I think a problem comes in when chance can give one man a power that not very useful, and then turn around and give 2 people 5 high rank powers and make them demigods.

Sort of difficult to balance, don't you think?

There's no such thing as a useless power, within reasonable limits. It's the creative use of those powers that maters, not just slamming them up against each other and seeing what's left.

There are devices that limits the power to containable levels? Collars or wristbands maybe?

I didn't say any where useless, I said not that useful. It was also just generally, not just what we have here. Imagine a character with sense manipulation of something like taste at rank 1, how would any such character stand up to any other, as they have a power they can't control?

• 1. Bribe prisoner with the ability to taste good things in exchange for heavy duty cleaning chemicals.
• 2. Put said chemicals in target's food.
• 3. Alter their taste to so they don't taste the toxins.
• 4.???????
• 5.$$$$$

Well, I'll hold off on making a second character as it seems inspiration isn't coming anytime soon.

Making someone taste something exceedingly bitter or sour would definitely throw someone off in a fight though. Hell, making people taste strong anything.

Use the 'mark' idea to it's full advantage in order to leave open the possibility for people to gain and loose marks/powers over the course of the game?

Whenever I hear someone say "God help you" I just instantly think, as Kantz teleports through a fireball, clad in armor and Babylon Gating everything in sight, "GOD CAN'T HELP YOU NOW!!"

"Hey you bitch! I'm the GM! You can't mess with me!"

"Oh thank god you're here!"

"Don't worry pal, I'll—HRRK!"

"Oh god."

Maybe instead of making it turn off other people's powers, it makes them just not give a shit when people use their powers on them? Like a No-Sell ability. And then they can actually shut off other people's powers by... punching them. Or basically like Rogue, but without the absorption?

You, my good sir, just made my day. XD I completely forgot that from Awesome Gaiden, and now I can't stop imagining Deus doing that as well.

I really don't see why power null has to be nerfed. It's not like it's some almighty ability that automatically destroys everything. It just takes away powers to make it a more even matchup. So instead of the Nine-Tailed Fox and a Super Saiyan beating the crap out of each other in Beam Spam warfare, we just have two people beating the crap out of each other in a straight up boxing match, which can still be entertaining.

As for creature fights... I guess it's like if you have super-tasting. Better grab a buddy.

Alright, the power null is fine, under this condition. You have to actively select your targets. You can turn offf their powers remotely, but you need to specifically single them out. You can't just null all powers in a given area, you have to manually give the command to shut them all off one at a time.

I'll be going over the new apps soon to check stuff. Expect an OP by late tonight (so, 3-5 hours). I do need time to start thinking of elaborate tortures and challenges.

Question: If Victor is in his wolf form while being power nullified, would he revert back to his human form or be unable to transform back?
