I loathed the song in "Mad Scientist" because it didn't seem to serve any purpose other than to kill time and wasn't even that interesting.

The songs in "Sing It Loud" did help advance the story and were well-plotted and well-performed.

The Loud House voice cast vary in singing talent but nobody is close to being as ear-splitting bad as Angelica Pickles singing "One Way Or Another"

Part of Luna's schtick is referencing lyrics to classic rock songs. Her original songs are fine but just once I'd like to see Nickelodeon splurge on royalties so Luna could actually sing a real-life classic rock song.

Luna is voiced by Nikka Futterman. I hope one day Tom Kenny and Maurice La Marshe can guest star on Loud House so they can join Futterman in a "My Gym Partner Is A Monkey" reunion.

What I wouldn't give for an episode where Luna and Sam go on a date, don't care if it's formal or casual. And before you ask, the upcoming Luna/Sam episode "Racing Hearts" isin't exactly a date episode.

I thought you were going to say Nickelodeon would never allow it. Which is kind of heartwarming or really sad that it didnt come up immediately.

Like its heartwarming that it wouldnt actually be an issue, and sad that we might still not reached that level of Representation.

I was delighted to learn in "Home Of The Fave" that Lynn Sr. has at least one sibling. Hope we get to meet some Loud family cousins in the future.

Interesting that Lynn's sibling was not present in the Christmas or Thanksgiving episodes but that could just be a case of the sibling living far away.

Then again, Rita's Aunt Ruth and her father, Albert live reasonably close by and they didn't join the family for Christmas or Thanksgiving either.

I just guess that since Old Man Loud preferred Lynn Sr's sibling they don't get along.

[up](x3) Netflix? Will it air on Nick eventually or is it Netflix-only? I'm sure a lot of people have Netflix, but it's still an odd choice.

"I just guess that since Old Man Loud preferred Lynn Sr's sibling they don't get along."

"Home Of The Fave" only showed one flashback of Lynn Sr. being neglected . It's possible Lynn Sr. was just blowing things out of proportion.

One of the characters you can unlock in the Loud House Treehouse game is an African-American girl named Joy.

I actually had to check IMDB to see what episodes Joy appeared in (only the "Lincoln Loud: Girl Guru/Come Sale Away" episode).

In a game with only 7 Non-Louds, it's surprising they'd give a spot to such an obscure character. Joy wasn't even the center of the episode she was in.

The other Non-Louds unlockable in the Treehouse game are: Clyde, Bobby, Ronnie Ann, Rusty, Sam and Lucy's friend from "Dance Dance Resolution".

2 of Bobby and Ronnie Ann's cousins are now available in the Loud House Treehouse game.

You can't unlock CJ, which is a shame because he's the one Casagrande cousin I care about though I do like Grandpa Hector and the nerdy uncle.

You can also unlock the Casagrande parrot and dog. I don't remember if the Loud's bird is unlockable but they have the other Loud pets: Charles The Dog, Griff the Cat and Geo The Hamster (I can't, it's a Geo!!!)

To be honest, I don't really care that much about the Casagrande family coming to the Tree House game but I do plan on watching the Casagrande spin-off if and when it happens ( still no IMDB page for the spinoff)

Ok, so don't expect me to post too often. I'm just here to bump this thread up because of a recent bombshell.

Since May 7th, we now know that The Loud House's 5th season will avert Not Allowed to Grow Up by aging every characters by a year. It's a daring move, and one I believe few cartoons have ever done before. However, that also makes it uncharted territory, so I wondered if the writers might amp up their game with season 4 in preparation for it.

Personally, I'll admit that I'm scared. Not because of a particular dislike for the idea, but because of how much of a massive change it's gonna be. On the other hand, I can also see how many new stories it potentially opens (I've even made a fake episode list Just for Fun) in regards to growing up, especially if they really intend to have the show continue without Lori post-season 5 (maybe that's why she got so many episodes: to exhaust every possible stories before she leaves?). It also fixes many issues like preventing another recasting of Lincoln's VA by having both of them go through puberty and the older Loud sisters (Luna, Luan and Lynn Jr.) not having chests even though they're supposed to be older than Maggie (who has one). Depending of how you see it, it's either a very risky shark jump or one massive Author's Saving Throw to those who believe a strong continuity could bring out the best of this show.

So let's discuss! What do you think?

It's ages since I've seen this show, and I've seen it Out of Order... Continuity Lock-Out shouldn't be an issue, surely?

[up][up] Season 3 ended last March. Season 4 begins this Monday and its first few episodes will serve as a prologue to Los Casagrandes (Aka Ronnie Anne's spin-off) before going back to focusing on the Loud.

[up] Depends of where you stopped. You don't have to watch every episodes to catch up; focus on those that changed the Status Quo (like Racing Hearts and Stage Plight).

I noticed Luan is the oldest Loud daughter who has yet to have her ears pierced. I wonder if a Season 4 episode will involve around her starting to wear earrings.

6-year-old Lola wears earrings, which is strange since Lynn & Rita aren't usually depicted as overly-indulgent like that.

[up] Huh, now that you bring that up... It could make for a good story.

However, I think we're more likely to see an episode revolving around the removal of her braces. Considering Rita's job, it would be a great opportunity to set a conflict between them (Luan wants to keep them because they're part of her goofy style Vs Rita wants to remove them because they're no longer needed). Plus, the title of such an episode writes itself: "The Moment of Tooth" wink

Not a bad idea! I also imagine that she was pretty upset when she first had to get them on (for the reason that most kids don't want to get braces). Rita'd be all like, "God, Luan! First you don't want to have them put on, now you don't want to have them taken off!"

I love to learn, I love to yearn, and most of all... I love to make money.

Just kidding.

Moving on: today is Jessica Diccio's birthday. Considering she voices both Lucy and Lynn, you could say it's the birthday of those characters as well.

So happy birthday to our favourite goth, the Loud athlete and the talented voice-actress who brings them to life! ^o^

I'm personally enjoying it because I love Ronnie Anne a lot but I think it might have been better for the episodes to switch off, one episode with the Casagrandes, the next with the Louds, the next with the Casagrandes, and so on.

I saw the 4 Casagrandes episodes this week. They're all fine. The only major downside is that these episode seem like Loud House scripts rewritten with new characters. This is especially true of the Monday episode since Loud House already did an episode about conserving energy.

One minor complaint: it feels kind of odd that Casagrandes portray the dog very realistic but the parrot is basically a human with feathers. I feel you should have all the pets realistic or all the pets cartoonishly exaggerated: don't pick and choose.

The Casagrandes opening with Ronnie Ann listing off her various family members remind me of the opening to The Wild Thornberries. Of course, the majority of the fan base for Loud House and Casagrandes wasn't alive when Wild Thornberries was on the air.

It's revealed in one episode that the Casagrandes live in "Great Lakes City" or something like that. I prefer to think that's a nickname for Chicago as that's certainly the biggest city in the Great Lakes region. I don't think the Casagrandes live in Detroit as I think they're supposed to live a noticeable distance from the Louds.

Of new characters on Casagrandes, I especially like the video game guy. I wonder if he has the same system Clyde does.

It will be interesting to see other Loud House characters besides Lincoln and Lori appear on The Casagrandes. Lincoln's friend Liam is constantly referring to Royal Oaks citizens as city slickers. It would be interesting to see Liam in an actual urban environment.

And Now For Something Completely Different: a previous poster mentioned Jessica Di Sicco's birthday so I wanted to wish a happy birthday to Cristina "Luan Loud" Pucelli. She turned the big 5-0 on Tuesday (June 11, 2019) so congratulations to Ms. Pucelli on the golden anniversary of her birth.

I am quite enjoying the Casagrande focused episodes. When I rewatched Relative Chaos I noticed how each of the Casagrande family is similar to a loud (i.e. Carlita as Leni's fashion side, Carlos as an adult Lisa, the Grandma as Lucy with mystical remedies etc.) but I am glad for the very different stories possible with these new characters (i.e. Ronnie Anne bonding with Carlita in pranking). But I am curious on where the apartment residents/mercado customers should go considering they seem like recurring characters that lack folders in the Casagrande and the Adult section. Also Ronnie Anne and Bobby's dad is confirmed yet lacks a folder also (He falls into Casagrande subpage obviously). What are your thoughts on the new characters that we have?

Congratulations to Loud House on two very well deserved Daytime Emmys for Outstanding Animated Program and Writing In An Animated Program.

The Daytime Emmys award all episodes in a calendar year, so Loud House's Daytime Emmys award all 2018 episodes from "Roadie To Nowhere" in January to "Really Loud Music" which premiered Thanksgiving weekend.

Let's hope Loud House can win an Animated Program Daytime Emmy the same year as an Animated Program Primetime Emmy (Penguins Of Madagascar achieved this in 2012).

As far as I know, 4 Loud House episodes aired at 7 PM E.S.T. or later from June 1 2018 to May 31 2019: Tripped!, Scales Of Justice/Crimes Of Fashion, Loudest Thanksgiving and Really Loud Music.

If June was any indication, it would not surprise me if Casagrandes earns some Emmys themselves. Who knows? Frasier won more Comedy Series Emmys than Cheers did.

The Luchador episode kind of rubs me the wrong way.

We're meant to feel sorry for Uncle Carlos but I just feel that when you are a middle aged father of 4, you're a little too old to be so butt-hurt that your mommy (who lives seconds away from you) misses one assembly for a seemingly legitimate reason.

If Ronnie Ann was to receive an award and one of her cousins got mildly sick, would Uncle Carlos tell his mother to forget his sick kid and ask his mother to attend Ronnie Ann's Assembly? I doubt it.
