So, watching the new season on Max.
... would not have guessed that they replaced anyone. Granted, not much Morty in the first two episodes and I guess gun to my head he does sound less... squeaky-voiced teen, but I can equally chalk that up to Character Development since he spends the episode being so Seen It All.
Turns out it's not impossible to replace someone when the characters he voices are the broadest voices possible.
Mr. Poopybutthole did sound kinda off, but since I didn't know he was also originally voiced by Roilland I didn't really take note. But knowing that, he's definitely the most notable replacement in hindsight.

Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them.I wouldn't call a constantly drunk impression of Doc Brown a broad voice.
Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).Point being, it's evidently not that hard to replicate convincingly—the recasting seems to have been quick and pretty seamless.

Mel Blanc and Daws Butler are way better voice actors and people than Justin Roiland and even they got replaced.

YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.Mr Poopybutthole is indeed probably the most noticable change, much more screechy than the original voice. Unfortunately that voice was also Roilland's go-to for lots of other secondary characters so Mr Meeseeks and co will likely be the same.
Still it's not THAT bad. Really if I hadn't watched the few seasons before I could have been convinced it was just Vocal Evolution, especially since Rick and Morty sound mostly the same but a little worn down, as you would expect an older Roilland to voice them.
And this is coming from someone who is usually super OCD about voice changes and got put off by all the little nuances between actor changes since I was a little kid.

That tiny difference made Evil Morty's dialogue sound pretty annoying...
It didn't really work.

Rick's finally beginning to move on.
