If we end up seeing a sequel, there's no way he isn't going full robot. It would fit his in-game backstory and he'll need a reason to make the Biobliterator for the reboot take on UYA.

Bumbleby is best ship. busy spending time on r/RWBY and r/anime. Unapologetic SocialistDemo of the introduction + the first stage, it's all been retooled quite a bit. Also the release date is apparently set to April 12th, if that isn't old news.
edit: I went and rewatched the movie trailer and the sequence where they meet up looks like it's pretty much the same one, heh.

Necroing because...
I kinda decided not to watch them so as to retain the element of being surprised.
So, I've decided to necro this thread so I can ask if the new remake of the original game is... well, any good.
I used to play the original game all the damn time. It was the only Ratchet & Clank game I could play for several years, before I bought Going Commando about a decade after it was released. Thus, I think I might have Nostalgia Filter-induced high standards. I don't know because I haven't played it yet. In fact, I don't think it's even out in the UK yet, which is odd, since Insomniac is a British company, but whatever which is to be totally expected, since they're not a British company. >_>
I was a little afraid that they've turned down the difficulty somewhat and replaced all the funky music that deserves to be remixed more often (especially this. Beeeooooowwwwww.... beeeeooooowwww... okay, I'll stop), but on the other hand, I was very pleased to learn that pretty much all of the planets from the original game are returning. Yes, even Oltanis.
EDIT: Okay, so I might have been wrong about Oltanis coming back, I'm not sure. The wiki kind of flip-flops on the subject. :V

"If you think like a child, you will do a child's work."...Insomniac isn't a British company. Are you maybe thinking of Rare?
Switch FC code: SW-4420-1809-1805Shit, you're right. They were based in Burbank, weren't they. Now I look like an idiot.
"If you think like a child, you will do a child's work."The Remake is a solid entry in the R&C series. It also has a few neat surprises, while a lot of it is the same as the original. It's actually an interesting little experiment to see what they kept, what they changed and how their game philosophy has evolved over the years.
Also, if you start on Hard, be aware that it is fairly challenging.
Also, 30fps max, but it is a solid framerate. I rarely saw it falter.
...I hope the film's good. I imagine R&C fans will like it more than film critics with this film as their only point of entry.
It's also most definitely out in the UK seeing as it was the single best selling game of said nation at the time of release, tripling the first day sales of A Crack In Time. The comments also suggest the difficulty is still intact.
Which bodes very well for further installments, I should hope *pops the champagne* unless the movie bombs horrifically
So for those of you who have played the game, what's your favourite weapon in it?

The animation was good, but some of that voice work was pretty bad.
Maybe it was just especially noticeable to me, since I'm a big fan of both Ratchet and Clank & Jak and Daxter.
Dreamkeepers Prelude, check it out!No, I agree, that voice work was more cringeworthy than Ubisoft at E3.
I love both and approve of the ending even though I like Jak more, because let's face it, Ratchet's arsenal is OP as fuck. That said I did notice two things I would change: 1) Light Jak never uses his shield, yet Ratchet uses two different shields, and 2) Daxter never uses Dark Daxter - I'd like to forget TLF never happened as much as anyone else, but that's where Jak's Green Eco shield is from, so not including it just screams of inconsistency, especially if Clank gets to use both his jet pack and time powers.
PSN ID: FateSeraph | Switch friendcode: SW-0145-8835-0610 Congratulations! She/TheySo, from what I can tell thus far, the movie hasn't been getting particularly good reviews. I guess it was naive of me to think a video game movie could be received well, after all. :V
But putting that aside, I trust this will have no bearing on the actual games. I mean, there have been plenty of video game franchises that received terrible movies that didn't damage their reputation as game franchises any, like Tomb Raider and Mortal Kombat, amongst others. ...Right? ;>_>;
"If you think like a child, you will do a child's work."What? No!
It's...it's probably nothing major. Maybe it's just blockheads being blockheads. A bunch of punks just giving this movie bad reviews just For the Evulz.
I mean, the crew worked with Insomniac themselves on this! They got James Arnold Taylor, Dvid Kaye, Jim Ward, and Armin Schimmerman in their roles from the games! The director said exactly what we were thinking regarding bad video game movies! Everything's foolproof!
This could only be possible if Uwe Boll was somehow involved in this!

To be fair, right now it's just out of 15 reviewers, so maybe it'll change. Regardless though, this is not off to a good start.
On the other hand, part of me wonders if the stigma of past video game movies is still around and people are afraid to say nice things about them because they think they'll be the laughing stock of the internet or something. It's really weird, because this movie looked so promising and I also am kinda surprised it's getting these types of reviews so far.

"I shall not be foolish again, my dear Gwendolyn!"@Death Battle: Yeah the voicework was definitely terrible, everyone sounded so... off. Another thing that really annoys me is that the Groovitron was in the analysis but not the video, and the liquid nitrogen gun was in the video but not the analysis. especially since the Liquid Nitrogen gun was what dealt the killing blow
@Movie Reviews: I wouldn't be worried just yet, but it would be something worth looking out for.
I do writing, feel free to check out my stories here! https://numbugwritingblog.tumblr.com/post/686233243868102656/numbugs-shared-heroic-uniDeath Battle tends to do that - it's really a matter of whether or not it would actually be needed in the fight (examples: Superman Vs. Goku Round 2 had Superman armed with his New 52 explosion power but he never used it, Deadpool Vs. Deathstroke had Deadpool armed with a "continuity gem" that went unused).
Long live Cinematech. FC:0259-0435-4987The future refused to change....
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Well I can understand if a tool, while normally useful, isn't needed at all in a scenario. But they still skipped over the liquid nitrogen gun, and the Groovitron would definitely be a good way to stop Dark or Light Jak.

Long live Cinematech. FC:0259-0435-4987At least they didn't add in how Clank can turn into a giant hulking robot almost the size of Godzilla, under certain circumstances. Now THAT would've been totally unfair.
Either way, the outcome remains the same, they were just showing one potential way the fight would go down. With Clank's time powers Ratchet can handily stop Jak with his insane arsenal. That being said, Clank is definitely the defining factor here. Without Clank, Ratchet looses 7/10 times, with it he stomps 9/10 times.
Wha...?
I literally laughed at the whole thing! It was hilarious!
"In two days' time, the Galactic Rangers will be destroyed...Stanley! Are you texting?"
Also, o hai Dr. Nefarious...who's got a fleshy body thing going and he'll probably score the robo-body we usually see him in by the end or so!
