Damn was Final Crisis good.
The pig of Hufflepuff pulsed like a large bullfrog. Dumbledore smiled at it, and placed his hand on its head: "You are Hagrid now."Except it was a reboot. Continuity was initially reduced to five years. Just about everything that wasn't Batman or Green Lantern got a do-over. Most of the last several decades of storytelling had ceased to be. And the result was a different continuity than what we had prior, with different versions of these characters. How is that not a reboot?
Hell, I wouldn't call Co IE a reboot, or at least not a full one. For all the changes it made, most of DC's history remained intact. More-so than Post-Flashpoint.

Doctor Who — Long Way Around: https://www.fanfiction.net/s/13536044/1/Doctor-Who-Long-Way-AroundManhattan did alter time and events when Flashpoint was reverted, so I'll say that the new 52 is a reboot that wears some of the old continuity. But there are events and occurrences that were completely erased and others that were altered significantly.
And some that were still in continuity until they weren't, and then they were again.
New 52 was weird like that.
The issues that come with a half baked reboot.
Wake me up at your own risk....
I give up. You want to say you're right? Fine. You're right. You win. Because I no longer give a fuck.
Let's all just move on, shall we?
Doctor Who — Long Way Around: https://www.fanfiction.net/s/13536044/1/Doctor-Who-Long-Way-AroundI think that's what everyone's been trying to do for the past two pages.
In any case: Batpenis. Thoughts?
I try not to have any.

Oh God! Natural light! So wait, if the new 52 wasn’t a reboot, but rather Dr. Manhattan messing with stuff, why was there a young new 52 Superman at the same time as the superior Post-Crisis Superman?
The very best, like no one ever was. Check out my Spider-Man fanfic here! [1]So: Married Lois and Clark come from a time prior to Flashpoint and were taken along with the entire city of Gotham to Brainiac's planet Telos. This is covered in Convergence. I'll let Wikipedia explain what happens at the end of Convergence:
So: all characters returned, everything restored, everything right with the Multiverse, right? Will, kinda, but also: Married Lois and Clark have now existed in the New 52 Earth-0 since, well, before the New 52 Superman revealed himself. Due to time machinations, there now exist two Clarks and two Loises (and also two Hals, but nobody had addressed that yet). Married Clark thinks that, well, this isn't his Earth, so obviously they are the same person from just two different Earths, right? So he takes over for New 52 Clark when New 52 Clark dies and even Married Lois replaces New 52 Lois when New 52 Lois dies (long story).
But actually, they aren't two people and they aren't two Earths! The timeline just got...muddled, I guess? Due to Manhattan, but also due to Brainiac returning Lois and Clark in the wrong time and place? I guess? In any case, during the Superman Reborn storyline, the souls of the New 52 Lois and Clark are restored and then merged with the souls of the Married Lois and Clark, thus fixing the timeline differences and created a merged timeline in which, uh, I guess everything that happened also happened but also happened in a way that already happened.
Get it?
...At the rate things are going, that RWBY comic DC is making is somehow going to end up canon with the DC Universe.
Given how often DC absorbs other companies and continuties into itself, I wouldn't be surprised.
Doctor Who — Long Way Around: https://www.fanfiction.net/s/13536044/1/Doctor-Who-Long-Way-AroundTeen titans... Well
FOR FUCK SAKE DAMIAN STOP BEING YOUR FATHER'S CHILD!
I'm A Pervert not an Asshole!What happened?
Spoiler
Damian decided the whole Terminus agenda was to far... but He came up with a better solution◊
Have Djinn lobotomize the villians and make them docile civilians
I'm A Pervert not an Asshole! So Identity Crisis 2.0? Though this is the kind of thing would be against.
So anyone want to talk about Jessica Cruz getting killed off? I mean, thinking it over, it probably won’t stick, but...

*spittake* WHAT?
If they kill off Jessica Cruz — one of the best new characters they have introduced in the New 52, a Latina woman who had to overcome her massive anxiety — then I will fucking riot.
Spoiler from Justice League Odyssey #12 -
I'm guessing that the "NEXT: AFTERLIFE" part means that she's not totally dead. If she returns to life and defeats Darkseid, that's good. If this is actually her final death, then, uh, fuck you, DC.
If it looks like a reboot, walks like a reboot, and talks like a reboot, then it's a reboot. And that doesn't change that in that story, regardless of what happened after, Darkseid was deader than dead.
Though at this point we're just going in circles.
