Vic Viper turns around and stares at the Death persona impassively... Before proceeding to mock it with a painfully fake cowboy drawl.

"Well now pardner, you hankerin' for a showdown?"

The mech even does a gunslinger pose to further mock it. This machine's AI is surprisingly human all things considered.

   (then fires a single shot into the air)   

   (cue a series of lightning bolts crashing down at all three of them)

Hit the deck! -leaps around to try and avoid the lightning bolts-

The Mech dodges the lightning bolt by jetting to the side.

"A showdown it is then pilgrim!"

Vic Viper responds by firing an inaccurate but furious barrage of plasma shots from its claw-like hands.

Damn!

-Jumps into a nearby cover, though a bolt and a plasma shot manages to graze his back-

   (floats sideways to avoid the incoming plasma bolts)   

   (then levels the revolvers at the group, unleashing hell of lead)   

XIII DEATH: THE REAPER

-gets blasted by the bullet hell-

Argh!

-To Stormer- Get to cover!

-Hunkers down, switches on the laser sight, and then returns fire with his SMG-

Vic Viper shields its head with its teeny tiny arms from the bullet storm, getting pockmarks on its frame and ruining its paintjob for its trouble. It quickly manages to transform back into fighter form and jets upwards before too much damage is done to it and then dive-bombs Death with Plasma Bombs and lasers.

   (gets hit by the SMG fire, but it doesn't seem like it minds it)   

   (it very much minds the bombardment though, flinching as it gets bombed down)   

   (fires into air once again after gathering itself, this time summoning gusts of razor-sharp wind to strike down the opposition and, if applicable, swat Viper out of the sky)

-Stormer quickly runs into the cafe, injured-

Vic Viper dodges the Razor gust with skill and more than a little crazy. Looks like Death chose the wrong place to fight the machine.

"You chose poorly outlaw!"

WEAPON SWITCH: MICRO MISSILE

The Mech builds some distance between it and Death before an absolutely massive swarm of ballpen-sized missiles shoot out of the back of the Transforming machine and converge upon the persona(?).

-The wind manages to cut his gun in half-

Fuck!

-Throws it away, and unclips a belt full of grenades-

   (it begins to slide backwards to avoid the barrage)   

   (it then proceeds to fire in the air yet again, but this time it summons a rather big fireball coming at Viper)

Heads up!

-Throws it at the Reaper, taking care so that it will wrap across his shoulder if it hits-

WEAPON SWITCH: RIPPLE SHOT

Vic Viper responds to the Fireball by firing its ring-lasers at it and then at Death before trying to get away from the thing, knowing that its going to do damage through an explosion.

   (begins shooting the grenades up)   

   (a couple of explosions do hit it, but it doesn't appear too phased)   

   (it then gets hit with the laser... and just up and disappears)

-The grenades doesn't explode, but instead release a cloud of smoke-

-Like, a big cloud of smoke-

-Switches on thermal vision and dashes straight at the Reaper, using the smoke as cover-

-Abruptly disappears midway-

Ah. Much better.

Vic Viper eases on the thrust upon noting that Death was gone.

"He'll be back..."

And then the Transforming mech zooms towards the applied robotics building. Presumably to get its paintjob fixed.
