Visual Arts Tropes would be a sub trope index built around created imagery I take it?
Visual Symbolism Tropes would make a good subindex as well for stuff like Fiery Redhead where visuals indicate something you're expected to associate with it.

Fight smart, not fair. That's a good point.
Yeah, it's one of those weird problems where what amounts to a character description is something used to identify a work, but it's not really that important beyond that. Others actually use the physical description for something (ie: someone with rare hair/eye/skin color is from a lost race or whatever).
Fight smart, not fair.I've had a lot of problems finding a trope related to rumors that never get put down. Digging around, we seem to be lacking in tropes related to rumors.
I've found:
- Reports of My Death Were Greatly Exaggerated - A character reported dead isn't dead.
- Malicious Slander - Hurtful lies.
- Gossip Evolution - The rumor changing as it spreads.
- Infallible Babble - Any information you receive is probably reliable.
- Urban Legend of Zelda - Rumors persisting without proof, video game specific.
Are we missing a super trope? An index? This is all I can easily find at the moment, a site search for "rumors" comes up with every mention of the word in the forums. Main/Rumors seems to be a redlinked play. We really seem to be missing something here.

At the very least, we should probably have a Rumor Tropes index, they're built around a consistent concept so probably should be on an index index at the least.
Fight smart, not fair.Index pages a free launch or need to be YKTTW?
It needs a catchier name, like: We Heard This Index From The Grapvine or They Say This Index Exists.
I think it's time we address more Missing Supertrope elephants in the room.
We discussed a while ago that Missing Supertrope is a problem that continues to plague the wiki, because it grew too fast and a lot of tropes we have now have problems because we tend to let Wiki Magic and osmosis do the work for us. However, with the number of users and new pages we've got, we're going to have to start making more appropriate super tropes to sort them and avoid constant trips to the TRS.
Here is one of the more egregious ones I can think of:
Visual Trope
We need something for tropes like this. The problem here is that this is a trope which, overall creates a particular Audience Reaction, but can't exactly be fit into that category. As a result, examples usually fit somewhere between Zero Context Examples and a bunch of cruft that may or may not have anything to do with the trope itself. Let's take Curtains Match the Windows (and other Personal Appearance Tropes) and Boobs-and-Butt Pose (and other Stock Poses, for example. These are tropes we can clearly see in effect. If we look at an example, we can see if it fits or not, and the intention of the creator doesn't factor into whether or not the trope exists. This is similar to Music Tropes, in that we can hear whether or not a Modulation occurs, and we don't need to make theories and reasons why we think it's there.
