Naruto and Sasuke both permanently lost an arm in their final battle. And all the surviving characters from Demon Slayer were maimed for life. This won't necessarily be rewound.
Well, MHA will do their own thing, not copy what these two mangas did.
Every time someone claims to be realistic is a dour cynic in disguise.Even if Eri isn't an option right now, she's always on the table. We've already seen her be used to undo one change, so the possibility that she could do the same, especially with Deku currently disarmed. Now, I don't believe she's going to magically find a way to recharge right now and change things, but it's possible she could undo Deku's current damage. We'll just have to wait and see. As I've said, Horikishi still throws in some surprises even when he does what we're expecting, so we may get a bad case of Be Careful What You Wish For.
In regards to the level of influence AFO had on Tenko's life, which is far beyond what we thought, and how pathetic it makes him....I'm kinda finding myself looking at it as a feature, not a bug. Like, the last we saw this dude, he was a baby, in all the ways that count. Of course he's pathetic.
Edit: Damn. I got badly 'ed. Took too long to write my response.

One Strip! One Strip! Its less about not believing that Deku could be permanently crippled from the final battle of the series and more that he is now physically unable to fight while the final battle is still actively ongoing.
FALCON KICK!
Every time someone claims to be realistic is a dour cynic in disguise. The greatest test of Shoot Style.
I wouldn’t be surprised if Kurogiri knew what AFO was planning and that’s what lead to him helping. At the end of the day AFO has exploited the fact he just can’t abandon a kid(Shigaraki) in need after all, and that could be used against him as well.

Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession. Is this a case of this?
instead of addressing the core societal problems, it's gonna get brushed aside with "it was all AFO's fault and he's dead now so it's all fine"
Song of the SirensThat's basically been the #1 fear for the ending the entire run of the manga, likely brought about by its similarities to Harry Potter, which infamously ended in the death of the Big Bad being treated as a cure-all despite the society having many, many issues clearly unconnected to him.

I don’t think beating Voldemort was a cure-all so much as that’s just the main story of HP. Rebelling against authority is Harry’s thing but reforming wizard society is a bit out of Harry’s skillset.

It's better to wait and see, but based on Hori's comments about wanting to make a long epilogue, I don't find it likely.
Every time someone claims to be realistic is a dour cynic in disguise.I always thought it was kinda stupid Harry ended up becoming a cop and in hindsight it was quite revealing about ol' Jay Kay
Song of the SirensNah, I think that’s in-character, DADA was Harry’s passion. He’d just be a Cowboy Cop who goes against anything his superiors say that he thinks is wrong or immoral.
Anyway, we're not quite to "AFO literally invented racism" territory yet. We just learned he groomed Tenko his entire life to be his vessel, which we already knew, just not to this extent.
"She was too old so I made them have another kid"
Is that so you old potatoface? Not because she looks like her grandma's spitting image?
I wonder if Af O also rigged Decay to give Shiggy white hair. Seems interesting that the Quirk changed his appearance to looking like his brother slowly.
Secret SignatureConsidering some of AFO's other actions, it probably would have been preferable if his new body was the spitting image of Nana just to send All Might spiraling, so Hana was probably too old for him
Silence is golden, noise is platinum. Keelah se'laiCan you guys cool it with the Ochako doomposting? This forum is my main way of seeing the story's latest updates and I keep getting conflicting messages on her status. From what I can tell she was last seen being airlifted after Toga sacrificed herself to save her but now I'm seeing claims that this chapter had a doctor claim there's nothing they can do for her?
Three chapters ago, in Chapter 416, the newsreporter in the helicopter lands and begins loading in the injured, radioing in "That's right! She's on the verge of death! It's that girl from U.A.!! Her name is "Gravity" or something, I'm not sure! She'll be arriving there soon!" as Tsu looks on with tears flowing down her face. The insinuation is quite clear, Himiko giving her blood to Ochaco was only enough to stop her from immediately dying then and there, but Ochaco is still mortally wounded and "likely to die" if she doesn't get immediate help.

Vegeta: I'm back bitches! This chapter didn't mention her, they're talking about chapter 416 when the helicopeter person said "The gravity girl might not pull through". Nothing is concrete.

watch as thats a fake out and its Toga looking like ochako while the real ochako got enough blood to try to help deku
Edited by Deadpoolrocks on Apr 7th 2024 at 3:55:34 AM
Honestly? I’d be genuinely shocked if that ISN’T what happens.
We saw the transformation wear off though after Himiko did the transfusion, the last shot of her being Ochaco's costume melting off of Toga's body and her hair returning to normal which, when juxtaposed with her thoughts meant to resemble a final monologue, was meant to be her death scene, so that can't be her in the chopper if her Quirk already wore off.
Vegeta: I'm back bitches! Also, to keep something in mind so we dont fall into the trap of "everything is AFO's master plan and society had no wrongdoing", lets consider a few things. AFO didnt mind control anybody to do his being, everyone made their own choices along the path. Kotaro chose to let his anger out on Tenko, just as Tenko chose to let his anger and hatred fester. Stain's message still resonated true to many people, as did the PLA Movement. The secret hero corps that brought up Hawks and made Kaina turn traitor werent influenced by AFO. AFO is at the end of a day a very old yet charismatic figure who has all the time and enough pettiness to put his plans into action. Hero Society still let people like Toga and Twice fall through the cracks, and there is a lot that the story still explicitly says needs changing, even without AFO being in its radius. The themes of this story still stand in spite of this revelation.
Maybe this will finally answer the question of what exactly Eri's power stockpiles. Is it just energy and stamina, or something more related to her ability like Time?
