My god, is that Robin design sickeningly adorable. Is it a female Robin, because the design looks very Carrie Kelly. Though, given the nature of Batman affectionate parodies, that could be very intentional.

Edit: Nevermind. it is Dick Grayson. Gah.

wild mass guess Carrie Kelly exists in this movie's universe, and the Kelly-esque Grayson and Carrie meet up per a post-credits sequence or a one-off gag and have a "Whaddaya mean, I look like him/her?!?" moment.wild mass guess

The following is a trailer for a touching drama about a mentally scarred orphan who struggles to raise his gay adopted son:

Robin is adorable!

They're going to be digging deep for villains, including the Kabuki Twins (from The Batman), Orca, Mime. Doctor Phosphorus, and the Mutant Leader from TDKR.

Hmm, so not only did they make Dick resemble the Carrie Kelly, but they have the Mutants, too? Weird, I wouldn't have expected this movie to take inspiration from The Dark Knight Returns of all things...

A fan asked when we could see Will be Batman in a live-action franchise. Arnett replied he just ran into Ben Affleck, who asked him the same question. But he admires Affleck, so… “no time soon?” Mc Kay praised Arnett as an honest actor, and he would be good as Batman.

Will Arnett for The Wraith. Or Owlman.

Will Arnett for Flashpoint Batman.

No, Lego Flashpoint Batman should be Kevin Conroy.

I'm hoping we get a version based on either Batman: the Animated Series or the Arkham games, which would be better for Conroy.

Though that reminds me, particularly since there is a 60's Batman set, just how inevitable is an Adam West cameo? I'm not quite at "if it doesn't happen, I'll eat my hat" levels of certainty, but I'd certainly bet on it happening.

Anybody else just find it legitimately crazy that in the same year we're getting two versions of Batman on the big screen ? One animated, and parodic and one live action and dead serious ?

Well, not really, not in the current movie environment. I do find that the live-action one is crazy, in a "this guy is distinctly sociopathic" sort of way.

That's cause Wolverine Publicity needs to be renamed Bat Publicity.

[up][up][up] Nah, I see it more as a natural progression of the superhero movie craze. Not surprising at all that the two most popular superheroes ever are getting animated adaptions alongside new live action adaptions. It's probably just to appeal more to kids, especially considering how dark Batfleck is, which is fine.

I mean, it could just be two hours of Batman microwaving his dinner and it'd still be a better Suicide Squad movie.

[up]wild mass guess The film opens with Batman microwaving his dinner, only to be interrupted by the plot. The film thus ends with him remembering to retrieve it in a Book Ends. wild mass guess

That would be amusing, but we actually saw him eat his lobster that he microwaved in the first trailer.

Yes, it does. Maybe his microwave is tricked out though, I mean this is Batman after all.
