It feels like next episode should be the finale, but we have two left
There are 13 episodes.
Check out my fanfiction!"Noel is a saucer? Oh well." - They took it pretty well.
It's always a stampede to who gets to make the sacrifice.
It's pretty telling that Noel is the only one who doesn't mind leaving.
Geez, why won't they just draw straws to see who gets to leave to keep Noel from leaving?
Welp, since they can't decide, Noel will make the decision for them.
A bit melancholy, but mostly a good end, I think. Wait, what do you mean there's more?
My guess would be They re-summon Noel
Oh this really was pretty melancholic.
Parting with friends is really sad.
Two episodes left, let's see how it goes from here on.
I...felt like crying. Especially when Noel just couldn't hold back the waterworks any longer...
Now, a few choices have opened up. Either move on with your lives, or call for Noel again. What will the future bring, I wonder?
Episode 11. In which there's a meteor shower.
Getting surprised at the small details.
Everyone's so social.
I wonder if she could actually clear the weather.
Shione is quite weak to people caring about her.
She's always been good at running away.
Credits already? Is it the final episode? Yes, I know.
Check out my fanfiction!Episode 12.
Retgones! I love retgones!
Well, this isn't bad, but it's kind of WTF, particularly for this series
I liked this episode, perhaps the best one yet.
But it says something when an episode about Nonoka dealing with reality retconing itself around her felt less silly than what was going on before.
Episode 12:
- Huh. It's as if Noel never existed. Except in their dreams.
- In this world that is more real than the last, will Nonoka and Shione call Noel home? To everyone...?
So the last ep is out.
It's kind of...fuzzy, I want to say.
So, for the finale we're ramping the hell out of the Nonoka x Shione subtext. Also some stuff with Noel that'd work better if she'd been more integrated into the plot
Overall, I'd say it's a reasonably good series that never quite realized it's potential. In particular the supernatural side (and Noel in general) could have used more focus. Both the increase the impact of the finale and make the drama less tedious towards the end
Boring end to a mostly boring series.
How about that final segment though— animated in pointillism!

All I understood from this series is that friendship is awesome!
Seriously, this show didn't explain shit, and had load of nonsensical parts but it was cute and fuzzy so all is well.
Ah, Shione/Nonoka subtext without the drama. Nice~.
Welcome back, Noel.
That art shift at the end. Kinda cute.
Hm, an average show. But that's okay.
Episode 12. In which there's one ray of sunshine.
I recognise this. And with the episode title, I can sort of guess what's going on. Would've been more interesting if they changed the OP to reflect that as well. They did just that in one ED of No Game No Life to great effect, to pick one example.
Well, at least she should have no trouble with school.
Everyone's so much happier without the saucer. Is it because they didn't have anything to blame for that minor stuff and they had to deal with it on their own.
By the way, the music is rather unreal. Which reflects her emotions well.
One thing that's more different than expected, at least. I wonder what's up with her.
The fox is still there. And unafraid as before.
I'm not sure "forgotten" is the right word here, considering time has turned back.
Looks like some kind of Wistful Amnesia. note
And Shione manages to be the ray of sunshine that peeks through the dark, cloudy skies. It's kind of odd to have her play that role considering her character, but on the other hand, she did have the closest connection with Noel. note
Also, she looks great in that outfit. A classic and simple summer dress with a hat, but it works well.
Episode 13. In which there are sunflowers.
"Getting Shione involved." Sure, that's how it was. Well, Nonoka's the protagonist, so she gets all the blame. But he doesn't know about it, so it's probably more fair than usual. And they seem to leave Shione out of their considerations as well, as if her memory doesn't matter.
Good place for her hat.
So she noticed the difference in her personality too. It's a little like the two siblings have switched.
A sunflower petal and wind. Nothing out of the ordinary; none at all.
That's a lot of sunflowers. Now I want to see a giant leaf with huge water droplets on it going through that field. Or someone short picking up the hat.
Can't resist sitting down on that bench.
Gotta say, I've always liked Shione, even when she was being stupid, but at this time, she's a delight.
Don't stand and wonder where to go. To the sunflower field!
Back to her field of expertise. Sign craftmanship.
So, what did he just say was better?
Got my wish. Helps that I wished for something obvious.
Odd style to use.
This was a cute series with many stupid plot devices, in particular in their motivations for being pricks, but then, there are even more stupid people in the life we call real. But for a story it seems out of place. But on the whole it worked. Not a bad series.

Check out my fanfiction!Special 1. In which there's a huge, giant monster.
Et tu, cardboard cut-out.note
Digging their threads. Noel and Koharu especially.
Girl likes her snacks.
Totally inconspicuous.
Like the evolution of the scene change pic.
Protip: Don't feed ducks bread.
Oh.
They should totally tease her about that.
Short fluff piece of a mystery. Sort of.
Check out my fanfiction!Gotta say, I agree with that post; it's a fitting way to wrap up Sora no Method.
Less mystery and more casual fun, if you ask me. That being said, we've seen the OVA for ourselves now and so, there's no need to summarise it again, thank you very much

Being cleverer than you look is better than looking cleverer than you are.
Episode 10. In which people just don't talk enough.
Didn't she drop the phone?
I really wonder how far away they are if they can't see the saucer. I mean, considering the height and its size, you'd see it from pretty far away. Probably farther than they're commuting. Well, it's most likely some arbitrary distance closer than that anyway. Especially since they end up inside where they can't see it.
I think that's a bit much.
"Oh, so nothing's changed." Good reaction. She didn't sound entirely convinced, though.
"It's not your fault." Well, for once it kind of is. With a healthy dose of Shione being stubborn. And they'd probably not make even nearly as much progress without her anyway.
Nailed it on the last guess.
Never rely on Koharu to carry anything fragile.
It's almost always English or Math you see in classes. Sometimes History. Unless the class has a special significance. And not counting classes in a different classroom, like PE or Home Ec.
Koharu is dejected being denined the opportunity to help carry something.
Wouldn't it be better to start talking once she actually opens the door?
Well, it's obvious to anyone what she's really thinking.
Even Noel has grown up.
And the moment she reveals her plan, everyone wants in on it. Or at least be the one to leave for the sake of the others. Maybe they could take turns?
Where'd Noel go?
And then Noel decides to be the one to leave. I suppose she would have the final say in that, since if she does leave, there'd be no point in anyone else leaving. And then they can wish their dear friend back.
