The water is able to overcome the fire, but once again creates a shroud of steam, and the next thing Greninja knows:

...Natsu's flying out of the Smoke Shield, flaming fist first.

(and out of the cafe we go, Q)

(on the constant move to not get caught and, additionally, to find some way to reach Joshua)

-Joshua returns to the ground.

(takes notice of this and comes to a halt)

Hmph.(cracks knuckles before beginning to approach him again)

-Greninja makes a hand sign and remains stationary-

-... and then places a mat in front of him, slams one side, causing the other side to flip up. If this hits Natsu, he will be launched sky high and unable to avoid Greninja's next attack-

-Suddenly, a large blast of black lighting is shot out of Joshua's hand and toward Q.

Being the Idiot Hero that he is, Natsu falls right for this, and is launched sky-high...

...but flames form around his feet again, possibly making him not so helpless for the next part.

(jumps to the side to avoid the incoming doom, then resumes his unflinching stride towards Joshua)

-Greninja psyches himself up as Natsu is so high up that the full moon illuminates him, and Greninja lunges up as fast as he can and unleashes a barrage of Night Slash-

-Joshua fires more black lightning at Q, while surrounding him with black flames.

With the Night Slashes coming too fast for him to respond to, Natsu gets nailed with several vicious gashes, but as the final hit comes, he finally has the chance to retaliate with a flaming midair roundhouse.

His attack absorbs some, but not all, of the final strike's force -as well as possibly knocking back and/or damaging the Greninja- and he's slammed into the ground hard, but not quite as hard as he would have been.

Groaning at the bottom of a brand-new crater, Natsu grasps for consciousness like a true Shounen Protagonist.

(and it apparently worked to reduce the damage to zero. Perfect Parry, yo)

(dashes towards Joshua seeing that sooner or later he will run out of space to maneuver)

(goes for a slide kick at his knees)

-Greninja is knocked away by this, and regains his footing as he lands in a botched manner-

Hrm... -Greninja glares at Natsu, intrigued by his resolve-

Joshua reaches down to grab Q's leg.

(keep in mind, that won't be enough to stop the raw power of the kick)

Gritting his teeth, Natsu pushes himself back up to his feet, wiping blood away from his mouth.

"Now this... is what I call a match! Oh man, am I getting all fired up now!"

This kid... he just got beat up hard, and now he's up again and grinning like a loon?

That's a Shounen Protagonist for you!

Joshua has telekinesis.

After grabbing Q, Joshua attempts to throw him upwards.

...can you honestly tell me that he really has telekinesis in-game? Because considering how conveniently you didn't use it before and how the vague post of yours just now did nothing to specify so, I'm inclined to be doubtful.

(thrown into a wall)

(gets back up, dusting himself off)

(then charges again, repeating the old-school plan of "grab neck and slam to the ground")

-Greninja nods and performs another Shadow Sneak-

Groaning and rolling his eyes, but not losing his grin, Natsu glances around for the ninja, staying alert and on-guard.

-Greninja appears in front of Natsu, water daggers ready to slash-

I haven't used Joshua in a long time so I sometimes forget about his powers, but yes. He has telekinesis, among other powers. If he wanted to, he could make the moon crash into earth. That would be overpowered, though. Even if he DIDN'T have telekinesis, though, he could use one of the telekinesis pins to use it anyway. He once used it to stop bullets, for example.

Joshua fires more lightning at Q, hoping to tire him out.

Natsu grabs the Greninja's wrists, and proceeds to attempt to disarm the Greninja's right hand, while still holding onto its left wrist. If he succeeds, he will build up fire in his right hand, and use:

"Fire Dragon's Grip Strike!"

Which is basically a palm strike resulting in a large explosion.

Alright then.

(the man - we think - appears restless)

(while the first one hits him, he manages to get out of the way of others)

(as such he's currently not quite close enough to engage in melee, but at least he's closer than he used to)

Joshua returns to the air, firing down more pillars of light.
