@LSBK, @devak
I might have misread the question, but I just meant that pain due to overexertion of his limits is a universal constant with OFA, including Blackwhip. Even when Izuku temporarily pushes last his limits with Shoot Style, he feels that same pain (seen with Izuku’s training with All Might during the Cultural Festival arc), even if doesn’t break his limbs, so the pain doesn’t happen just when he’s failing to manage 100%.
Blackwhip even at 100 at least doesn’t break his limbs, but I think the pain for using more power than he can handle will always be there regardless of which Quirk he is using.
Also about the one shot, I’m surprised we still don’t have the pre-movie two-chapter manga with Izuku and Bakugo officially released yet. Wonder when that’ll be out.
Adventurers: homeless people who steal from tombs and kill things.I'll go ahead and post the spoilers, open them at your own risk.
- Hawks avoids Dabi's ambush by using one of his last feathers, but the rest are burned, as is the left side of his face
- Dabi and Twice try to double team Hawks, but he outmaneuvers them using his speed.
- Hawks goes to attack Twice, when Dabi calls out his real name and Hawks wonders how does he know that.
- Twice tries to use a clone to defend himself, but Hawks speeds through that too and prepares to bring his sword down on Twice's head
- The scene cuts to Toga and Compress being chased by a hero, but one of Twice's clones stabs him to save them. Toga is happy to see Twice, but realizes it's a clone and it starts to deteriorate. The clone says that [Twice] lived a wonderful life where he was wanted, and rejected Hawk's claim that he wasn't lucky.
sniff sniff
Smells lika a Red Herring.
Well, someone might be dead. It's just not who we expected it to be
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Yeah that's, uh, that's what a Red Herring means.
I thought you were referring to the idea that Twice might not be dead
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.I caved and looked at the spoilers. If Twice really is dead...yeah, Alas, Poor Villain for sure on this one. Brace yourself for the Hawks hate that’s gonna come out of the woodwork in the fandom. But I stand corrected about thinking neither would die in this exchange...I’m hoping it’s a Red Herring, I was invested in Twice as a character.
Adventurers: homeless people who steal from tombs and kill things. We'll see how this goes down.
If Twice is dead, I'm sure it will further galvanize the league against the heroes. Because now It's Personal for them. It remains to be seen if the heroes lose anyone as well.
One Strip! One Strip!I’d think it was already personal for the heroes considering the league being tied to Hood and All For One and killing sand hero and all. And also professional pride in not letting people be murdered en masse. Get with the times, villains.
Forever liveblogging the AvengersAlso, it should be noted that Hawks' real name is NOT public knowledge at all, which makes it stranger than Dabi knows it.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Maybe Dabi has some connection to the Public Safety Commission? Weren't they the ones who took Hawks in after he was orphaned?
Even if Hawks did kill Twice, I can't be mad at him. If anything, I should be thanking Hawks. I may like Twice, but if he's dead, he'll finally be freed from his accursed existence and the pain he's been forced to suffer from. Hawks killing Twice is a Mercy Kill to me.

Vegeta: I'm back bitches!Considering Dabi has been suspicious of Hawks from the start I think it's safe to say he's been looking into his background pieced it all together on his own.
Still would mean he either used the Army's contacts or got someone to hack a government database. So something is compromised.

Wake me up at your own risk. The real question though is HOW and WHY does Dabi have access to such information to begin with. The Public Safety Commission isn't exactly a place that villains should have access to.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does. What about one of Re-Destro's people?
Either that or the traitor subplot might finally become relevant.
So the U.A. spy would also somehow have access to classified Public Safety Commission intel?
My first thought would be that they would have meet when both were much younger, but Hawks wouldn't realize it because Dabi would look radically different now as opposed to then. It's simple and connects to an already existing thread instead of creating another new one.

So like, young Touya met Hawks at the Hero Commission while Endeavor had to be there for business?
Something like that, yeah.

Hawks was also there when Dabi used Endeavor's real name too; its pretty easy to put two and two together at that point
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Man its tempting to read the spoilers when you decided not to.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."If they have met before as kids, this might give us a convenient excuse for Dabi-as-young-Toya flashbacks to give us some confirmation on that end. Plus they’d have a good set up as enemies with their respective connections to Endeavor and having radically different opinions on him.
Adventurers: homeless people who steal from tombs and kill things.I have so many conflicting feelings right now though man. Hawks really just did his job at the end of the day, and he put down a dangerous man. But fuck, Twice was the heart of the Lo V, so they might really go off the deep end with his influence gone.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.
Huh that short one-shot detailing Nine's origin just came on Viz now.
