So apparently this show has 81% on Rotten Tomatoes.
why
Maybe its better than the trailers made it seem?
"That's right mortal. By channeling my divine rage into power, I have forged a new instrument in which to destroy you."Geoff and his suppose "love" of Dawn as Dove
First thing he does now that he can have her and Hank as a couple is have her revealed to have cheated on Hank with Dick.
I'm getting mixed signals here Geoff
Oh, he loves her alright. Just not in the way you're thinking.
... at this point I just don't get it
For those worrying about Dove IMDB lists her as being in more episodes, so she may survive.
If this does turn it to be good after all, it admittedly wouldn’t be the first decent show marred by an awful PR campaign.

Ha, you fell for it :P

I don't get any personal pleasure out of reading "show plans to introduce LGBT character." To me that's social pan-handling and it defeats the point of being diverse in the first place, but apparently a great number of creators disagree because I'm seeing more and more shows advertising something along the lines of, "we're introducing this LGBT (character/story arc/episode). Get hype!" I think it'd be more effective if said character just showed up.
The f-ck do I know, though.
I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!Hard to say.
So, Bunker, huh? That's nice, I suppose. I was thinking someone would be caught by Adaptational Sexuality, but hope it does a good job. Didn't he debut on the New 52 in a bad era for the Titans? Hopefully they don't botch it.
Wake me up at your own risk.I tried reading the New 52 Teen Titans comics but Continuity Lockout ensued. Apparently the storyline had continued on in several other series, so that the immediate next issue had nothing to do with its predecessor. Don't nobody got time for that.
I liked what little I read with Bunker in it, though.

You fell victim to one of the classic blunders!I wouldn't recommend New 52 as a starting point in general.
Buy trades, buy trades, buy trades. Cheaper, should contain one encapsulated story arch, no ads, easier to store... If you're new to comics don't even bother with single issues. Go trades or go digital.
Anyways, HA. Add queerbaiting to the list of mistakes this production has stumbled into.
It would only be queerbaiting if they don’t go through with it.

I don't think that queerbaiting has an actual definition (Yet?) but I don't want to devalue the term so I will say I suspect it. But seriously we've all been burned enough times not to hold out hope.
Batwoman is getting her own show though so I needn't worry.
In other news this show's actually out now and I haven't seen an explosion of new memes. Disappointing.
I was not expecting the nuclear family of all villians to show up
" I did the right thing, didn't I? It all worked out in the end." "In the end? Nothing ends, Adrian. Nothing ever ends."I just started watching this show and it's better than I thought it would be, but first:
In any case: I actually really like this show. Once you get past the hyperviolence done by the characters (and yes, it might be tough to get past), it actually is a pretty neat deconstruction of the normal way that you see superheroes: being a vigilante didn't appease Dick's need for revenge, but might have messed him up even further; Hank, after years of being a vigilante, not only has bruises and scars, but also needs a replacement hip (plus, he takes steroids in order to keep strong).
It's pretty nice to see superheroes treated with a degree of realism. Of course, that's not to say that the show is entirely realistic — the appearance of the Nuclear Family was a surprise, but a fun one, especially since they just seem so, well, neat. Like, I want to see an entire spin-off of them going on missions and stuff.
The only thing marring this show (aside from, you know, the hyperviolence) is the unnecessary fridging of Amy Rohrbach and Dawn. Yes, I know Dawn's not dead, but she was put into a coma just to give Dick and Hank manpain. Hopefully, when she gets out of the coma, she will kick ass and we will see her deal with her relationship in a more adult manner (I'm tired of goddamn love triangles). Amy Rohrbach's death, however, was just forgotten about — Dick learned about it and then that was it. Which is sad, because I could see her becoming a good recurring character, the Commission Gordon to Dick's Batman.

Its good that no cheating was involved but it does kinda make Dawn yet another one of dick's multiple conquests
Dawn's not dead... she's just in a coma for the next 5+ episodes
There are so many jokes to be made about that.
Wake me up at your own risk.(Also, it doesn't help that Minka Kelly is probably the best actor in the entire show and should have probably been a main character from the start.)
IDK...
Minka might be a good actress but Her version of Dawn doesn't seem to have much going for her other then Impossibly perfect mate for Hank and Dick to fight over and be concerned for
Which again is par the course with how Geoff writes Dawn
Lets Hear em

Preview of the Doom Patrol episode.
So far, we haven't actually heard Cliff or Larry speak. I wonder if they changed their voices since they got new voice actors for their own show? Or maybe they just don't talk in this episode? That would be kind of weird. But then again, per the clip, it's going to be a weird show, which is par for the course with the Doom Patrol.
I. Fucking. Loved. This. Episode.
You can read my thoughts on it here. Suffice to say, I am hyped for the Doom Patrol show now.
A look at Kory's and maybe Raven's final costumes.
