Randomly, this series has awful costume design. Wear some pants.
It's amazing, the things that can be solved with them wearing pants.
The words above are to be read as if they are narrated by Morgan Freeman.Done with 9. More of the same. Unless there's an enormous spike in objectionable content in the next ep., I see no reason to cut. My largest quibbles with the episode were a slip-up in consistency as well as reckless gun usage from military personnel. They should know better than to have a simulated, unsupervised duel with live ammunition.
@Marq FJA: I don't view the whole series. Generally speaking, sampling three episodes from various points is enough to get a feel for the series. That's what I have been doing.

"Polite life will fill you full of cancer." - Iggy Pop "I've seen the future, brother, it is murder." -Leonard CohenYour conversation made me GIS this out of morbid curiosity. I have to echo the common sentiment: wear some damn pants.
Maybe they live in an MMORPG?
Waiting on a TRS slot? Finishing off one of these cleaning efforts will usually open one up.You mean they're not high enough level to wear real pants?
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickI assume cocoa means the tendency of mmo player de-equip pants and run around going "look at me im streaking!" mmo player do some wired shit.
Eh, it could be worse: at least they're not wearing booty shorts...
Experience has taught me to investigate anything that glows. The weird thing is that I don't get as much of a skeevy vibe from this as I do from, say, a series that has a lot of panty shots. They seem like they're mostly wearing shirts over bathing suits/gym shorts. I don't logically know why that would be better than panty shots, but it just seems less prurient somehow.

This ep. has been noticeably racier by virtue of having a (censored) bath scene that lasted much longer than the previous, but most of it was milked for comedy. Apparently a bug was crawling around in their clothes. Still as pants-deficient as ever.
"Polite life will fill you full of cancer." - Iggy Pop "I've seen the future, brother, it is murder." -Leonard CohenPerhaps related to Theiss Titillation Theory. Normalcy negates titillation to an extent; a hole in an otherwise conservative dress is more indecent than people in bathing suits.
Though I don't necessarily share the sentiment that it feels less "wrong".
The words above are to be read as if they are narrated by Morgan Freeman.Actually, I was talking about the strange tendency of MMORPG female armors to not include pants, even if the item is named "____ Pants". I recall once giving up and spending cash on a pair of opaque stockings just so I didn't give myself panty shots every time I swung my spear.
This webcomic kinda sums it up.
Waiting on a TRS slot? Finishing off one of these cleaning efforts will usually open one up.As a guy who enjoys playing female warrior characters in MMORPGs, that always annoyed the crap out of me.
Look, I enjoy occasional fanservice, but when you're in battle, protection should be paramount.

Final ep. viewed. *
Verdict: Keep
- Target audience is younger (according to upthread discussion)
- Fanservice is not nearly pervasive enough to justify cutlisting
- Fanservice seemed to come primarily from the older-looking characters
- Actually has a plot rather than being a vehicle to ogle scantily-clad females
If the page stays clean, I say we can keep it. Honestly, if the girls would throw some goddamned pants on instead of flying around in their panties(?) this probably wouldn't have been flagged.

"Polite life will fill you full of cancer." - Iggy Pop "I've seen the future, brother, it is murder." -Leonard CohenI've seen enough of the anime on the Funimation site to be comfortable with voting keep. It's not perfect by any means, but it doesn't quite seem to be the kind of thing we're looking to cut.
Visit my contributor page to assist with the "I Like The Cheeses" project! For me, "is it porn" is not the question here (it's not), the underage aspect is. Its target demographics seem to indicate a younger audience, and rating systems understand this.
Do we need the grant some degree of curating?
Also, they still need to wear pants.
The words above are to be read as if they are narrated by Morgan Freeman.I didn't see too much in the way of gushing on skimming the trope list, but we can resolve with a recommendation for clean up if necessary.
Visit my contributor page to assist with the "I Like The Cheeses" project!In-universe justification or not, it's still rather... weird, to say the least.
Experience has taught me to investigate anything that glows.Do you know what the justification is?
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.Yes, you gave it earlier, and no, it doesn't matter at all.
"Did anybody invent this stuff on purpose?" - Phillip Marlowe on tequila, Finger Man by Raymond Chandler. No, I didn't. Someone else did. And strictly speaking, I was merely responding to the "it's weird" reactions (which looked to me like personal opinions rather than part of their official verdicts), not talking about whether it's a valid excuse from the reveiw process.

Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus. My mistake, it was someone else. I'm just making the point that in-universe justification isn't justification at all. It's been tried several times and the argument holds no water.
Yes, it was a blanket point. Let's stop the derail.

Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.
Episode 9? You only finished episode 1.
