Nope. Instead, they have Warner Bros. Interactive as the publisher.
For what it's worth, the DRM on vanilla Witcher 2 was neither intrusive nor strict with any sort of install limits.

New trailer. Emhyr looks a bit older than I thought. Looks like Ciri's back and Emhyr wants her dead even though he damn well knows that would probably doom the world. Kind of a dumb move for someone who was a Magnificent Bastard in the books.
It's a shame that I haven't played either of the first two games because this looks like it can be really awesome :(
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.I just want it. So. Bad.
Means I really should finish number 2... which I will! Totally.
If i can remember what i was doing in that save and how to fight properly.
Sorry to double post but here's something interesting:
Steam have done an accounting error and (in the UK store at least) are offering Witcher 3 preorders at 27% off their price. About £6 cheaper than GOG (Even with gog's 27% off) Admittedly CDPR are giving offer codes for other GOG titles, but it looks like Steam is trying to grab a slice early via the "error".
Not that I'm claiming they would of course!
Of course.
And my god that trailer was drool worthy.
But now I realize even my new rig is out of date (Mostly because I went cheap on my GPU...)
Huh, so the Lion Cub of Cintra is gonna be in this game? Nice, makes me wanna get it even more.
I'm more excited about Dijkstra. He was one of my favorites and I love how they went full Face of a Thug with his character design.

Hey, just saw the trailer and loved it, but do I have to have had played The Witcher 1 and 2 for this to make sense?
noisivelet naht nuf erom era srorrimIt's probably recommended. I haven't played either game (I tried playing 2 but I got frustrated with the combat and autosave systems and quit)
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.Warning: there's been a massive leak of the Witcher 3 design documents, which CD Projekt Red acknowledges as being real. So it's probably best to avoid online discussions of this game if you're like me and don't want to get spoiled.
Snape kills Dumbledore
Ugh, I'm so annoyed. I bought both Witcher games to play in preparation for this one on Steam during the summer sale, and now the first one won't work no matter what I try. The second one works perfectly but for some reason the first one outright refuses to work.
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.If you have the CD key, you can get the digital version from GOG free. Plus you can pre-order W3 at a discount.
And get extra cash for more stuff off GOG.
Of course if it's the digital version you bought, erm... not sure.
Is it graphical, driver related? Or just the exe not wanting to boot?
On the subject of W3 that leak did specifically say that they only had a woman in the E3 presentation for "Bewbage", but tbh... that is in keeping with the universe. A shame but meh. Still looking forwards to the game. Going to try a second run through of W2, may go the Roche route this time. Or Iorveth again and rescue Triss rather than Philippa.
Wasn't too keen on Radovid... well, anyway. Love the insane number of ending permeations.
Yeah, I eventually did that and it's working fine. I'm still on Act 1, been going around doing quests, hunting monsters, the usual things I'm having a lot of fun with this so far.
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.I think I missed a couple of things in the Witcher, but did my best to trawl EVERYTHING I could.
Are you trying for the Order, Neutral or Scoiatel path yet?
And how're you find the combat versus the sequel? I quite enjoyed the Witcher one's approach. Mainly the group style, as you looked a badass scything through drowners.
I've only played the second game a little bit (quit out of frustration eventually a little ways in) but once I beat this game I plan on trying it again.
So far the combat is pretty nice. Somewhat monotonous but I like how smooth Geralt moves even in a game as dated as this. It also took me a bit to figure out how to level my stuff up but now I've figured it out XD And I also plan on going neutral. I'm well aware of the Squirrel reputation and I've spoiled myself a bunch on how the game goes (I watched a video on Youtube that gave a good summary of the plot)

That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.Finally saw the E3 trailer. Damn, that was pretty sexy.
What are the odds of a playable Ciri down the line?
I'm having trouble remembering what makes Nilfgaard so much worse than the other kingdoms, invasion aside.
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult.I guess it would pretty much be simply that it's trying to conquer the world. Hell I killed Henselt because I thought "Emrys can't be much worse."
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.Oh my gosh, that looks so much better than the second game. The textures and whatnot are so much better.
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.Reading through the books, I think a problem with the games is that they didn't do enough to show how evil Nilfgaard or the Scoia'tael are. IN the games they don't come off much worse than the other kingdom rulers, which makes it sort of hard to get behind anything, while in the books they're real rat bastards.
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult. So, beat 2 today. DAMN those credits were long >_<
But anyway I can't help but feel that I may have goofed rescuing Anais instead of Triss, even if Temeria remains united...I wonder how the lack of many sorceresses and mages in the North is going to affect the third game.

@Nettacki: How are they doing that? They don't have Namco-Bandai/Atari as publisher anymore?
Edit: seems so, Atari is bankrupt and NB is down to distributor role. Good thing, Atari and NB was being an ass about DRM for Witcher 2...

Give me cute or give me...something?
