The clowns are just too oppressive in their existence.
Victims of their own popularity really, they have been officially run into the ground because companies don't know when enough is enough and enable writer favoritism to go unimpeded.
Look at Marvel. Wolverine took over the movie franchise taking 6 movies for himself, got hundreds of spin-offs, is a member of 50 teams at once, and is portrayed as the most morally resolute pure authority who is never wrong like in Wolverine & the X-Men and all of the Schism status quo in the comics.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."At least Wolverine is one of the good guys. Would a great torment for the Joker be to keep him in a literally inescapable Gilded Cage and not hurt him? Just treat him like a pet or something. How about an elseworld where Kryptonians came in large enough numbers to turn the Earth into a Gilded Cage? They are nice to the Puny Earthlings in an Innocent Bigot kind of way. It isn't terrible, but not ideal either. They're just way too overprotective and stick any bad people in Gilded Cages.
No. Now Joker should just die.
Harley, I think is ultimately harmless on her own. She still needs to pay for Metropolis, but just sending her to the Phantom Zone is a good enough punishment.
Joker on the other hand...well, there's an entire movie about why sending him to the Phantom Zone wouldn't work.
But yeah. I don't trust him alive. Vaporize his ass and then vaporize the dust.
One Strip! One Strip!I'd just have Bane slap Joker around and show him that he's not top dog especially to a guy as intelligent as him who can also snap him like a toothpick.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."If I was Batman, I’d gather up a room full of families victimized by the Joker, get the Joker in that room, and then leave them to deal with him as they please.
It's been 3000 years…Yeah, I don't even like Harley Quinn and this whole conversation is getting tired and, to be honest, borderline(?) masturbatory.

Batman Vs Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles does earn its PG-13 rating, but the fact that it's specifically co-produced by Nickelodeon Animation (with this being the first animated PG-13 Nickelodeon movie, as well as the first animated TMNT project to be rated PG-13) probably explains why it's on the lighter end of PG-13 when looking at it as a DC movie.
I mean, most of the deaths that are shown are mainly with minor characters (like the security guard getting his head chopped off). The possible exceptions are with Two Face and Mr. Freeze, but those are kept ambiguous, and it's been awhile since I saw the movie, so I might be getting the details wrong. Compared to a regular PG-13 or R rated DC movie, where they would not hesitate to directly kill major characters onscreen. The swearing is also kept to a more moderate degree, and doesn't go beyond stuff like "Damn", "hell", and "sucks", and the violence is also more moderate. It's no wonder that, when the movie did air on Nicktoons Network and edited down to a hard PG rating, most of it was kept intact.
@Weirdguy Something like that happened once. Greving man put a bounty on Joker's head so Batman left him alone with tied up Joker so he can kill him himself. He couldn't do it.
I just think the way they had the joker get killed was too gross. Hypoxia at least wouldn't look disgusting. And it doesn't have to last until cardiac arrest. Fake Joker's death and he can be imprisoned in Supes' alien zoo.
A PG-13 / R rating wouldn't differentiate between supporting or main character in terms of whether on-screen deaths deserve the rating or not.
IIRC, Batman vs Ninja Turtles had a bit where a guy gets shurikened in the face front and center onscreen, which is pretty hardcore. Also Ra's' rampage through Arkham.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.Green Lantern: Beware My Power has been rated PG-13 for "some strong violence, bloody images and partial nudity." I'm going to assume Tim Sheridan scripted this one, since he made sure to get Superman naked in Man of Tomorrow.
The five best Superman writers are Dan Jurgens, Jeph Loeb, Geoff Johns, Kurt Busiek, and Peter J. Tomasi.Do we have any idea which GL this will be about?
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Here are some images of spine art for Batman: The Long Halloween Part II. I found these on the CBR forums. I'm not 100% sure the second is genuine, although the person who posted it thinks it is. Both images suggest a particular Lantern.

Its sad for Guy, Kyle, or Simon, the last especially has he still hasn't appeared in anything yet.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Everything you just said was right.
I'm really looking forward to Beware My Power!

The five best Superman writers are Dan Jurgens, Jeph Loeb, Geoff Johns, Kurt Busiek, and Peter J. Tomasi.Eh. Guy had Batman the Brave and the Bold, and he's also been in Young Justice.
Ok then. Sadder for Kyle and especially Simon.
Oh man. Simon hasn't gotten anything since his creation outside of comic appearances. What's up with that DC?
One Strip! One Strip!Hopefully John will be treated with more dignity than Hal has been for like the last decade.
Wake me up at your own risk.I'm sure he will.
And anyway, Hal still has Green Lantern: The Animated Series, and the first injustice game, or rather, his non regime self in the first Injustice game.
One Strip! One Strip! And First Flight and Emerald Knights.

The five best Superman writers are Dan Jurgens, Jeph Loeb, Geoff Johns, Kurt Busiek, and Peter J. Tomasi. He is also pretty good in Injustice 2 having fully committed to righting his past mistakes and in a cool moment shrugging off Atrocitus's attempted brainwashing through the red ring.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."I just confirmed that the second image where John is undoubtedly visible is genuine. You can see it on British Amazon.
The five best Superman writers are Dan Jurgens, Jeph Loeb, Geoff Johns, Kurt Busiek, and Peter J. Tomasi.Oh right John is also gonna appear in the upcoming Suicide Squad game as a boss.
So add in appearance in a Triple-A video-game at that.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."This may be off-topic, but I'd like to say that I think that game is a bit of a waste. A Suicide Squad game should be about sneaking into countries like Kahndaq, Rheelasia, or Markovia and doing dangerous but morally questionable black ops missions in them. It should be tonally similar to the movie American Made (i.e. thrilling but not heroic). Fighting a mind-controlled Justice League to save Metropolis doesn't exactly scream "Suicide Squad", (it's about as not-Squad a premise as "fight a witch and her zombie army in Midway City") and if you're going to create an open-world Metropolis full of Brainiac drones why not make it a Superman game?

Fine. Stick both clowns in a Gilded Cage that they can't escape from. The phatmon zone might not be good enough. Take one out every so often for extreme amusement rides. It's not torture. Nightwing would love it.
