Best non-supernatural SOL show this season. Hands-down. Heh
I always thought this Super Sonico character was Megurine Luka.
With a '0', not an 'O'Kind of a lost opportunity there though for Toma to meet Sonico again face-to-face, and what's more, there's no guarantee Sonico will read the message at the live show.
And yeah, the setup for this episode does seem like something out of a Yuri anime.

You mean this isn't a yuri anime?
Yeah, I wonder why Toma didn't want to see Sonico at that moment. It would've been so heartwarming.
Not yet.
They had to keep the suspense for when they finally do meet...or something. :-/
Loves feel-good animation a whole lot.Toma seens to be the type that doesn't like goodbyes¹. Maybe she wouldn't be around for long so she decided to avoid the meeting and the inevitable tearfull moment when she have to leave again.
¹Not saying it is a bad thing, but the only other character I know that is like that indirectly ruined the lives of a LOT of people.
And Super Sonico continues to be a great SOL series. Seriously, the segment with the photographer following Sonico around for an up-close and personal look at her daily life could have gone in the usual fanservice direction... But instead we get another episode that has some obvious heart in it.
Also more high school Sonico. "Aren't her breasts too big?" panics Turns out the girls were talking about someone else...
Episode 5:
- Sayaka Kinomoto, a photographer who felt crushed by the world. By doing a article on Sonico, she can hope again.
- Next episode, it's Zombie Night! Tell your friends!
Episode five: another sweet episode. Sonico makes a new friend in the reporter Sayaka, and teaches her to do what she likes along the way. The ED of this episode was very interesting.
Loves feel-good animation a whole lot.Episode 6. Where Super Sonico makes fun of Zombie Apocalypse and Cruiseliner Danger tropes.
Also, slimming cream? Slimming cream.

It was pretty obvious why Ouka wasn't affected.
Also, best ED so far. I really didn't expect a Thriller reference here.

Episode 6. In which there are zombies.
I think Suzu's swimsuit was the best one. Nico's was too overdone, and Fuuri's was just plain.
Obligatory "I'm the king of the world!"
Suzu is all kinds of awesome.
I wonder if this episode should be taken as some kind of dig at weight loss products. I sure hope so.
The ED was kinda neat. But this series is good at those.
Check out my fanfiction!See, those swimsuits were really nice. The gravure swimsuits from episodes 1 and 4, not so much.
Ouka-chan is flipping cute!
If the company Sonico-chan works for doesn't go out of business after this...
Well, Suzu-chan is certainly an anime character.
Ouka-chan was gonna escape alone...that's cold.
Wait, the fat just comes back? How does that even work? ...Science.
Another great ED, fitting for the episode.
And Ouka was never seen or heard from again.
Loves feel-good animation a whole lot.Episode 6:
- Suzu's made of awesome.
- Weight loss product not doing its job right. The predicted outcome.
- It wouldn't be Zombie Night without a Thriller reference. The ending also reminded me of this.
- So... When will Ouka be saved? Her time
has endedis now, you know.

This was kinda bizarre episode, but I'd lie if I said I didn't find it funny.
Sonico-chan got cute swimsuit.
That's some slimming cream.
I never in a hundred years would have expect zombies.
ED was as always very good.

I also laughed at Suzu's "Oh, that reminds me, I also used to do pro wrestling!" to explain her moves.
The funny part about that line is that I didn't find it at all unexpected for some reason.
Check out my fanfiction!New episode out. Sonico goes on a trip.
By now I'm convinced that the sole goal of this anime is to make anyone watching it feel nice.
Is it it possible to have a more moe show(and episode) than this?
I mean without involving anything obviously cutsey. I mean, it looks like a normal school anime. It's just super duper laid back.
edit2: Fair enough. Honestly, I'd probably have a difficult time choosing between this and those 2. YMMV, so I can see your point. Iyashikei wasn't something I'm that familiar with...but I understand it now.

Absolutely. Chi's Sweet Home.
edit: In that case, I would consider K-On! more moe, as well as its Spiritual Successor Tamako Market. This is still a difficult show to top in that regard though.
edit 2: Actually, I'd say Sonico is moe, sure, but it is Iyashikei to a greater extent than either of those shows.
Episode 7: the very quiet, but not boring, episode. Sonico is kind of strange to just kind of go north without knowing where she is going. I like traveling on my own sometimes, but if I were to go off without planning anything, I would probably end up having a pretty exhausting and unsatisfying trip. Sonico also tends to meet really nice strangers who randomly give her snacks, so that's good for her.

Loves feel-good animation a whole lot.Episode 7: Sonico's a traveling traveler who travels up north. She meets nice people on her journey. And then she reached her destination: Stargazing.
The journey was nice. The destination was also nice.
This show continues to be nice.
To quote someone on my Twitter timeline:
Well, that was iyashikei as fsk.
Oh, and this is like the third or fourth time we've seen the chubby girl with twintails and glasses now, haven't we?
Around that much, yes. I wonder if she'll be appearing in later eps and if Sonico will run into her.
Episode 4: The story of a bond created by a daydreaming guitar.note
Aww, that was a nice backstory. Toma's cool.
Super Sonico: getting better with each passing episode.
