So demons probably consider dragons to be distant relatives or something. Because...
Dragons: Enormous flying fire-breathing reptiles.
Demons: Big fire-breathing reptiles.
I'm sure both sides have at least noticed the resemblance. Also, Mordor is now the name of an actual demon town/trade center, just so people have to walk into it.

Would anyone like to volunteer to be the race that attacked and sorely defeated mine about 3/4000 years ago? Bonuses include having a bunch of Orcs occupying a Montain range on your borders!

Well, the Dragon Empire fell 1500 years ago. If nothing else my proper Civ could have done it a couple centuries ago

Though if they're on mountains like you say, hit up Des. I think Pandoa and Dawlat have a mountainous border. If he wants to be the one who beat you up, then you could probably fit in between Daemuun, Dawlat, and Pandoa. That region is (relatively) unclaimed.

Dude, my guys were beaten so bad they became Orcs (or, well, adapted into them due to having to move to a new climate that was harsher, but whatever).

Hrm, problematic. The Dawla are mostly isolationist. It's more likely they'll raid one another than severely beat up some other race.
