For better context, imagine the above line spoken in James Hong's voice.
With all the memes about women choosing a bear over a man, Hollywood might wanna get on an 'East of the Sun and West of the Moon' adaptationMushu: Urgent news from the General!... What's the matter? Never seen a black-and-white before?

Apparently, 2021, the 10 year anniversary of Disney Junior, will have 4 shows premiere this year.
Hm. Honestly had thought Disney Jr. was older than that.
With all the memes about women choosing a bear over a man, Hollywood might wanna get on an 'East of the Sun and West of the Moon' adaptationWell, there was Playhouse Disney, which, AFAIR, was the same thing in all but name, so you aren't necessarily entirely wrong.
SoundCloudAh, nothing like finding some animation cels for one episode of The Wonderful World of Color only to find out from one of those cel descriptions that they're from an episode that never got made DX
I still would find that pretty cool. Provided there was some way of authenticating them.
With all the memes about women choosing a bear over a man, Hollywood might wanna get on an 'East of the Sun and West of the Moon' adaptationYeah, true enough. Still would have been nice if it'd gotten made though.
Disney doesn't have a channel for "classic shows" right?
One where they air only their pre-2000 stuff? There's not one I know of.
Basically Boomerang before Boomerang had a channel decay.
Disney Channel had the late night block "Vault Disney".
Vault Disney is a pretty good pun.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with? It's ratings time. For March 6, Amphibia got 410,000 views while Big City Greens got 406,000 views.

This is pretty strange, yet also enjoyable.
Dumbo, Peter Pan, and The Aristocats were all removed from children's profiles on Disney plus because they all have racist stuff in them. Well, they actually did it months ago and people are just now noticing thanks to the whole Dr. Seuss thing.
Did a double take when I read The Aristocats' name, but then I remembered one of O'Malley's friends was a racist Chinese caricature.
Man, it's weird how one can tune out certain uncool aspects like that on a subconscious level...

It was one of the weirder cases since it was basically hearing Tigger do racist stand up.
There were two, actually, they also had Siamese twin cats who were also rather stereotypical.
Optimism is a duty. That was Lady and the Tramp.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.Oh, then I was confused.
Optimism is a duty.I never thought the Siamese Cats in Lady and the Tramp looked like racist caricatures; they just looked like cartoon cats to me (though I suppose one could argue that their eyes didn't need to be quite so slanted). They sure sound like racist caricatures, though.

Compare them to all the other non-racial stereotype cats in The Aristocats and the contrast is evident.
The Siamese cats are a white singer Peggy Lee doing an Asian accent. That's pretty problematic right there.

Mulan has one of my favorite examples of The Comically Serious. XD
