Should we ask Mr. A or CC about it, too?

The New Age of Awesome is here! Not even the sky is the limit! But what would they say?
Yeah that's probably the case. We'll have to wait on it in plenty of cases like mine but it should all come together pretty fast.
I've updated the timeline. I think the page analysis will be badly out of sync with the rest of the ARG, so we really should create a separate page for it.
Meanwhile, I'll ask the cat if he recognizes himself.
And, by the way. If the comic is made by Mr. A, why in the living hell would he send it in pieces?! It's unproductive!

The Other Wiki could really use Laconic entries.I'd ask in an indirect manner.
I actually already just asked CC if his fur is orange. If he says yes, it's probably him.

The New Age of Awesome is here! Not even the sky is the limit!I've just realized something.
Mark didn't want Mr. A to know that he told us not to trust him. Mr. A is also aware of both the thread and the timeline. And now we've posted links to Mark's letter, where he can clearly see the warning.
Well, shit.
AWW CRAP
I guess it was inevitable considering that we all needed to see the letter but man, that backfired on us.
One can only wonder how Mark would be now.
^^ ...Shit-fuck.
The New Age of Awesome is here! Not even the sky is the limit!I think it just means Mr.A wouldn't let the letter go out with that note on it. Now that it's in our hands, it doesn't matter.
Besides, did any one of us ever seriously fully trust Mr.A?
A society grows great when old men plant trees whose shade they know they will never sit in.Mr. A doesn't seem to be the kind of guy you could trust 100%, no, which is a bit of a concern.
The New Age of Awesome is here! Not even the sky is the limit!None of us trust Mr. A.
But considering his actions and attitude (Like destroying his dumb instantiation), we have to fear for anyone who gets in his way like Mark, who added some extra material to the letter to warn us.
Okay, image file names. I've done the standard A=1 B=2 on them, since that's been the cypher used in the past. Notgordian on Unfiction better not have changed the names! Ordered and decyphered (the first one is the cover page):
- I G H T
- E N E V
- H T W H
- I N T H
- D I N G
- B R I G
- V O I D
- I T E L
- E R E N
It is thought that each fragment has letters in the correct order but the pieces as a whole are mixed up. The order 8-4-15-0-6-2-17-7-10 yields "bright white light in the neverending void" (thanks to Dryu and Acriz).
EDIT: Oh, I also checked the video that came on the package CD word-for-word against the ANNOUNCEMENT. It matches perfectly.

That was the amazing part. Things just keep going. The only thing that fits so far is VOID. But I get a feeling that the words can jumbled together into something coherent.
We need more. Anyone still waiting on theirs?
A society grows great when old men plant trees whose shade they know they will never sit in.Seems like a letter unscrambling is in order once we get all the pages.
I wonder why Mr. A sent the ANNOUNCEMENT in the package if it's already on Youtube.

This post was thumped by the Eldritch Flyswatter of Horror
I tried to run blocks 6-8 through a Caesar cipher with different shift values - so far, it doesn't make sense. I agree that they should form a message when put together, but I have no idea how "HTWC" can fit into a sentence.
UPD: 6 - 2 - 7 - 10 = "In the neverending void". Supports the theory so far. I don't see the pattern, though.
Maybe it really does have some hidden message. Metadata, or something (it even could be lost when it was uploaded to Youtube). I have no idea - I have no access to the video.

The Other Wiki could really use Laconic entries.//dropping off another thought, no guarantee of accuracy
BRIG is a legitimate word in and of itself, referring to either a type of ship or a US Navy, Marines, or Coast Guard prison, also used in fiction to refer to the prison on a spaceship. It could also conceivably be a fragment of another word; "BRIGADE" and "BRIGAND" come to mind.

"Polite life will fill you full of cancer." - Iggy Pop "I've seen the future, brother, it is murder." -Leonard CohenWe probably won't get anything out of it until the rest of the fragments come in.
"I don't know how I do it. I'm like the Mr. Bean of sex." -DrunkscriblerianMy guess is that together the packages form a coherent story that is supposed to be read along with the comic. Or maybe (but probably not) the comic is an excuse to transmit that story.
The Other Wiki could really use Laconic entries.@Telconta you forgot to decipher the cover page of the comic, or pg. 00
It translates 9-7-8-20 into = IGHT
Research is what I'm doing when I don't know what I'm doing- Wernher von Braun Until proven otherwise, Everything is RelevantGetting all the packages might take a while. I presume this is based in America, and they said that they would try to get packages to everybody who asked for one. I'm in England, and I'm fairly certain someone else is in Australia.
On that note, it's cool how this whole thing is a global effort.
The New Age of Awesome is here! Not even the sky is the limit! The fourth wall affects us all.
Oh geez, the cat's getting to me.
EDIT: Yeah, he noticed all right

Oooh, people already involved will get extra stuff in their package.
"I don't know how I do it. I'm like the Mr. Bean of sex." -Drunkscriblerian
I think this will have to wait until other shards arrive. We need to find some place where we can upload and group the images. As a worst-case scenario, we can use the regular image hosts, and create a page to hold the shards, grouped by page.
Also, the image names are (again!) groups of 4 numbers, the largest being 23. I bet these are to be interpreted as letters, too, but by themselves they don't seem to make any sense. When uploading an image, be sure to include the file name.
Also, am I correct in thinking that the images on the CD are the same as the comic book?
And, just speculating: On the cover, Mr. A's rectangle is the center of the cracks. You know where this is going, right? And then, there is a hand-written warning in the letter. Maybe we should get a hold of Mark.
