Yeah, he said he wasn't stopping Let's Plays, and he didn't seem too peeved about having to get a job or anything. He also thinks the reaction to stop LPing because of this is ridiculous. The thing that seems to bother him most about this, is that Nintendo was okay with this and he asked permission to them to make videos. The only thing this would affect is his update frequency, but I'm sure you guys will live.

Yeah, honestly, I don't NEED a video every day. Just as long as there's quality videos while still giving the producers time to, well, have a life—I'd think the latter is more important than the former anyway.

Well, Nintendo just reversed their case on content IDs due to all the bad PR. Thank god for whining LP fans turning the internet against them.

I think the next LP they should do should be Kirby & the Amazing Mirror. Think about it, the three of them plus a guest can all do their own thing and fan out for exploration.

Ugh, Nintendo, really, you had to cave like that? Come on.

But anyway, I'd love to see them do a Kirby And The Amazing Mirror LP (though if I recall correctly, I think that'd require all of them to have a cart to play it on—I remember trying to play it multiplayer with one cart long ago and that it forced all of the players to look at one GBA screen rather than projecting the game onto the linked GBA as well, which was kinda dumb). If they do do that, though, I'd love to see them try to do it in a similar way to how pokecapn 'n his posse did their The Legend Of Zelda Four Swords Adventures LP.

You do realize that this bad PR included one of the biggest video game tournament organizations, right?

The whole EVO fiasco was apparently because the legal department went a bit overbaord.

It's Nintendo's content, so if they want to claim money from it, they have the legal right to do so—and, indeed, they are technically required by law to enforce their trademarks and copyrights and protect them from unauthorized use.

But that's besides the point of this thread's topic anyway.

I know this is supposed to have been "moved on", but it's not that they wanted to claim money for it. The legal department wanted the EVO organizers to not have any other company's ads playing on the stream.

Yeah, not sure about the legal department blame game. They're obviously trying to divert the attention towards someone else since Nintendo is quite hurting for cash due to the extremely slow start the Wii U has.

I doubt Nintendo is hurting for cash, like, at all, between their historical success (which they obviously still must have BILLIONS left from, considering they've generally been the best-selling of all the major video game companies) and the 3DS. Sure, the Wii U doesn't have the steam they probably hoped it'd have, but I doubt they're taking much of a loss from that at all.

Considering Iwata chose to cut his pay by half, that really says something.

But enough of that.

Four Swords would also be a good LP for TRG, for the same reasons as Amazing Mirror.

If I recall, they said they weren't going to do Four Swords because Super Jeenius already did it with Tim, Josh and Pcull.

That's weird because that's 3/4 of the lineup for Castle Crashers.

I guess that leaves Amazing Mirror as their potentially exclusive little project. It would require an elaborate setup similar to LP Versus races. Four GameCubes with four TVs, each with a Game Boy Player peripheral, and all four connected with a GBA Link Cable.

Did they say anything about LPing New Super Luigi U?

I'm sure they will eventually, but they seem to plan most of their LPs far in advance (out of necessity, of course, considering none of them live even remotely near each other), so I doubt there's plans for it anytime soon.

But how were they able to play a game that had just been released (NSMBU)?

Well, it was announced earlier, and I'm sure they knew the launch date as well as when they could get together next. Not to mention since they did New Super Mario Bros. Wii, people would want them to do this one.

But now people will want them to do NSLU because of NSMBU.

Okay? I don't see the issue here.

So now they're going to finish up the N64 Mario Parties by having a throwback to their roots as three guys and the CPU.

And seem to have uploaded Part 4 as Part 3.

Cause there's a MASSIVE gap.

Already fixed, just part of the previous video that was missing. They uploaded a new version of part 3 that contains the skipped moment from part 2. That is actually a pretty small gap.
