You keep going on and on about how Ghetsis has apparently fell flat into Villain Decay, yet you're not bothering to elaborate other than ceaselessly pointing out a (false) localization change. What's the issue here, exactly?

Yes, because we all know that wikis are totally reliable and never have false information on them. Especially false information that has been verified by people as not being true.

Hate to burst your bubble there MM, but that little tidbit of info was there ever since footage of the "murder scene" was first released. In Japanese. Before any fan translations came out.

And even though bulbapedia is a pretty professional fan wiki, bear in mind that it has an entire section dedicated to shipping.

Here's Ghetsis' line in Japanese when he orders the attack on you and the icicles circle you.

「ここで氷漬けとなり、イッシュの行く末をみるがいい！キュレム！こごえるせかいです！」
"Koko de koori-zuke to nari, Isshu no yukusue wo miru ga ii! Kyuremu! Kogoeru Sekai desu!"

This translates to.

"You will be frozen here and see the end of Unova! Kyurem! Glaciate!"

There's no mention of killing you in the talk just before that line either. So no. The English version did not censor anything.

They atleast have the decency to lable it Fanon and give a warning before entering.

But Shipping is stupid anyway.

Yes, because impalement is so cool and edgy. It's way better than being forced to watch a madman take over your homeland and being able to do nothing to stop it, let alone dying slowly while frozen.

I never said it was cool. But which is a more threatening Complete Monster villain? The guy who would command his big scary dragon to attack you with icicles, or the guy who would command his big scary dragon to freeze you in a world with Harmless Freezing where you could be saved even if N arrived late.

The physical and mental torture of slowly starving to death (assuming that the ice isn't as physically harmful as it seems) and watching the villain win.

That's the piddly excuse people use because they always defend everything. And good luck seeing that homeland being taken over when you are in the middle of a cave.

It's a KIDS GAME. What do you expect? (Though I doubt dialogue about attempted murder would bring it up to an E10+, I've seen worse, but still.)

He going to fucking kill you either way. No, I don't give a shit that Pokemon can be frozen in battle, you're a human and this isn't a Pokemon battle. And this is a game that's primarily aimed at little kids, it's not surprising they don't want to go too far with the the implied violence.

Well, seeing as you're obviously not going to be swayed, I'm not going to bother.

So, how 'bout them new Gym Leaders! What's Marlon like?

And note that in the main games (I believe in Pokemon XD, a grunt does the same thing with sleep powder) this is the first time a villain uses a Pokemon to attack a human. The point about him being more dangerous than other villains is still hammered in.

This whole incident is a repeat of the whole Giovanni committed suicide thing, I swear.

I heard Marlon is a bit of a stuck up guy.

Pokepark Wii is a kids game. The anime is for kids (The first few seasons were pretty awesome). The main seires is for EVERYONE, and E10+ isn't something that is gonna traumatise people worldwide.

Considering you didn't even listen to the whole "How can you see that homeland being taken over when you are in the middle of a cave?" part, it is I whose cries fall on deaf ears.
