  • Class: Rider
  • Master: TBD
  • True Name: Troglodyte, the Caveman
  • Gender: Female
  • Height/ Weight: Tall, built
  • Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
  • Appearance: Bam, have a picture.
  • Personality: Likes to learn new things, takes a hands-on approach to everything, enjoys riding and/or fighting and/or eating animals, and is kind of a pyromaniac. Seems stupid to modern people because her lifestyle is so outdated, despite the fact that she invented everything people take for granted now, like wheels and fire. Can come off as somewhat aggressive. Enjoys yelling.
Stats:
  • Strength: A
  • Endurance: B
  • Agility: C
  • Magical Energy: C
  • Luck: D
Class Skills:
  • Magic Resistance: A
  • Riding: A+
Personal Skills:
  • Battle Continuation: A
    • Even after being gored by a mammoth, Caveman always managed to go home and sleep it off.
  • Innocent Monster: A
  • Projectile (Rocks): C
    • Thrown projectile weapons are now comparable to bullets, but their rounded shape diminishes their damage compared to daggers.
  • Territory Creation: B
    • Construction of a "Cave" becomes possible.
Noble Phantasms:
  • Gragh - The Original Flame: C
    • A club engulfed in the fires of the First Flame, which Caveman invented. It supplements her magic resistance against fire, and makes Caveman unable to be harmed by fire, instead causing it to be absorbed and added to her mana pool. It burns whatever it touches as if it were hit by a low-level fire spell.
  • Master of Beasts: A
    • The ability to tame animals, as well as summoning her own monstrous beasts. The numerical limit to what summons can be sustained (and some rough estimates of animals at those ranks) at any given time is 1 A-Rank (T-Rex, Mammoth, Rhino), or 2 B-Rank (Sabertoothed cat, Bear, Walrus, Shark, Hippo), 3 C-Rank (Wolf, Giraffe), 4 D-Rank (boar, horse, large livestock) or 5 E-Rank (Hawk, Pterodactyl, small animals), where all these totals are exclusive and can't be mixed and matched with different ranks. They have no special magical properties beyond just being a monstrous beast, and no special magical effects giving them atypical attack abilities (so no T-Rex energy beams).

... dinosaurs were extinct by the time the human subspecies emerged. Also, troglodyte doesn't make sense as a slang term for cavemen, much less as a name for an individual. This is of course ignoring that you can't credit anyone with the invention of fire because no written historical records of that time exist and because fire wasn't exactly "invented" by any one individual. But then again, I'm assuming you don't really care about this, since I doubt this profile was meant to be taken seriously.

EDIT: Oh, and as long as I'm being this pedantic, why do they have A+ Riding and A Magic Resistance? The domestication of animals didn't occur for a long time after the Neanderthals died out, and even if they did understand the concept of mounting and riding wild animals, doing that with a T-Rex would get you mercilessly fucking slaughtered. Not to mention A+ Riding is reserved for the likes of Phantasmal Beasts like the pegasus or gryphon, not relatively mundane animals like dinosaurs. As for Magic Resistance, I probably shouldn't have to explain why they shouldn't have that. Unless you want to say they developed a resistance to magecraft because of cave shamans, which then would beg the question of what the hell kind of caveman this is, since they were most likely not culturally developed enough for that. You have to remember this was around the time when basic stone tools were being invented. I doubt they had a very strong grasp on the concept of religion, much less magic or organized ritualistic behavior.

Ah, you're forgetting that in the Nasuverse, older is better, and coming from long ago in the Age of Gods, where magic littered the Earth, and even the physical laws of the universe did not function the way they do today, combined with being a class skill, provides excellent magic resistance. The Type Moon wiki has more information regarding this time period. In any case, this is a game based on myths and legends, and cavemen riding dinosaurs and inventing fire are easily the most prevalent tales regarding them. If this game were based on hard, definitive historical and anthropological facts, literally no servants would exist. Additionally, I don't understand your question about my terminology, given that the Merriam-Webster dictionary defines the term Troglodyte as "a member of any of various peoples (as in antiquity) who lived or were reputed to live chiefly in caves".

Also I am offended that you think my character is a joke. I have made cavemen characters in several other games (Such as Radio City) because I like the tropes regarding them.

Uh...

Oldest hero is... kind of Gilgamesh's whole schtick, too. Just... think that is kind of relevant; though I'm not sure it matters much in this roleplay. But still, older-than-civilisation Servants are rather illogical, especially one with no true identity. :/

The idea of a caveman Heroic Spirit is too awesome to not use, although my Nasuknowledge is limited and so I might be missing something.

Also, do we have a discussion thread? I don't think I've seen it around. I wanted to address a question to players who still have Servants up-for-grabs.

Oh, well that's unfortunate. I was just wondering if there's anyone with a free Servant Valentine can get a hold of, so she can actively participate on her own.

As for Gil, well, I dunno. I suppose it should be up to our GM.

  • Class: Berserker

  • Height/ Weight: 150cm, 45kg
  • Alignment: Chaotic Evil
  • Appearance: Something is questionable if her Master doesn't get new clothes.
  • Personality: What happens when you get a childish orphan and they have a surprisingly low amount of sanity? Why, you get someone that believes in repaying like with like and considers murder both an optimum solution and one that makes a good response to rejection.
Possibly a flawed Assassin in that, should a Master or Servant display a surprising level of courtesy to herself or her Master, she will be disinclined to actually kill them.
  • Stats:

    • Luck: E (E)
    • Noble Phantasm (Rank): C B
  • Class Skills:
    • Mad Enhancement: C. Not activated by default, will generally only do so should her Master (if female) be threatened.
  • Personal Skills:
    • Murderer of the Misty Night: A, At night, Berserker will always have the opportunity for a first strike—in the day, it requires a successful Luck check, so that probably won't work much...
    • Mental Pollution: C, defends against mental interference by reason of insanity.
    • Information Erasure: B, after a fight all memories of the Servant and recordings of them are erased—even from her opponent's memory. Physical clues will remain
    • Surgical Procedure: E, can somehow manage surgery with her knives whilst relying on sight. Not the most hygienic, or prettiest, but it is, at least, something that works.
  • Noble Phantasms:
    • Maria the Ripper: The Holy Mother of Dismemberment: D-Rank, Anti-Unit. Simply knives unless three conditions are met: a female target, night-time, and misty. Then, they create an unavoidable curse, butchering the target from the inside. Physical protection is meaningless, but protection against curses is useful.
    • The Mist: Darkened Misty Metropolis: A-Rank, Support. A Bounded Field that recreates London's perpetual smog, inside it a sense of direction is something that simply doesn't function, with nothing but shadowy fog in all directions. Whilst Mad Enhancement isn't active, it can be directed to leave Jack's Master alone—otherwise, they, too, will get caught in it.
Other Servants experience a rank down to Agility, Masters take damage from the toxic air, and normal people just... die.

Just because Gil is the "oldest hero" does not mean he is the oldest being. Since cavemen have long been written about and thought of in one form or another since humans have always been interested in their own past I think Trog is fine. A little out there for a Servant yeah but I don't think it's really anything that blatently ignores Nasu-fiction. If you want to argue semantics just say it's form is based not on history but on the popular idea of what a badass dinosaur riding cavewoman is. Remember, Frankenstein's monster was a Servant and that was a work of complete fiction so why not a Caveman.

I, for one, welcome our new Basketball Z overlords. All hail The Generation of Miracles! (Aomine is the best though)

It does, however, mean there is something really odd going on if you get a Heroic Spirit older than him. It's in the name. tongue

... not to mention that a prehistoric Heroic Spirit would be one of those people that has been forgotten due to time and is more or less a nameless guardian spirit. So, 'fictional' probably makes more logical sense? [lol]

... okay, I have a question: why are there so many random and unexplained genderswaps? I... don't get it. What's the attraction? O_o

Re: hero vs heroic: Being heroic is not the same as being a hero, IMO. A hero is someone who has a legend, xir name is known, etc. Being heroic is generally doing stuff heroes do. A hero has more requirements than someone heroic.

[up] Because Ragna said he didn't care about the gender. Why, is it weird that the caveman that invented fire would be a woman?

Furthermore, Gilgamesh is the oldest documented hero—the ending of his Epic is totally centered around how he recorded his own story. The caveman is prehistoric. Literally before history, such as the Epic. The only way people actually understand the myth of cavemen riding dinosaurs and controlling fire is from archeologists in the 17/1800's, which actually creates this interesting paradigm where Gilgamesh's story is older than the caveman's, but the caveman's existence is older than Gilgamesh. Now, it's pretty damn ambiguous whether someone's existence or their story is what a Servant comes from, but given that Gilgamesh is a non-middle-eastern guy*

who wears armor and has more or less nothing to do with the Epic at all, I'd say existence.

The Caveman has nothing to do with it. I'm just wondering why people genderswap without the slightest explanation as to why this is the case.

And, uh... you don't get the 'has the originals of all Noble Phantasms' bit, do you? That is, he owned all Noble Phantasms bar those that had yet to be created (Excalibur and Karna's thing), before they became Noble Phantasms. Consequently, by definition, he must be the first Heroic Spirit, because otherwise it wouldn't be the originals. :/

Bah, we've had this argument before; it never goes anywhere.

Though I have to say... the actual history of the Earth and evolution probably doesn't apply here (physics didn't settle down until the end of the Age of Gods, apparently). XD

Do not be so constrained by the canon statistics of Servants from the Nasuverse on the whole. Pick a stat that you think fits and it can be discussed further if needed.

Furthermore, there are other myths that are technically older than Gil. His is just the first known myth that survived to the modern day. Thus, I don't actually think "being the oldest Servant" counts for much, and in fact, we had the big Lug as a Servant before!

Furthermore furthermore, the age of a myth is irrelevant. The Servants are based on their existences, not their myths, which makes Gil's status as "oldest Servant" not actually matter for much, just like how he isn't Iraqi and Arturia's a woman—that's what they were actually like in life, not how the legend portrayed them.

I'm just going to stick to pointing out that, if Gilgamesh existed in this world, no Servant can precede him, because they'd have no NP, which is... kind of an epic fail and something that defines a Heroic Spirit.

Bam, Musashi.

  • Class: Saber.
  • Master: Malcolm Blythe.
  • True Name: The Sword Saint, Miyamoto Musashi, The Two Skies.
  • Gender: Female.
  • Height/Weight: 170 cm/55 kg.
  • Alignment: Chaotic Good.
  • Appearance: Girl in the middle with two swords.
  • Personality: This Musashi remembers something of Malcolm. She is calm and focused on her dual goals of saving innocents and duelling strong swordsmen to prove her worth. She is less rash, and less prone to acts of stupidity, but underneath all that it's the same girl that thinks her swords can and will make a difference in a world full of misery.
  • Stats:
    • Strength: B.
    • Agility: A (A+).
    • Endurance: B.
    • Mana: D.
    • Luck: C.
    • Noble Phantasm: A.
  • Class Skills:
  • Personal Skills:
  • Noble Phantasms:
    • Hyōhō Niten Ichi-ryū, the School of the Strategy of Two Heavens as One (A-rank Anti-Unit): The crystallisation of Musashi's famous sword-fighting school, one technique which can even defeat Hiken: Tsubame Gaeshinote . It holds the concept of “Cutting”, and its execution depends on whether Musashi wields one sword or two; in either case it confers a rank-up to Agility while active.
One sword causes it to manifest as an impossibly fast charge followed by an even faster Cut.
Two swords cause it to manifest as a series of alternating cuts like flowing water, converging from all sides and terminating in an overhead cut which is nigh-impossible to dodge, with both swords.
    • Skill and Finesse, the Twin Bright Circle Swords of Heaven and Earth (D-rank Support): The state in which Musashi's swords are. No matter which two swords he currently wields, they count as D-class Noble Phantasms and change shape into those two swords. When wielded in conjunction with Hyōhō Niten Ichi-ryū, they strike with lightning and thunder.

Note: Reinforcement would not help her, at all. She can't effectively use it, and it doesn't make a noticeable impact on her abilities.

Her one attack is relatively easily dodged, and only leaves Magic Resistance if used.

Finally: she has no clue how to fight. She might be athletic, but she doesn't know the first thing about self-defence, let alone attacking. She'll avoid fighting wherever possible, because even though her chances of surviving are good, her chances of winning rely on lucky hits.

  • Name: Luíseach Solais
  • Faction: None, Has-a-Sealing-Designation
  • Age: 19
  • Gender: Female
  • Appearance: "Hm."
Not shown: her back. It's a somewhat chaotic mess of thick scars, a thaumaturgical crest with an uncanny resemblance to dried blood, and a tattoo of a black dragon. What's really baffling is that there's no clear order for the things—in some places the scarring overlays everything else, followed by crest then tattoo, in others the order is reversed. Every possibly permutation is evidenced, and it makes things rather... painful to follow.
  • Personality: Luíseach is rather... grumpy. Brusqueness is standard, imperfection that can be corrected isn't something to tolerate. She has a tendency to forget to treat people like... well, people, once she gets started on a goal, but that's more due to forgetfulness. Once she's set herself a task, Luíseach will see it through to the end—apparently the sunk costs fallacy has never been explained to her.
Not good with people at all, but doesn't have a desire to outright sacrifice them or any inclination to include 'kill good people' as a step on a plan.
  • Abilities:
    • Factor of the Dragon: Similar indeed to a certain British king, but much rougher and less refined—though, in doing so, it seems that her resemblance to a dragon is increased, and her ability to restrain her abilities diminished. In being a dragon given flesh in human form, Luíseach's resemblance to a human of this era is greatly reduced; especially as it seems that her abilities stem from a Divine Beast-class dragon.
Her odd status as something that should not exist in this day and age makes her a target of much interest to the Mage's Association... as well as any that would use her abilities to their own ends. Given that she risks exposing thaumaturgy simply by entering a populated area, and shows no respect for the organisation itself, it is no surprise that Luíseach has gained a Sealing Designation... though it's generally stipulated to try not to kill her.
      • Mana Core: In addition to normal magic circuits, though they are effectively nonfunctional save for channelling prana (and therefore of use in the creation of familiars), Luíseach has this: vast, almost impossible to empty reserves (that is, the requirements to drain her of prana are beyond normal magecraft) and production of mana, far beyond what a normal magic circuit could produce. This output, naturally, is a tremendous asset in the Holy Grail War, though even Luíseach would be cautious about reckless use of a Noble Phantasm.
      • Uncontrolled Prana Burst: Unless almost exhausted of prana, her body constantly expels prana. Effectively a superior form of Reinforcement, it gives her constant defensive power and both speed and offensive boosts—but she can't turn it off, and a loss of temper can devastate the scenery. It also makes her a blatantly obvious target to anyone who has some manner of detecting prana expenditure.
      • Dragon's Breath: Another double-edged sword, Luíseach constantly breathes out prana. Constantly. In fact, she's theorised that if you were to drown her, it would have absolutely no effect, because it certainly doesn't seem like she's breathing air. This means her surroundings are perfect fuel for magecraft—hers, enemies, sustaining Servants... indeed, it is a large contribution to the Mage's Association's interest in her: any mage that could keep Luíseach contained would be able to pull off insane feats due to the available power.
      • Finally... Magic Resistance: With the same origin as Saber's, it's safe to say that the reason she dreads the Enforcers is not for such reasons as an all-out magical brawl, but rather that they know this after the first time and have doubtless planned accordingly. In essence, her reasoning is simple: though she has never been caught in a strong enough spell to test her limits, it is clear that magecraft itself is not the most effective method for beating Luíseach. This means either lots of indirect fighting and other un-magelike tactics, against which she has few options but to stay on the run, or they gather anti-prana equipment due to time to prepare.
Its actual level is lower than a Servant with the same nature; without the boost provided by being a Heroic Spirit, it doesn't equal complete immunity to magical attacks—rather, it is a safe estimation that an accomplished magus' strongest attacks will break through, whilst routine spells or an inferior magus (such as Waver Velvet or Emiya Shirou) are best seeking out other means.
    • Elemental Affinity: Average One, though innately Air-aligned. The process to change it, and indeed increase it, was one of her few points of contact with the Mage's Association before gaining too much interest—partly because she withstood the process so easily, indicating that something so risky and draining was well within her abilities. Even so, the process certainly left scars...
    • Thaumaturgical Crest: Complete, but largely a substitute for actual training, this is almost useless to Luíseach, with the vast majority of its contents being Formalcraft that she has neither the time nor resources to effectively utilise, and the rest being taken up by basic alchemical concepts—again, not terribly helpful. As a point of showing off, it is extremely effective, as the sheer size and complexity details exactly how long her family has survived.
  • Background: The pinnacle of centuries of work, Luíseach was supposed to be the first step on achieving True Magic—first gain a source of nigh infinite mana, then utilise that to reach the Root. It would have worked far better if the procedure determined had not required transferring the entire Crest; by the time that was complete, too few blood relatives remained to actually complete the ritual. And so, the child went to the Mage's Association.
For a time, there was education, but after the incident that lead to altering her Elemental Affinity, and the increasing interest... well, she had to leave. Quickly. Before someone that she did not want to face took an interest in her. Subsequently, she's been on the run for... she doesn't know how long, but she lost contact with her mother three years back and has never looked back.
Presence in Hawai'i is a coincidence; she never expected to meet another magus out here. But with a situation such as this, where a Heroic Spirit can be summoned... she's not interested in winning the war, but having a near-perfect defence against Enforcers? Yes, please.
  • Assets:
    • A little money, but not really much. She's been delivering papers and working night-shifts in shops, and has at least found somewhere to stay.

  • Name: Malcolm Blythe

  • Faction: Church

  • Age: 35

  • Gender: Male

  • Description: A broad shouldered man in a cassock. He is of medium height and has a muscular build. His brown hair is neatly trimmed, in contrast to his cleanly shaven face. Malcolm smiles all of the time, giving off an air of ease and friendliness even in the midst of combat.

  • Personality: Malcolm is a very straightforward man, who does as he says and never lies even if it would benefit him. In fact, if he does speak, he tells the whole truth. Manipulation and deception are two things that he refuses to partake in. It does lead to moments where he is especially long-winded in his explanations, though. He is also a man filled with great happiness, who derives much satisfaction from the results of his work. As he kills the wicked and the heretical, it is the salvation of the innocent rather than the killing itself which brings him joy.
Thanks to Musashi's influence and his experiences at Careen City, his connection to non-believers is stronger than before. He can empathize with them now, instead of merely giving them a shallow sort of pity like he did before. He is more respectful and cooperative with people outside of his faith now, even showing mercy when it is appropriate. That said, he is still an Executor, a living weapon trained to kill the wicked. If not wielded for the benefit of all, heresy is something to be wiped out.

  • Abilities:
    • Executor: He has been trained to the peak of human physical ability, just like his fellow killers. They are the tools used to cleanse the world of monstrosities which should not be, and have been meticulously crafted to fit the demands of the Church. Whether it is with weapons or with his bare hands, he is more than capable of murdering the unholy creatures that defy the Church's doctrine.
    • Reinforcement: Malcolm is an expert in the use of reinforcement magecraft, which he mainly uses on his weapons. After seeing the case of Jessica Harway, he has refined his spellwork so that he may use Reinforcement for extended periods without causing strain.
    • Shroud of Saint Bessus: As long as he wears this holy shroud, Malcolm is exceptionally resistant to the attacks and spells of non-believers. The shroud's power obviously cannot withstand Servant-tier attacks, though it may be able to blunt them by a small degree.
    • Kenjutsu Expert: In the time after the Careen City Grail War, Malcolm sought out the Miyamoto family and trained with them in the art of kenjutsu, eventually becoming highly skilled with katanas.
    • No-Name: This Mystic Code katana is a highly durable weapon that is also capable of creating afterimages to confuse Malcolm's opponents. He claims that Julie D'Aubigny's Noble Phantasm inspired him to enchant this blade in such a fashion.

  • Bio: Raised as a Catholic, Malcolm was a faithful devotee to the teachings of God from the very beginning. He never bore a grudge against anybody, even as he was trained to become an Executor and eventually discovered his potential for magecraft. This attitude even grew to become pity for the people he exterminated, for they would not know the grace of God beyond death. As the years passed, this feeling of pity extended to even those who needed compassion but were not fellow believers in Christ. Having lived in Careen City as a pastor for the past few years, he was one of the agents of the Church chosen to investigate the incident in Archwood.
In the Careen War, Malcolm's partnership with Musashi changed him for the better. Having spent the intervening years between Careen and Akahele alternately training and helping out at his mother's orphanage, he was settling into his new routine when a certain call from a certain bishop convinced him to take a 'vacation' to Hawaii. Saying goodbye to his mother for what could be the last time, he took a private flight to the port city and fight once more to the site of the latest Grail War.

  • Assets:
    • Motel room downtown as well as a moderate amount of money.
    • A trunk full of one-handed melee weapons, none of which are magical. He is proficient in their use.
    • A two-seater Ford van in great condition.

In an attempt to not play 5 Master's this time around, my third shall be a Servant. Beware the Witch of Shadows who taught Cu Chulainn how to fight. (I hope the formatting sucks less this time)

Class: Lancer
Master: ???
True Name: Scáthach
Gender: Female
Height/ Weight: 5'10"/165 lbs.
Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
Appearance: Scáthach, just don't think that she wears the armor
Personality: Scáthach lived to fight and fight some more. She has the utmost of pride in her combat prowess and is undetered by others who claim to be equally skilled. When she is in combat she is deadly serious and cunning. She will use almost any means to get a victory and holds nothing back believing that using anything short of 100% is an insult to her opponent. Outside of battle she is not above having fun and she misses the joys of a more normal life that she denied herself before. Having lived a life of relative solitude as a result of her skill she will attempt to be friendly with her Master so long as they can earn her respect. This extends to other Servants as she is willing to extend her respect to those she deems worthy of it. Her wish in the war is to live again and die as a human woman.

Stats: (From E to A+, E being the worst, A+ being the highest)
Strength: B
Endurance: B
Agility: A+
Magical Energy: E
Luck: D
Noble Phantasm (Rank): A

Class Skills:

Magic Resistance (B): Cancel spells with a chant below three verses. Even if targeted by High-Thaumaturgy and Greater Rituals, it is difficult for her to be affected.

Personal Skills:

Eternal Arms Mastership (A+): Mastership of combat arts has reached the point of being said to be unrivaled in one's era. By complete merging of mind, body and technique, it is possible to make use of full fighting skills even when under the influence of any sort of mental hindrance.
Eye of the Mind (True) (B): Capable of calm analysis of battle conditions even when in danger and deduce an appropriate course of action after considering all possibilities to escape from a predicament. So long there is even a 1% chance of a comeback, this ability greatly improves the chances of winning.
Independent Action (C): Capable of remaining in this world for one day without an established contract.

Noble Phantasms:

Gae Bolg, Deadly Spear of the Shadow Witch (B, Anti-Unit): Scáthach never implimented the power of Cause/Effect ability like her pupil Cu Chulainn did but instead used the demonic spear as an unparalleled envoy of death in it's own way. This version of Gae Bolg allows her, for a low mana cost similar to Cu's version, make a successful hit more likely. When she speaks the name of the spear multiple barbs will thrust with the spear all with the same strength and speed. She can, to a degree, control where these barbs strike so they can come from odd angles that would normally be impossible. It should be noted that she could thrust the spear into the ground then have the barbs stab upwards thus attacking from beneath the ground.

Gae Bolg, Soaring Spear that Strikes with Death (B+, Anti-Army)

So... having heard about some changes... reapplying with Faust.

  • Class: Caster
  • Master: N/A
  • True Name: Amalie Georg Faust
  • Gender: Female
  • Height/ Weight: 134.62 cm/30kg
  • Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
  • Appearance: "You weren't expecting someone else, were you?"
  • Personality: Caster has a difficulty talking with people. Aside from her Master, she is timid around human beings. However, nonhumans(including other Servants) will be encountered with a girl who is something of a blabbermouth, releasing everything that she is too shy to say to humans in a semi-coherent stream of consciousness. She is even more willing to converse with the demonic entities she summons. She is heavily attached to a doll she refers to as Gretchen and will be upset by any attempts to take it away. Caster enjoys collecting stuffed animals, the weirder the better. But still huggable.
  • Stats:
    • Strength: E
    • Endurance: E
    • Agility: C
    • Magical Energy: A
    • Luck: B
    • Noble Phantasm: C
  • Class Skills:
    • Territory Creation: B
      • The skill to build a special terrain that is advantageous to oneself as a magus.
    • Magecraft: C
      • Knowledge about modern Magecraft.
  • Personal Skills:
    • Demon Summoning: A+++
      • Capable of summoning any kind of demon aside from True Devils, and harnessing them to do the Servant's bidding. Given that summoned demons are not magic, this allows the Servant to bypass magic resistance. Demons operate more competently and more powerfully based on their complexity. The longer it takes for the Servant to summon a demon, the more powerful and complex they will be. This is because the Servant "designs" the form of a demon as she summons them, as demons are naturally formless creatures. At maximum complexity, a demon summoned by the Servant is quite capable of harming Servants. However, it is far more easy to kill then a Servants. Lower levels of complexity, while dangerous, are little more then cannon fodder for most Servants even if they are capable of dealing damage.
  • Noble Phantasms:
    • The Night of Wallachia-Mephistopheles(C):
      • The fabled presence that Caster summoned in life, Mephistopheles is a dark, formless entity. By invoking its name, Caster can summon Mephistopheles to materialize the fears of her opponent. While she believes it to be a demon(and holds no love for it, unlike other entities she summons), Mephistopheles is actually the 13th Dead Apostle Ancestor, the Night of Wallachia. The fears it materializes will attack those who they were materialized from relentlessly, until they are killed or they kill their target. However, they are not extraordinarily powerful, and are very capable of being killed. Mephistopheles is capable of targeting hundreds at once. Caster deeply dislikes the idea of summoning Mephistopheles, and would restrict his abilities to only a few targets if summoned.
    • Gretchen, the Pure Maiden(D~A+):
      • Gretchen was Caster's closest friend in life. The Noble Phantasm transforms Caster's Gretchen doll into the real girl as Caster herself views her. An angelic existence, Gretchen possesses a personality of pure innocence. Her very presence and touch is damaging; While she can only exist for a few minutes at a time, she merely needs to touch a servant to do damage. However, to servants of good or neutral alignments, this damage is not severe unless contact is prolonged. However, when a servant of an evil alignment is touched by Gretchen, they will be burnt as if by intensely hot flames. This touch is lethal to evil-aligned servants if prolonged for ten seconds or more.
  • Misc: Caster was born as Amalie Georg Faust, the daughter of a German magus. Her Mother died of an ongoing illness only a year after Faust's birth, leaving her entirely in the care of her father. As Faust grew, her father realized that she had a rare and unique elemental affinity: Demons. Her father believed that an ability to summon demons with such an element would lead to reaching the root of all knowledge in his lifetime, and thus forced a young Faust to spend her time locked in her away, summoning demons. She managed to befriend another girl her age, named Gretchen, on one of the few days her father allowed to leave her home. However, her father continued to allow Faust and Gretchen to meet. Faust was not allowed to meet anyone else, as her father believed that further human interaction would distract her from her summonings. However, he allowed Gretchen to continue to visit Faust because the girl reminded him of his late wife. Eventually, after many summonings, Faust was pushed to summon more advanced presences... and inadvertently summoned the Dead Apostle Ancestor known as the Night of Wallachia. Deciding to toy with the girl, the Night of Wallachia claimed to be an advanced demon know as Mephistopheles, which was capable of granting wishes. Faust's sole wish, however, was that she could live with Gretchen without her father preventing her from leaving. The Night of Wallachia agreed, intending to feed upon her father to prevent his interference. One evening, when Faust's father was planning to do something truly terrible to Gretchen when she arrived, the Night of Wallachia consumed his blood, killing him. Gretchen and Faust escaped the house. The exact circumstances of their deaths are unknown, but it is likely that the Night of Wallachia had a hand in them.

So, scrapping Jack, since the other loli is back...

  • Class: Berserker
  • Master: ???
  • True Name: Achilles/Achilleia
  • Gender: Female, Reverse Trap
  • Height/Weight: Tall/Surprisingly Thin
  • Appearance: "I bound my breasts at war and dyed my hair at court. Of course I don't match the descriptions."
  • Personality: A selfish Blood Knight who's a pretty fine person to be around so long as you don't try to harm her, her friends, her stuff, or try and take any of it away. Glory is her highest priority—a Master that won't even allow Achilles to fight will quickly find their Servant impossible to control without Command Seals. Don't even think about trying to keep Mad Enhancement on long-term—remember the problem with long-term commands?
However, although Achilles lives to fight, she is extremely indifferent to most foes; the Trojan War and her own durability has left her jaded: what she wants is a challenge, something to get her blood racing. No challenge = no fun.
  • Stats, No ME:
    • Strength: B
    • Agility: A+
    • Endurance: E
    • Magical Energy: D
    • Luck: E
    • Noble Phantasm: A++
  • Class Skills:
    • Mad Enhancement: B
  • Personal Skills:
    • Born to Fight: A+. The evidenced result of being the best fighter of an era—despite basically no experience prior. This natural combat genius manifests as two skills—Eternal Arms' Mastership (A+) and Instinct (A). However, as it's not a skill gained through training, it is driven entirely by passion—and due to Achilles' difficulty in finding motivation, this leads to stringent requirements:
      1. The enemy must be a Servant or better. Anything else isn't worth the effort.
      2. The enemy must be a skilled and capable fighter. Saber, Archer, Lancer, Rider, or EAM Berserker. If a Servant isn't a capable fighter, then there is no reason to engage them seriously.
      3. The enemy must injure Achilles—and more than a scratch, at that. Even if they're both in the same class of entity, and the enemy is capable, they have to prove themselves.
Should these three conditions be met, Achilles always counts as having EAM A+ and Instinct A when fighting them.
Notably, however, Instinct will still function outside of a combat scenario—Achilles' apathy towards focusing on an uninteresting fight does not dull her reflexes. Consequently, getting the drop on her for a (supposed) OHKO is still difficult.
    • Charisma: C, Sufficient to lead an army. Almost entirely comes from actual physical attractiveness, personality-wise... Achilles is a terrible leader.
    • Divinity: A
    • Untameable: A. A skill representing Achilles' ability to overwhelm fate through sheer fury, and how nothing bar direct divine intervention could swerve her from fighting her enemies. In combat, this skill acts as a barrier to all mental commands and restrictions—even the power of command seals are blunted so long as Achilles fights. Because it merely stops others' attempts to control Achilles, Mad Enhancement functions as normal (as do illusions, attempts to instil false feelings, and similar)
  • Noble Phantasms:
    • Blessing of the Styx—Body Beyond Life: A++, Support. With her body effectively beyond this world anyway, most weapons will simply fail to do permanent damage, for the exact same reason that a normal person could stab Crimson Moon in the face all they want and achieve absolutely nothing except an annoyed vampire. Rather than taking no damage, any damage—no matter how serious, even if cursed—will regenerate. There's the same mythological weak-point on her heel, and the same items that would be effective against DAA's will have a permanent effect.
It's also not free regeneration. The Master will ultimately foot the bill to replace the destroyed body—though she can, naturally, use her own stores. However, the cost of rebuilding a completely destroyed body can be exceedingly high, and time consuming. As the rate of regeneration and build-up of mana for regeneration is tied to her Magical Energy stat, the cost of activating Mad Enhancement is extreme.
    • Divine Armament: C, Anti-Unit. Armour, shield, and spear, forged by divine hands during the Age of Gods—with no functions at all. Though of near incomparable quality, looking more fit to be above A-rank in power, they have less potency than even the most meagre of E-Rank armaments. Indeed—their strength is that they look strong. This also gives significant durability.
The armour doesn't seem to really help, however. It is, after all, mostly leather. And she never puts it on because... why even care?

  • Name: Orval Edelfelt
  • Age: 16
  • Gender: Male
  • Appearance: "Who's next?"
  • Personality: Put simply, Orval is a fighting nut. He lives and breathes combat, or any kind of competition, and like his sister, he has issues with perfectionism (just without the obsession with elegance). He works constantly to improve himself to make sure his kung-fu is better than yours, but not because he loves to brag, but because he loves to fight. He gets frustrated when he loses, but only because he knows he's outclassed and that he has room to improve. And he will work his ass off until he can beat you in round two. This highly competitive attitude might be a result of Orval's other hobby, namely fighting games and imported action anime that he's indulged in since he was a child. Yes, oddly enough for a mage obsessed with the primal expression of testosterone, Orval is kind of a closet geek, and is always trying to incorporate strategies and moves from fighting games and other sources into his own mix and match fighting style. He even bothered to learn physics and mathematics so he could better understand what he calls "the science of violence".
  • Bio: The younger of the two Edelfelt heirs, Orval spent most of his childhood engaging in some... odd hobbies. However, none of it seemed to impede his growth as a magus, so his family let him be. As a result, Orval is actually semi-competent with machinery, and can even do intermediate level programming and college level math. He may be a little strange by the average mage's standards, but he does live up to the Edelfelt legacy as a magus clan that breeds the finest mercenaries. Really, he just decided to enter the Grail War because he thought it was cool.
  • Abilities/Assets:
    • Gandr: Gandr (ガンド, Gando?) is a simple curse originated from Scandinavia that decreases the physical health of the target. Because the curse properly said is released from the caster’s index finger and the target must be within the field of vision to be aimed at, it is dubbed Gandr Shot. A Gandr with so much prana concentrated into it that becomes capable of physical interference is called Finn Shot. Rin Tohsaka’s Finn Shot has roughly the destructive power of a pistol bullet and while a single hit is not enough to kill someone, is still capable of knocking out a normal person. The Edelfelt are among the best Gandr-users in the world. As one of the next Edelfelt heirs, Orval is a master of the Gandr shot, and prizes it as his finishing move. Compared to the Finn Shot used by Rin Tohsaka, Orval's is magnitudes more powerful due to practice and over-specialization in the use of this one spell, making the output of his Finn Shot anywhere between a shotgun slug and a hand grenade depending on how much prana is expended.
    • Ore Scales: A unique Sorcery Trait that allows the Edelfelt clan to pass their Thaumaturgical Crest down to two different heirs, this inherited technique is what allows Orval and Luviagelita to both possess the Edelfelt family crest.
    • Rune magic: Besides his Gandr shot, Orval is fluent in runic magic, and can do things like establish bounded fields, inscribe enhancement runes, and use Ansuz to start fires. Much like Bazett, he usually uses it to augment his combat ability by using runes inscribed on his shoes and fingerless gloves.
    • Technomage: Or that's what he likes to call himself. Really, it just means he knows the difference between a VCR and a Bluray player, unlike a certain Average One...

This is really rough and unfinished. Gonna fill out the rest from my iPhone.

EDIT: Finished. Potential Master for Scatty is a go!

  • @Orval Edelfelt: Accepted.
  • @Achiles: Accepted.
  • @Faust: Accepted.
  • @Scathach: Accepted.
  • @Malcolm Blythe: Accepted.
  • @Musashi: Accepted.
  • @Luiseach Solais: After changes, accepted.
  • @Caveman: As funny as the concept is, rejected.

Some new ideas have been put into place in the RP and I'm here to say them. Essentially we've been really overcritical with Servants so we're allowing a bit of leeway for Noble Phantasms and etc. Though, like it was in the days of old, you have to talk to the person you're going to use it against and okay it with me if it's something excessive and affects multiple people in the game (this includes destroying a large environment).

Though Masters will still be judged in the same way as before.
