Accepted. Should make things rather more interesting. As for the DRA element in the backstory, I got the idea that, later on, a DRA High Command member named Master Malice shows up. It turns out Malice was the one responsible for the ransacking campaign on his planet.

• Name: Antoinette “Tony” van Haver
• Gender: Female
• Age: 20
• Appearance: Tony is about 5’8’’ in height, and has a rugged, muscular physique. Her skin is a darkish sort of olive, freckled on the shoulders and the bridge of the nose due to frequent sunlight exposure. Her dark hair is tied back in a ponytail that reaches down to her lower back, with some loose bangs in the front. She usually wears a sleeveless dark red shirt underneath an open brighter-red windbreaker. She sports weighted-knuckle gloves, or sap gloves, whenever she’s outside, as a precaution.
  • As a Ranger, Tony’s outfit is formfitting and features shoulder armor and a design resembling a cut ruby. It is primarily red, with some gold accents.
• Personality: Tony is the sort of person who has little personal respect for the weak or without motive. Her true sole interest is the acquisition of power, for which she trains daily, both in and out of ranger form. She is serious, and someone who gets irritated easily. She does however, appreciate those who wish to better themselves.
• Bio: Tony used to be a much different person, a short chubby girl who loved italian cuisine and wanted to be a chef. However, the constant harassment at a young age lead her to, rather than become depressed, change herself completely. She viewed her past self as weak, and forced herself through rigorous training to become a veritable powerhouse. She quickly beat down her former assailants, and has since then worked as a gym instructor and on-and-off boxer. However, with the arrival of the DRA, a force she deems stronger than she is, she has sought to take them down simply to prove her own strength.
• Other Details: Back in her base, there is a padlocked refrigerator filled with Cannoli of all sorts. If she finds someone stealing from it, she will beat them within an inch of their life.
• Morpher Color: Ruby, and as such, is the leader of the Gemstone Team
• Weapon Type:
  • A cestus-like weapon that extends down to the elbows. It features metal plating along the back of the forearm, as well as rounded plates on the knuckles. It’s sole ranged application is in its ability to close distances through the user punching the ground or obstacles to propel themselves forward or upward. The weapon has two modes, one that expels force and one that attracts. These are frequently switched mid-battle to make attacks stronger or to evade others.
• Zord: Quirina Zord - A zord that resembles the mythological creature called a Qilin. It is primarily red, but features some more metallic or ruby-like features. It has the ability to turn into the Terme Zord, its humanoid form that resembles a boxer. Tony’s allies’ zords usually form the two arms, but it can function on its own to a lesser extent. The Quirina Zord is the form that combines with other Zords, making a burning shield that can be used both to block and also to deliver powerful blows.

Alright, done and done. It'll be interesting to see how people go during battles between the Gemstone Team and The DRA.

Also, more DRA Information:

• How Widespread Are They?: The DRA is a large, powerful empire spanning numerous planets, centered around a planet called Orvale, which some say is one gigantic, "utopian" city. They are governed by a dictator named OMNI, who is rarely seen, but who often gives bombastic speeches. The DRA is said to have equal or higher military power than the United Alliance of Evil of old, and they use a surprising variety of footsoldiers in their invasions. They use blue-headed, cybernetic minions called Grievers who wield serrated clubs also capable of shooting energy, green-headed more advanced soldiers called Dredsteels, and the oddly humanoid looking Dogma Guard.

• State of things in Earth "Colonies": The DRA is best characterized as being extremely fascist and utilitarian, but equal in terms of how fascist they are. In a number of places, the DRA instituted housing projects using seized wealth and resources, and while "dreary, grey and without inspiration" the DRA housing is free of charge - they don't even charge rent for the places. The citizenry itself is under curfew and subject to invasive inspections, and anyone who takes up arms against the DRA is held in high-mounted "Bird Cages", their weapon dangling beneath the cage. Anyone held in a bird cage is simply denied food and water. Citizens of the Colonies often say that the DRA is always patrolling, and seemingly always watching. Most notably, however, they're pretty open to letting humans in the colonies assist in governance as long as loyalty can be proven.

• Name: Alex Harris
• Gender: Male
• Age: 17
• Appearance: Alex is roughly 5'4 and slightly muscular, with pale skin and sunken features.. His hair is naturally blond but he typically dies it a light blue, matching his eyes. He prefers informal clothing, typically wearing blue and dressing lightly.
  • His suit is fairly typical and mostly blue in colour with some white features. It features armour elements that resemble a cut sapphire and a wide visor.
• Personality: Alex is fairly chaotic and unpredictable, basing his actions on impulse more than logic. If given instructions he deems acceptable, he will obey them but he is cynical about leadership, not truly trusting anyone in command until they prove they can succeed more often than not. He tends to be well-mannered and polite, as he has been brought up to be but it is normally insincere, not really respecting anyone and just going through the motions.
• Bio: Alex was the son of a powerful politician and, as his father was a businessman who was willing to pay money but otherwise ignored him completely, as he grew up he was brought with his mother around the world. He grew up fairly quiet in his mother's shadow and quickly became disillusioned with politics and cynical in his worldview. When the DRA arrived, he witnessed the start of the political turmoil and jumped at the opportunity to change things himself.
• Other Details: He excels at acrobatics and parkour and his fighting style reflects this, being highly agile and kind of showy.
• Morpher Color: Sapphire
• Weapon Type: Retractable claws, with two on each hand. The ones on the left can also be fired out on a retractable cord.
• Zord: Basilisk Zord. Resembles a large snake with horns running down it's head and spines down its back. When it combines into a megazord, it normally forms an arm with the head opening up to reveal a set of claws but it can also form a leg, which gives the resulting megazord faster movement.

Accepted.

I changed my Zord up a bit too make it a bit more resonable and 'piratey'. Don't worry it's still called thr Cruiser Zord.

Would a ranger who starts out working for the DRA as a mercenary be viable?

Yeah. That would actually be a really good way to show the inner workings of the DRA. Maybe have an Everyone Has Standards moment when Wartact suggests something especially fiendish, that leads to his leaving the DRA.

Name: Caidan King Ray

Gender: Male

Age: 17

Appearance: Caidan has slightly brown skin, a slightly lanky build, and a head of short curly black hair. He usually wears a black t-shirt, grey shorts, and tennis shoes.

Personality: Caidan is shy, quiet, and has nasty bouts of cynicism( or realism as he would call it). Caidan is very intelligent, but is also quite the loner. He has a tactical mind, and in combat is very pragmatic. Despite all of this, he still only wants to help people. He takes the loss of lives very severely, and can't stand to see people hurt. Beneath his introverted shell is a delightfully geeky guy, who practically exploded with excitement when he was selected to be a part of Project Yggdrasil.

Bio: Caidan is the step-son of a former military commander, who was transitioned over to Project Yggdrasil not long after its forming. Caidan and his mom stayed in South California while his step-father worked to save the world. Not long after the pattern behind the chosen was realized, someone suggested checking it out on Caidan. Despite his step-father's reluctance, it was soon discovered that Caidan was in fact the Red ranger.

Other Details: Ran track in school for as long as he possibly could. He is a very fast and nimble fighter. Loves all food. Is big geek when it comes to superheroes and heroic feats.

Morpher Color: Red

Weapon Type: Twin Daggers, that can be merged together to create a powerful revolver.

Zord: A red Tiger that makes up the head.

Accepted - with this, we can have something of a contrast between the "leader-ish" characters, namely Caidan and Matthew.

In the grand tradition of power rangers...an alien who looks like a human and has a weird name

• Name: Xenar
• Gender: Male
• Age: His species' equivalent of eighteen
• Appearance: Mostly human however he has eyes resembling a bird of prey and his skin shows light markings that suggest feathering (his race evolved from an avian variant)
• Personality: Xen is somewhat of a broken soul. He works for the DRA because he doesn't see the point in fighting them anymore. He's also a serial snarker which comes across as much more directly mocking when confronting other rangers.
• Bio: Xenar initially resisted the DRA on his homeworld but surrendered when the rest of his team was defeated and likely killed. After that he spent several months just kind of lost in his own mind before being offered a deal by the DRA: If he helped them they would pay Xen and he could help avoid more collateral damage being done in the process. Xenar accepted and has a tendency to particularly fixate on other rangers during invasions. At this point he has helped with several invasions and doesn't hide the fact that he dislikes all his coworkers.
• Morpher Color: Black, it resembles a small flip open computer which can be used to control his zord remotely. Xenar was part of the team known as the strike rangers on his homeworld. His ranger uniform most closely resembles that of the Thunder Rangers, minus the armored bits, with grey pants and the belt is more of a gunbelt. His helmet looks like this.
• Weapon Type: Twin laser pistols that can combine into a laser rifle akin to a sub machine-gun
• Zord: Nighthawk zord. The Zord is essentially just a hi-tech jet with some light bird motifs thrown in. It has a variety of missiles at it's disposal from large ones that can damage monsters and zords to very small precision ones (the latter being Xenar's finishing move since he no longer has the rest of his team to summon the BFG)
