Anyway, I'll just sit back and see how things start out—unless somebody decides to get the Nættir involved already (or, more likely, I get a plot bunny of an intro for Vesper), I don't have too much to do other than work more on my Cyber twins.

I remember a reason why I enjoy R Ps—the constant changes give you new insights/ideas on how your characters behave.

(Like how Vesper would react when seeing the product of magic smithing/Cybernetics up close for the first time. Or her thought process when seeing a wagon with a chimney.)

(EDIT: I had way too much fun writing (i.e., laughing at) a confused-as-hell Vesper—whose probably gonna have a bit of an awkward situation if she doesn't realize soon that she's still standing right in the middle of the road. I think midnight might be making me into a bit of a loon…)

It's really just a mobile forge. The chimney is for the smoke from the fire, when its lit. But since she's got a bed in there as well, I guess it is a mobile home too...

And strangers meeting on the road is practically a staple of fantasy games.

Yeah, but we're talking about a character whose actively avoided contact from most of civilization—and who probably lacks a little bit of imagination because of it. She should get over it after maybe a week or two, at max.

You've got a lift into town if you both want one. Don't mind the metal dog in the back..

Well, I said "almost" for a reason. Also, Chiko's being all skittish and shit in a forest, so she's not coming back anytime soon.

Probably a good idea considering the Paladin and Katerina are mulling about town. Don't want her to have a heart attack!

(Those heartbreaking moments when you write an entire passage involving internal warfare, and then you have to delete it all because it completely conflicts with a new post. Well, at least it keeps you on your toes.)
