[up][up][up]Yeah, seconding Strat here. This guy mos def needs to be nerfed, even though I can see you've done your best to reasonably power him down. Maybe just get rid of Ionian Hetaroi entirely.

Really do wanna see him in the game, though. He and Finn would be turbo bros 4 lyfe.

Also, he needs a Master, doesn't he? He most certainly needs a Master.

And the Highlander guy. If you want to go for no immortals, Highlander guy is a no no, even if he can be killed "but only through a certain way".

[up][up] Because he's thrown in an universe filled with people that have no idea that 1. he's immortal and 2. he can only be killed through one way. Also, the rule clearly says no immortals, and he is an immortal except for that one way. Wolverine and a vampire character (who, by the way, has more than one weakness) also wouldn't be accepted.

[up] bio, listen to my sincere recommendation: I believe, in the bottom of my heart, it would be best for you to pick somebody else instead of trying to nerf Iskander. There's just so much things- like the fact he needs a Master to live- standing in your way.

OK, I might as well re-iterate the question here since people are actually looking:

Which sheet would you rather I used: The early or late one? Keeping in mind I feel the late one is potentially more broken.

"Yup. That tasted purple."

When in doubt, go for something ridiculous.

  • Name: Ghi Yelgi
  • Age: 20s or so?
  • Species: Human Hume
  • Gender: Male
  • Appearance: Probably the only image of him on the internet, but for reference's sake, he wears these kind of clothes.
  • ‘Verse: Final Fantasy Tactics A 2
  • Personality: A bit of a loner, Ghi is a serious individual, and holds a lot of honor in his blade. He had one goal in life, to engage in a duel of swords with a fellow blademaster named Frimelda Lotice. He becomes annoyed at dishonorable figures, but his biggest annoyance is when people tarnish the name of Frimelda, which he holds in extremely high esteem.
  • Powers/Equipment: Ghi wields the blade Masamune and knows a number of techniques of the Parivir class
    • Flair: The arsenal of the Parivir beats down foes with blindingly fast swordstrikes of deadly precision.
      • Shimmering Blade: His blade is imbued with the element of fire. Confuses opponents.
      • Skyfury Blade: His blade is imbued with the element of thunder. Berserks opponents.
      • Hoarfrost Blade: His blade is imbued with the element of ice. Slows opponents.
  • Background: Once just a lowly mercenary, his life almost ended trying to defend the port town of Graszton from bandits. However, his life was saved by a blademaster called Frimelda. Witnessing her grace and skill in battle, Ghi trained his steel for the day that he might face Frimelda himself as a fellow blademaster. However, complications arose as Frimelda disappeared from the land of Ivalice. In truth, she was turned into a zombie by her former partner and lover, Luc Sardarc, who was jealous of her sword mastery. Ghi gave his health and life to the Witch of the Fens to make a curative to return Frimelda to her former self, and was able to finally duel her before dying.
  • Extra Notes: Frankly, the only one of those Standard Status Effects that actually makes sense is Hoarfrost Blade. I can get rid of the secondary effects if you want.

[up][up][up] Bear in mind that without it, he's basically just a guy with a sword. If anything he needs that power to keep up with the people who can fly around and shoot energy blasts.

Regeneration: Like all other homunculi, he can regenerate spontaneously even when inflicted by wounds that can be considered fatal by human standards. However, after being plucked, part of his energy has been drained, making it while he can still control shadows, his regenerative abilities have been reduced. He can easily regenerate from small wounds and injuries, but when it comes to fatal wounds, like losing a limb or being shot in the head, he will take several days to recover- if he can survive these wounds.

Kurgan's healing factor doesn't go much farther than what you yourself gave Pride - he can't just regenerate limbs in seconds, if seriously damaged it could take weeks to recover.

I don't think you understand. There's one key difference between Pride and Kurgan's regeneration. Pride, if injured enough, will die. If his philosopher's stone, his core is damaged, he will die. There's a myriad ways of doing that. No matter how much you injure Kurgan, however, you can only kill him in one simple way.

Also, homunculi can "run out of stones", which make them pretty much mortal.

Well, here I go...

Name: Shampoo (Really, her name is a Chinese rendering of Shānpú, which is a homophone of Shampoo)

Age: 16

Species: Human & Cat

Gender: Female

Appearance: Human Cat

‘Verse: Ranma One Half

Personality: While Shampoo might seem like a bimbo, she most certainly is not. She has a devious, strategic, quite intelligent mindset, and isn't above scheming, play-acting, misdirecting or completely ruthless behavior to get what she wants, especially towards getting the object of her affection Ranma. She has stated variations on 'obstacle is for killing' as a personal philosophy of expediency, and has enthusiastically attempted to hold true to this for anyone she'd suspect of keeping her from Ranma.

Powers/Equipment:

  • Jusenkyo Curse of Drowned Cat: Because she fell into the Spring of Drowned Cat at Jusenkyo, Shampoo now turns into a cat with cold water and back into a human with hot water. Shampoo retains her human mind when a cat.
  • Martial Artist: Shampoo is an excellent armed or unarmed fighter, is very swift and acrobatic, and strong enough to casually walk right through reinforced stone walls on a regular basis. Because of her training, her cat form is also generally stronger than most cats.
  • Cat Cafe Chef: As someone who works at the Cat Cafe, she is talented in cooking authentic Chinese dishs so long as there is enough ingredients available.

Background: Soon after getting cursed at Jusenkyo, Ranma (as a girl) and his father Genma (as a panda) drop into a contest in a village of the Joketsuzoku tribe of warrior women or Chinese Amazons. Half-starved, they feed on the next available food-stuff - the feast that was to be the first prize for the contest - and are instantly challenged by Shampoo, the village champion. He swiftly defeats her, but this was a bad move. According to Chinese Amazon tribal laws, if a female Amazon is defeated by a female outsider, she must give the outsider the "Kiss of Death", hunt her down to the ends of the Earth, and kill her. Ranma and Genma manage to elude her and settle down in Nerima, thinking that they've lost her.

However, Shampoo eventually tracks female Ranma down and resumes her attempts at murder. She finds Ranma, this time a male, in the Tendo household and declares her intent to kill Akane for hiding female Ranma from her. Ranma stops her attack by kicking the head off of her chúi, which knocked her cold when it landed on her head, accidentally defeating her a second time. However, instead of receiving a "Kiss of Death," Ranma gets a kiss on the lips; it turns out that if a female Amazon is defeated by a male outsider, she has to marry him. She continues on the path of trying to marry male Ranma and kill female Ranma, until Ranma tricks her into thinking that the male side is a disguise for the female side.

Heartbroken, Shampoo returns to China, where she undergoes re-training at the hands of her great-grandmother Cologne and finally receives a cat curse at Jusenkyo, which causes her to become concerned. Realizing that Ranma had been cursed as well, she goes back to Japan with Cologne to try to marry Ranma once more, learning in the process that he is actually male. Since then, she's been living in Nerima working at the Cat Cafe and hoping to get Ranma to choose her over the other suitors he has.

Extra Notes: She has a phobia of frogs and toads.

Are we really debating the word choice here, of all things?

Even if it only says you can kill him by cutting his head off, you could probably extrapolate that reducing him to a gooey red paste would put him out of commission.

But the way Highlander's immortality works is that you can only kill an immortal through decapitation, and only decapitation.

Vox Since: Dec, 2010

There is technically one way, but you can interpret "remove head from body" in different ways. Does it count if his body is say, completely crushed, as his neck is damaged beyond repair? It could.

[up][up] Exactly.

[up][up][up]I think we can take a few liberties here and there, for balance's sake.

Plus, he's gonna need that immortality, since the Kurgan is a huge butthole and he'll probably have everyone out for his blood within the first few hours of the game.

Seriously, look at this motherfucker.

[up] I'm simply pointing out things.

[up][up] That might be a problem:

Speaking of fighting, although characters may hold whatever opinions they wish about the others, they should not fight each other unless they have an extremely good IC reason to or it is part of a subplot.

  • Name: Subaru Nakajima
  • Age: Officially Fifteen, birth date unknown.
  • Species: Human/Combat Cyborg. Is Combat Cyborg a species?
  • Gender: Female. Rainbows are Straighter than Subaru, also.
  • Appearance: Sorry for not posting a proper link, I need to wait to do that. Her eyes are a sort of green/blue color.
  • ‘Verse: Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha
  • Personality: Subaru is very, very energetic. She never seems to slow or calm down. That is, unless her friends and family are threatened she is extremely hyperactive. If they are threatened or worse, Subaru has a rather dangerous temper. There are very few people who make the floor to disintegrate around them if you hurt their sister. Good thing she isn't around.
She thinks that groping her friend is a good way to wake her up and after a timeskip is very, very happy to see and glomp her. Rainbows are straighter.
  • Powers/Equipment: Subaru is a practitioner of the Modern Belka style of magic. The few spells that she has at this point almost all involve punching things really hard. Divine Buster is a short range magic blast, Revolver Shoot is a wind attack, Barrier Break is only good against magical barriers and her other spells are support. Wing Road lets her make a path in the air; Barrier and Protection have to be cast herself as she doesn't have a Device. Finally, Subaru has her Barrier Jacket and Combat Cyborg mode.
The Barrier Jacket gives her basic defence against attacks when she doesn't use either of the defensive spells. The Combat Cyborg mode is a lot more dangerous as it makes Subaru much faster and stronger than normal but using it puts too much strain on the roller-blades for much use because they form an essential part of her fighting style. Subaru seems to dislike using it, as well.
  • Background: Subaru and her sister Ginga are clones of Quint Nakajima, who adopted them before dying. She didn't do much before an airport fire when she was 11, when Nanoha rescued her from being crushed by a statue. This event encouraged her to learn magic so that she could be just like her saviour.
She was paired with another girl called Teana Lanster later on and reached a mage rank of C. The last thing she remembers before waking up here is preparing for the B-rank test.
  • Extra Notes: She is strong enough to throw a teenage girl over a wall when trying to give them a leg-up but doesn't have any combat experience yet. She is also bad at strategy and emphasises just smashing things.

Hi! I hope you don't mind a new person joining? I hope it isn't full; this looked interesting and I would have joined yesterday but I had to wait for the new account thing. I looked up the formatting instead. This place is set up weird...

I was concerned when I saw someone else had picked Subaru and was worried about her power. Feel bad about using her after they've changed their mind but I can't think of another character that isn't worse to balance. Sorry, deadbeat.

I hope we can all be friends. :D
