Okay, then I'll start working on the character next morning. Now time for bath and bed.

Being lazy and posting what I have so far. Will finish in the morning. >.>

• Universe of Origin: Senki Zesshō Symphogear
• Personality: Hibiki's a kind-hearted, cheerful girl, who despite being a bit aloof occasionally still enjoys helping people; this is one of the reasons she fights the Noise using her Relic, although it could be argued she didn't really get a choice in the matter.
• Abilities/Weapons: Carries shards of the relic Gungnir in her body, effectively making her the Japanese schoolgirl version of Tony Stark. Only without the alcohol. Or the billions. But still totally the Japanese schoolgirl version of Tony Stark. However, the fact that her relic is even less complete than the so-called “incomplete” ones means she has to rely on fist-fighting for her attacks due to her inability to generate an “Armed Gear”. Did I mention that said relic is powered by hot-blooded singing?

Hello, I decided to write up a random character for Shadow Eternity.

• Name: Eternal
• Age: Ageless.
• Gender: Genderless, but refers to itself as male
• Appearance: "Now, enjoy eternal hell!"◊
• Canon, AU, or OC?: AU
• Universe of Origin: Kamen Rider Double
• Personality: Eternal has a unquestionable sense of loyalty towards his fellow members of Shadow Eternity, and especially to their master. Not to the point where if he was told to jump off a bridge, he'd do it without question, however. He personally believes that he is eternally living, even though all signs have pointed to that not being the case. He also picked up his master's trait of mentioning the afterlife, with his preferred mention being "Now, enjoy hell!". Once he's assigned on a mission, he will stop at hurting his allies in order to complete it, as per his loyalty.
• Abilities/Weapons:
  • Gaia Memory: Eternal is not human, but rather a suit of armor animated by the Eternal Gaia Memory's willpower, and thus its "soul" would be the Gaia Memory itself. This comes with its flaws and benefits. For one, destruction of Eternal's body does not mean death for him, but it's not a slap on the wrist. It will take time for him to reform and recreate the body, and that's only if the Memory itself is intact. If the Gaia Memory is destroyed in any way, Eternal is dead.
  • Eternal Edge: Eternal's main weapon is a knife that he uses. Alone, it is just a blade, but with the Eternal Memory inserted into its Maximum Slot, it is able to pull off a powerful energy slash known as the Bloody Hell Blade. One of the things separating this Gaia Memory from the Canon version is that it is unable to preform Anti-Magic on other Gaia Memories, or have any form of Anti-Magic to be used.
  • Maximum Slots: Eternal has on him a number of Maximum Slots, enough to house up to 26 Gaia Memories. However, he lacks 25 of them and only has his Eternal Memory. Inserting that in any of the slots will energize Eternal and allow him to harness all the powers of the Memory. He can then fire off a green energy blast towards his opponents.
• Backstory:
  • Before The Nail: The Eternal Memory is said to be the most stubborn memory by its researchers and creators, allowing compatibility with a select few people. They go as far as say it had a mind of its own, though the Gaia Memories are often said to be the ones picking their users instead of the other way around. It took several dozen users, but none of them deemed worthy for the Memory's full power. That is, however, until it fell into the hands of one man: Katsumi Daido. For whatever reason, be it that the Memory found him fighting for a tomorrow despite being a dead man compelling or that Daido's influence caused the Memory to cave and allow him full power, the Memory became compatible to Daido. In fact, it became more than just compatible. It became more aware of its surroundings, more aware of its capabilities, and more aware of what it is. However, after the first few battles, the Memory became damaged beyond repair and was left behind by Daido. What happens after was the driving nail that seperates this world from the Canon world.
  • After The Nail: Even if it was damaged, even if he was considered by its only compatible user as "useless", it refused to die. It refused to be junk. It wished to live up to its name. It wished to be like Daido. It wished to be: Eternal. And from there, the Memory developed a mind of its own, a true mind, and willed itself to work. Levitating in the air, it flew off in search for its master. It searched high and low for him, but was unable to find him. Little did the Memory know that Daido was killed a while afterwards. After days of searching for Daido, it nearly gave up. It wasn't until it was found by the very same scientists that tried to make the Memory work with so many different people before Daido. They were surprised that it was able to have a mind of its own and performed experiments on it, even going as far as testing it out on a device that would house it: The Lost Driver. However, once the Memory made contact with the Driver, that's when the scientists made their fatal mistake. The bonding between the Memory and the Driver caused the Memory to create a body of armor from its sheer willpower, creating Eternal as if he was worn by Daido himself. It then invited the Scientists to enjoy hell and killed them. It was there that it was scouted out by Shadow Eternity. Rather than show hostility to them, Eternal offered his skills, promising to himself that he will be as good, if not better than the man he bonded with.

Interested... Thinking of either a Post-NMH or Post-NMH 2 Travis Touchdown, re-imagined as a wandering ronin with magic swords at his disposal

• Gender: n/a (Identifies as male)
• Appearance: "POWEROFTHEPOWEROFTHEPOWEROFTHE-"◊
• Canon, AU, or OC?: Canon
• Universe of Origin: Marvel
• Personality: A patient although arrogant cosmic being who seeks to rule the entirety of the Multiverse and make it one with the Dark Dimension. While ruthlessly intelligent, Dormammu isn't capable of thinking on his feet. If something unexpected were to happen — well, there go his plans so he's really short-sighted. Dormammu only seems to show anything resembling positive emotions is toward his sister who seems like an empathetic Tsundere... so don't expect anything good out of him.
• Abilities/Weapons:
  • Sorcerory: Knowledge of ancient magics and their use. Favors conjuring of fireballs and blasting flames from his hands to burn away those who oppose him. Other examples of the power are: summoning a sphere of dark energy to intercept attacks or hurt the enemy, summoning a pillar of dark energy, firing meteors from the sky to pummel the enemy, etc.)
  • Interdimensional Teleportation: Capable of traveling to other dimensions through use of his powerful magic. Can also be used for teleportation while in a single dimension.
  • Elemental Control: Has control over fire, wind, earth, etc.
  • Size/Shape Alteration: Dormammu can manipulate his own size and shape due being a mass of energy.
  • Flight and Super Strength: Uses his magic to buff his strength and flight speed.
  • Weakened: Dormammu is CONSIDERALBY weaker while he is forced to physically represent himself. While forced to do this, Dormammu is capable of being harmed/killed by mortal means (this being by use of abilities, powers, magic, etc. that would be available to mortals), anything physical (bat, gun, etc.) would be a tough job.
• Backstory: Dormammu is presented as the most powerful and malevolent of "the Faltine", higher-dimensional mystical energy beings. Not native to the "Dark Dimension", Dormammu and "his" sibling Umar were exiled for slaying their progenitor "Sinifer" (and what was considered a morbid/unclean obsession with physical matter), whereupon they journeyed there in search of experience, and assumed corporeal forms. Dormammu merged with the local "Flames of Regency" to further enhance his power, and returned to an energy state, whereas Umar had grown accustomed to physical pleasure. After imprisoning the horde of marauding virtually unstoppable Mindless Ones behind a barrier Dormammu enslaved the entire realm to be worshiped as its sole deity, and continued to gradually merge other mystical universes to his own, while spreading his worship to any sorcerers throughout the multiverse who invoked his powers.

Before I post my character I want to know if this kind of power is acceptable.

So the guy is OC from Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, and he possesses a Stand (kind of humanoid psychic/spiritual manifestation of your powers, common in Jojo's Bizarre Adventure) called "Back in USSR" (like most Stands, named after music reference, obviously ). It's powers, except for punching people really hard in specific range (things many Stands share), he has ability inspired by Russian reversal meme. The Stand user picks one property of other object/person and reverses it temporarily. It can be concrete properties like magnetic flow or abstract like personality of opponent. Drawbacks is that he can only reverse one property at a time and affect only object/person at a time. For example, he could reverse trajectory of a bullet (Stands can be pretty fast), but it is impossible to reverse more than one bullet.

Don't worry, Anno knows what Stands are. She's had me to prattle on about Jojos to her for a while now. >.>

Yeah, I mostly stick solely to the RP boards for... Reasons I'd rather not go into. But yeah.

In other words, AU!Dr.Cossack/Gordon Freeman modeled partly after Diavolo. His Stand could be modeled after one of Dr. Cossack's Robot Masters. I have an art in my stash with Stand!Skullman and JJBA!Kalinka (Dr. Cossack's daughter if you haven't played Classic Mega Mans)

So um, I think this sounds like it could be really awesome. So um. Here's a character, from a favorite video game of mine.

• Name: Eclaire "Lightning" Farron (Only known my her nickname.)
• Age: 21
• Gender: Female
• Appearance: Lightning.◊ It flashes bright,◊ then fades away.◊ It can't protect.◊ It only destroys.◊
• Canon, AU, or OC?: AU, in which the events of Final Fantasy XIII-2 never happened.
• Universe of Origin: Final Fantasy XIII
• Personality: Lightning is determined, concentrated, and independent. At first, she was kind of a bitch, but when she took Hope under her wing, she learned to show trust and compassion for others, and realized the error of her ways. Now, she expresses her emotions more and knows when to ask others for help.
• Abilities/Weapons:
  • Blazefire Saber,◊ her gunblade.
  • She also has a Gravi-Con Unit which, once activated, makes a gravitational field allowing her to perform feats of near-superhuman agility and survive falls from immense highs that would normally result in death. However since it uses a lot of manadrive, it can only be used once every few hours (and it apparently also breaks very easily).
  • Despite having woken from crystal stasis, she still has her l'Cie powers, if not her mark, thanks to Etro. She knows all the Thunder, Ruin, and Cure spells, as well as Fire, Blizzard, and Aero up to the -ra level.
  • Equally proficient in both magic and physical attacks, making her a very versatile fighter, however she has very low HP (unless Hit Points aren't a thing in this RP, in which case, she... is easily KO'd, I guess? :U)
  • Can summon Odin, a lightning-elemental which briefly aids her in battle. It employs powerful lightning-based attacks and devastating physical attacks, and is immune to Thunder spells. It can also transform into a horse, Sleipnir, which Lightning can ride in battle. If she is KO'd in battle and Odin is with her, he can revive her, but immediately disappears. Both forms can be seen here for convenience.◊
• Backstory: Here, read this. Once her world entered the muliverse, UMMA immediately heard about the bravery and leadership she showed during her adventure, and decided to recruit her.

@Ragna: The only thing holding me back from accepting is if he can be hurt at all or not while in his energy form. Even if it's not necessarily killed in that form, if he has to be forced to manifest physically it would be good for there to be some way to beat him otherwise.

@Katsura: That sounds really cool, actually, but I'm, um, kind of not so keen on the reversal of things about people.

@Brahian: I'm not seeing any issues with Lightning, so she's accepted. Though "HP" isn't a thing in this RP, so it'd just be that she takes hits pretty hard or something.

Edit: Wait wait wait, what's with this Heart of Chaos thing? How would it effect the universe as a whole? Also, could you elaborate on why he's called an immortal?

Well, yeah. If he were to be killed, it would kind of destroy the universe. It's the reason he wants to be killed. Would this be a problem?

He's immortal, because... Well, unless he's killed, he doesn't die. That's pretty much the gist of it.

Yes, yes it would. Regardless of other traits, he's not getting in like that.

Okay, maybe I could add something like, it only destroys the universe he came from? Or would you rather I just remove it completely?

If he can be killed, I'm okay with letting him be immortal. My main issues are the huge amounts of destruction that would result from his death. However, that seems to be an important part of his character. I think there might be some way to balance this out, though... hm.

Also, I've heard that he exists in every point and time, and killing him unless you're the right person would just make him pop up again. Is this the case?

Er, no. He can visit any point in time at will, but if he's killed (which can really be done by any one, it's just extremely hard) he stops existing (although it is possible he could show up again in the future, but it would be in his past, if that makes sense).

Yeah, so no Heart of Chaos then? Or at least some version of it that doesn't destroy universes?

Hmm... Um, I'm... not sure I quite understand.

As for the Heart of Chaos, try the latter option and see if you can work out something that will work.

Well, things do get a little complicated when it comes to time travel. Say he goes to the future and stays there for a bit. Then he goes back to the past, and someone kills him there. By the time the future comes around, he'll be there, even though he was killed in the past. Does that make sense?
