Fandom was a mistake.

It was marketed in completely the wrong way, really iffy barely a 'crossover' crossover and not to mention censored 3 times now.

The whole thing was bungled from the word go. Making an actual Atlus style Fire emblem crossover ala what Hyrule Warriors did for Zelda would have been a home run.

An actual Atlus Idol game that was allowed to actually be more direct about Idols than even P4's whitewashing would have been another home run.

This those its a flyout.

Exactly do P5 Strikers, but with Fire Emblem added in best of both worlds.

Tsubasa's Cross Bravery is probably my favorite of the new costumes thus far. The extra session attacks make a pretty noticeable difference, so those alone make this version slightly easier.

Your preferences are not everyone else's preferences.

I have Touma dressed up as Walter right now, and I can't help but laugh every time he activates the Ad-Lib where he dresses up as a horned tokusatsu villain. Mostly because said villain reminds me of the Minotaur, and anyone who's played Shin Megami Tensei IV can attest that Walter and the Minotaur is not a good match-up.

Strikers isnt a crossover. Its just a straight up Persona 5 sequel with a Warriors game coat of paint. To a massive fault IMO as its lacking in the amount of characters available.

The only Persona crossover we have gotten is the P4 Fighting games which include P3 and P4 characters.

You'll probably be able to buy more characters as DLC soon enough.

It would have been the same garbage rehash of past characters because they refuse to use characters before P3 and we don't need more of that crap. Hell Ultimax sucked because the P4 story was just plain bad with its only saving grace being playable Rise.

While the much better written and cooler P3 Route where Labrys punches the Final Boss to death is the non-canon route.

Adachi was DLC.

The crossover Persona cast games honestly end up held back by being crossovers. Or no one buys them ala the Dancing P3/P5 Games which sold better than PQ 2 which is like their only saving grace.

My favorite ending was the one where Elizabeth shows up and casually ruins the entire farce of the story by accident.

Yeah that was in the first P4 Arena, where the plots were almost near identical.

Honestly the P 4 A manga did great by just making the main character Yosuke and teaming up with Aigis to beat Shadow Labrys.

The Dancing Game that focused on Idols had one of the better stories surprisingly for P4, and PQ games do decently story wise conpared to others, but they're bloated corpses with too many characters.

The fact that they don't get truly wild with the stories is honestly one of the faults I have with the P4 spinoffs, not to mention nothing major could happen thanks to Golden Epilogue.

Thats why a P5-2 is honestly a smarter idea for a game than shove a bunch of characters in a story inconsequential to the original cast who regress back their character to be all about the gimmicks.

Edit: Yeah I still enjoy the game on the Wii U despite loading times.

Well I disagree, they have a real chance to make a non-corrupt Great Detective vs Phantom Thief plot with the P4 and P5 casts. Naoto vs Joker.

But getting side tracked in this thread.

That was never going to happen because canonically Joker remembers Hikari and PQ 2.

Not to mention Naoto willingly working for the corrupt police. With our new guy Zenkichi it makes more sense, especially depending on what part of his personas myth they use. Can't get any worse than Haru having M'lady solely because of the "Marry Fiance for Dads Evil Plan" when the whole thing is that she was a willing accomplice in the Three Musketeers and a villain like her dad.

Depending on how it sells a sequel is more likely. Atlus doesn't do the dlc practices over huge swathes of time like bigger companies do since they have to move on to other games. Kingdom Hearts by Square for example has its updated release be in DLC form since DLC means they no longer have to sell full priced physical copies of the Remixes every time with the new confent.

Atlus usually has the DLC for SMT/Persona games out within the first few months.

DLC? No. Most Atlus DLC is small grind or grind-avoidance DLC, small single scenes, and costumes. All of those were in the Wii U version of TMS in Japan, and were bundled with the Western release.

These updated rereleases are Atlus’s typical pattern instead of DLC.
