them?
Forever liveblogging the AvengersBut that does raise a very interesting question: in what scenario, would a hero's job be done, fighting crime? Like, imagine, if you would, an ending where our heroes are able to enjoy a peace and quiet... for an extended period of time... breathing more easily.
Robin: Don't ever ask me to dock with you again. Serious...If everyone on Earth has shelter, enough to eat, time to pursue their own happiness, reasonable freedom from want, I believe crime would go down sharply. But that there would still be some. Out of rage or boredom or spite or greed. Out of human nature.
Although, that still might be a world where heroes have time to relax as Hawks said.
Forever liveblogging the AvengersI meant war crime as in these exams and courses should be illegal by Geneva convention standards.
And all of that shit on top of more advanced school work. Hell no, I'm not going to UA or any hero school, I like not getting horrible crippling injuries and not suffering meltdowns involving school work anymore than I have to.
I love how NO ONE here understood what equations and calculations the students were doing in class when I asked.

I imagine if that were to happen, then heroes would switch to a longer term education program to also tackle things like white collar crimes, grift and scammers.
Instead of focusing on relatives that divide us, maybe we should try to find the absolutes that tie us.I’m just picturing Shiggy trying to get into crypto and becoming an NFT bro to raise money when the league of villains are broke.
And it fits, considering how hateful he is.
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult.he's a league player, so
Heart of StoneI still love that basically everyone went "Oh, so that's why he's evil" when we found out that he was a League player.
I mean, I also took it as " Ah so that's why he wants to destroy everything. "
Sure he's got a legit tragic backstory of accidentally murdering his family, and being ignored till All for One found him, but the League stuff is funnier.

This is assuming that Af O didn't orchestrate for him to be ignored by everyone one. Same for nearly every major villainous even that can tie into Shigaraki like the League in general.
Would be pretty contrived if All For One somehow arranged things so that Toga was discriminated and then break down and stab her crush to see the blood.
That's Dartz from Yu Gi Oh levels of contrived plotting. Dude legit started an entire war in Europe by impersonating Kaiba's dad to recruit ONE random orphan.
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult.NGL, it's been a long time since I watched the Doma Arc, I always just assumed Dartz was being opportunistic and picked up random kids whose lives were ruined by other people and used that hatred as a way to motivate him to do...whatever it was he needed them to do. Something evil I guess, and then the Infinity Snake is summoned.
Most of the post-Battle City arcs are just kind of a blur to me. Even the Millennium World arc.
Given the amount of contrived stuff we've seen, it would not surprise me. There's a reason that the "It was me Barry" meme saw a resurgence recently.
I mean, with "It was ME, Barry." the context is that Thrawne hates Barry that much and has the ability to screw with his life with his time traveling speedforce powers. He's also not responsible for EVERYTHING that Barry suffers.
Granted, it has been convenient to use him to retcon away stuff like Heroes in Crisis, by having it revealed he used speed force hypnosis(?) to get Wally to snap. Somehow.
I don't see All for One screwing around with Toga's life just to ensure she would join the League of Villains. Even Dabi was a factor he lost control of.
Shiggy, that's still up for discussion last time I checked, since according to Diddy, there was a manga scene of young Shiggy meeting some stranger who brought him home.
And IIRC, Shiggy was being hurt by his quirk.
Might have been 4 kids changing things and my own faulty memory, but I vaguely recall Dartz wanting to recruit that one character specifically.

I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult.I would definitely groan if it turned out, like, AFO bribed Toga’s therapist to giver her bad advice or something.
The pig of Hufflepuff pulsed like a large bullfrog. Dumbledore smiled at it, and placed his hand on its head: "You are Hagrid now."Right, before I say anything else, have you managed to get back into the series Red?
One Strip! One Strip!I'll get back on next week. Found out what was wrong with the app.
Guessing this trail of discussion is spoilers?
Seems Toga was AFO's new him all along.
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult.I think we're probably safe there, if only for the fact that Toga's dead now so such a reveal wouldn't have any narrative purpose.

Heart of Stone
Outside of being sick of All for One I’m not really bitter. It’s just the talks here about a theoretical sequel series being just Serial Escalation and not much else just makes me desire for the main series to be content with being done once the arc ends.
