Should the fan page be Fanon/Vocaloid? Or FanWorks/Vocaloid? Or something else?
FanWorks.Vocaloid would be the proper page.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickAlright, done. Does that work?
It could use an explanation and not just a trope list, but it is an improvement.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickYes, I couldn't think of anything. Maybe just:
This is for tropes related to songs and other fan works. For tropes related to official material go here.
I also feel the note I put linking to the fan work page could be more noticeable somehow.

Personally I'd prefer that we scrap the listing of Shotacon and Twincest. I know that element is out there is some of the videos, but given the recent concerns about content related to these topics, I'd rather it not get emphasized here. Not to mention it seems to be very controversial even in the fandom, from what I've seen.

I'll echo the comments in @32. We're not noting other fanworks where it's portrayed positively; we're not doing it here.
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster.I don't think there should be any positive portrayals of those topics either. However, shotacon in particular has been controversial enough to spawn several songs criticizing and/or parodying the concept. Should those songs be allowed here?
Shotacon is not something that is found in the official material. Just as we have decided that we don't discuss fanfic of a pedophile nature, I don't think we need to be discussing some of the skeevier aspects of Len Kagamine's fandom. Among other things, it risks gives a false impression that it is something inherent to the products, not to mention being a case on importing fandom drama we really can do without.
Cut the shotacon. We don't need that sort of stuff on the page and it's better than having to cut the fan works page entirely.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickJust deleted all references to shotacon, lolicon and twincest. Twincest is problematic because it is refering to 14 year old characters.
Thank you, Catbert. Did you do the character page too?

Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickYes. I forgot it at first, but shortly after I made the above post I went and did the character page.
Okay, just to be clear: are we cutting all mentions of these topics on the Vocaloid page, or just the positive examples?
We're cutting the stuff that isn't in line with our content hosting policy so that we don't have to cut the vocaloid stuff entirely.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickLooks like this is done.
Waiting on a TRS slot? Finishing off one of these cleaning efforts will usually open one up.
That would be lovely if you could do that. I would link the fan tropes from the main vocaloid page just to make sure that they don't get added back.
